It had been three weeks since the kiss. Minho wasn’t sure how he wanted to approach Jisung. The younger got flustered the second their eyes met, a blush rising on his cheeks whilst he would quickly looked away every time. Sure, they still had normal conversations, however every first interaction of the day would go like this. Everyone around them had noticed something had happened, but none of the boys dared to ask. Meanwhile, Changbin was literally going crazy watching the two act like this, just hoping ANYTHING would happen.
However, both agreed amongst themselves that the week before the exams took place wasn’t a good time to start dating. The exams counted for 40% of their final grade that year, a terrifying percentage. If you failed this, you had to work extremely hard to pass the year. Minho also kept thinking about what Changbin had said. Christmas is cliché, but is Minho really willing to wait another three weeks before confessing? He didn’t know if his heart could handle that.
Jisung on the other hand had the gears behind his eyes spinning 24/7. He couldn’t help his feelings whenever he glanced at the older. Flashbacks from the kiss immediately playing in his mind, making him all the more embarrassed. He had asked Changbin what to do and all the other said was ‘it will happen when the time is right’. In other words, he wasn’t the greatest help to poor Jisung.
Now, all 8 boys were once again seated in the library. It was a lot fuller this time around, the entire school fearing the long awaited —not in a good way, exams. Jeongin was leaning against Hyunjin, already looking exhausted from studying all afternoon.
“Honestly though, why do the professors give us this much homework the week before exams? They’re nuts!” Seungmin exclaimed, closing one of his books in frustration. The boy had only started studying 2 days ago thinking he could fully handle whatever subject would be thrown towards him. He now realised how wrong he was as his brain struggled to keep all the information remembered.
“They probably want to cram as much information in before exams start… I just don’t know if that is the way to go.” Chan sighed as he continued to scribble down some answers.
“Will you guys be going to Jennie Kim’s party this Saturday? It’s in three days.” Hyunjin said suddenly, eyes shining with excitement. Hyunjin loved to party, but he would only go if his friends (and boyfriend) tagged along. It wasn’t fun partying with people you don’t know and besides that, he would need someone to get his drunk ass home safely.
“I don’t know… Is it really that smart to go to a party the weekend before exams?” Changbin said as he played with his pen, trying to balance it on his nose. Hyunjin shrugged in response. The boy had already been studying every day with Jeongin for longer than a week now, both helping each other out wherever needed. He needed something fun to do.
“Honestly, maybe not. Buuuuuuuut, it could also be a good stress reliever. I’m in, Hyunjinnie!” Felix said, pumping his fist up in the air in excitement.
“Well, I guess it ain’t bad to let lose every once in a while.” Chan said with a smile. Hyunjin started clapping his hands softly, excited his friends wanted to go.
“How about you four?” Jeongin asked the rest of the group, who still seemed slightly unsure. Jisung was already planning to say no, not enjoying parties all that much. He didn’t like alcohol, he didn’t like large groups of people and he didn’t like the loud bass that would make him lose his balance whenever it got too loud.
“Well… sure! I haven’t been to one of Jennie’s parties in ages! They’re always the best.” Changbin nodded. Seungmin agreed to go as well, saying if all of them went he might as well join.
“Jisung? Minho?” Hyunjin asked, bouncing up and down with energy at this point.
“I think I’m gonna ski—”
“We’ll come. Right, Sung?” Minho looked at the younger. Instantly, Jisung wasn’t able to form a sentence as the kiss replayed in his head once again. The smile Minho was giving him was so sweet, his mind drew a blank. So rather than to say anything, he just nodded. Minho smiled and winked at him, the entire table surprised yet excited to see Jisung join them.
“It’s gonna be great! I’m so excited! Thanks guys, it’ll be fun!”
‘I highly doubt that.’ Was all Jisung could think to himself as he came back to his senses, shooting non lethal glares towards the boy next to him.
Saturday rolled around sooner than Jisung would have liked. He took a long hot shower, dreading whatever Changbin had rolled up his sleeve. His best friend had told the younger to come over an hour before they would go to the party together. There was always good reason to be suspicious of Seo Changbin when it came to going out. The last time they had gone to a party, Changbin had turned up in a clown costume. The entire house gave him off looks, especially when he said he thought it was a Halloween costume party.
In March.
Regardless, Jisung stepped out of the shower and got dressed. He was already running slightly late, so he quickly shoved some ramyeon down his throat before leaving to Changbin’s apartment. Innitially, Minho was supposed to go with them to the party, however he had notified them that morning that they could go without him and he’d arrive a little later. Jisung had been slightly pissed at this, seeing the whole reason he was going was because of said boy. However, it did mean that when Jisung reached Changbin’s apartment he wasn’t as nervous as he would have been, had Minho been there.
“Come on in, Sungie! Did you eat before coming here?”
“Yup, I ate. So, why did you want me to come earli— oh, hi Felix.” Jisung smiled at Felix who jumped up from the couch, seemingly bursting with energy. Felix had probably become his next closest friend besides Changbin, Minho and Chan. Even though they had their little misunderstanding when they had slept over at Seungmin’s house, Jisung had come to know the boy a lot better. Turns out, Felix had the purest and sweetest personality Jisung had ever seen. The boy would never hesitate to help any of them if they asked, and often came to school with a box full of home made snacks. It also helped that they were born literally one day apart, Felix claiming that if he had been born in Korean time it would have also been the 14th, hence making them twins.
“Hi Jisung! Ready for your transformation?”
“M-My uhh…. my what? Uhh, Binnie?”
“Oops, forgot to tell you… my bad? Felix is doing your makeup and I’m picking out your outfit! Felix is a literal god at makeup, look at those sparkly eyes of his!” Jisung shot a quick glare at Changbin —knowing damn well he hadn’t told him on purpose, before looking back at the other. He couldn’t lie, Felix’ makeup was insanely pretty. “Well, alright. Lets get to it then.” He decided to just surrender, hoping to get this over with quicker.
Felix got to work as Jisung watched Changbin go through his closet. Jisung was just wearing denim skinny jeans and a white tshirt, which Changbin didn’t deem ‘sexy’ enough. When he had tried argueing with the older that he did not need to look ‘sexy’, Changbin had shot him down.
“My definition of sexy isn’t your definition of sexy.”
“Yeah, because my definition is M A L E.” Jisung had groaned, earning a loud laugh from Felix who agreed with him. He had secretly been crushing on Chan and had decided to confide in Jisung. The reason he had chosen to tell Jisung over anyone else? ‘I see the way you look at Minho hyung.’ Needless to say, Jisung had been very embarrassed, but listened to his friend’s thoughts and feelings nonetheless.
It didn’t take Felix too long to do his makeup. Jisung had very good skin, so the only thing that was needed was some concealer under the eyes, eyeshadow and a lip tint.
“Hot.” Felix said, earning a nod from Changbin as he looked over his shoulder. “It’ll go great with this outfit.” The youngest of the three raised one of his brows, unimpressed by the latter. “Hyung, the outfit is all black. Anything looks good with that.”
“H-Hey! It means I didn’t lie, though!” The two bickered for a moment, telling Jisung not to look in the mirror in the process. He sighed as the two left the room for him to change. Scanning over the outfit that was sprawled out onto the bed, Jisung remembered Minho dressing him similarly, only this time it had more chains to attach to his pants as well. Did everyone just want him to look like an eboy? Or did Changbin pick this on purpose because he knows this is Minho’s style? He groaned at he thought of Minho, grabbing the shirt and pulling it on.
Checking himself out in the mirror once he had put it on, he noticed that the outfit was indeed the same style as what Minho had made him wear. He pinched the bridge of his nose, letting out an annoyed sigh thinking about his best friend. He really appreciated the help, but he also remembered how everyone had stared at Jisung last time like he was some pinterest wannabe eboy. And he didn’t know if he liked that or not.
His disapproving thoughts where confirmed as he watched his two friends freak out over how good he looked. Felix miraculously had fake piercings in his makeup kit, slapping one onto Jisung’s eyebrow. He tried giving the latter an eyebrow slit which Jisung had immediately turned down. He wasn’t going to have to face the whole school with an eyebrow slit on monday, thank you very much. The trio had left Changbin’s appartment soon after, two-thirds of them super excited.
“Come on Ji, it’s gonna be fun! Just let lose for now, I’m sure it won’t be as bad.”
“I don’t like alcohol.” Jisung muttered, looking down at the pavement rather than ahead of him. Changbin smiled to him, trying to convince him it wasn’t so bad. “Ji, there’s different types of drunks. Besides! You are you. You will only do it once if you want to, and then never again… Especially when you find yourself with a splitting headache the next morning. Trust me, that will make you regret things.”
“Yeah, sure. Definitely sounds like fun.” Felix frowned, not aware of Jisung’s reasoning to hate alcohol he chimed in. “It will be fun whilst you’re drunk, afterwards is when shit hits the fan. Just enjoy the moment and regret your past self the following day! That’s what I always do!”
Jisung couldn’t be convinced, so he just nodded to drop the conversation. He knew that all they said was true, but his personal first-hand experience with an alcoholic just made him scared. He was terrified to end up just like his father. What if he did have fun when he was drunk? He was afraid that once he picked up the bottle, he wouldn’t put it back down. The boy was frowning at this point as he still looked at the road beneath him, so much so he hadn’t realised that they were already in front of their destination. As Changbin lightly hit his arm to draw his attention, his senses returned to him and suddenly he was aware of the music coming from inside the house. He sighed one final time before putting on a smile, heading to go inside with his friends.
Inside, the music was deafening. Yet to Jisung, it wasn’t the most disturbing thing about the party. It was the way everyone seemed to be grinding up and down each other, a bunch of people making out everywhere his eyes took him. ‘I’m so out of place. What if someone comes up to me and they stick their tongue into my mouth too? Ohmygod, no.’ He stayed close to Changbin and Felix who had immediately made their way to the kitchen to get something to drink. In there, the boys found Jeongin and Hyunjin dancing together, red cups both in hand. Jisung laughed softly to himself, not having imagined Jeongin to be the type to drink. The aforementioned seemed to have noticed the three as his smile widened and he started blaring over the music.
“Hey guys, good to see ya!” He put his cup in the air as a way to salute them. Jisung waved back awkwardly, feeling people bump into him from behind. ‘I shouldn’t have come. Why did I agree again? Oh right, Lee fucking Minho. That gorgeous son of a bitch who isn’t even here ye— Ohmygod someone is bumping into me. I-Is that someone GRINDING onto me? Oh my fucking god. Get me the fuck out. What have I done to deserve this.’ Changbin handed him a red cup and he grimaced as he looked up at the older. His best friend was already swaying his hips side to side, a cup to his lips.
“Come on Sungie, you can enjoy yourself for once! It won’t hurt you!” Jisung looked around, watching everyone around him drunk out of his mind. He realised he wasn’t going to enjoy this party if he was the only sober one, no matter how much he didn’t want to raise the cup to his mouth.
“Jisungie~” Hyunjin who seemed the most drunk, decided to insert himself in the conversation. “I’m convinced you hate this party right now… but I’m even more convinced that it’ll be better after a few shots! Lets have fun!” Hyunjin raised his cup, Felix and Jeongin as well as some others Jisung didn’t know all raised theirs to cheer too. And so, peerpressured and already annoyed, Jisung downed the cup. Maybe it was good to let lose for once, letting go of all his worries and stress. He reminded himself before he was too far gone, that it really would stay at a one time thing.
Minho made his way to the party. Truth was, he hadn’t wanted to go either, which resulted in him telling the others he had some plans before coming. The only reason he had agreed was to get Jisung to experience new things once in a while. Now, as he was nearing the loud music, he couldn’t help but feel bad he had forced the other to go. He hoped that when he entered, the boy wouldn’t look miserably out of place. Walking up to the porch, three students were outside having a smoke. He greeted them even though he had no clue who they were and entered through the open front door. The noise immediately increased as he made his way to the bustling livingroom.
He quickly spotted Changbin, Hyunjin, Jeongin and Felix but Jisung was nowhere to be seen. He pushed his way through the crowd before he tapped Felix on his shoulder. The younger turned around and gave Minho the biggest grin in existence.
“Hyung!” He shouted, slinging his arm around Minho’s shoulder. “Glad to see you could make it!”
“Yeah, me too!” Minho lied, grabbing onto the cup Jeongin was handing to him. “Where’s Jisung?!” He asked. Three boys shrugged but when he turned to Changbin, he saw the boy had a smirk plastered on his face. Without yelling anything over the loud EDM music, he pointed over Minho’s shoulder in the direction of the kitchen. As he turned around, his eyes widened.
Jisung was dancing with Chan and another boy he didn’t know. He saw the smile on his crush’s face, his eyes closed in bliss as he had one of his arms around Chan’s shoulder. He was shocked to see Chan grinding up on Jisung, almost postive the older was crushing on Felix and not the boy he was dancing with. Minho couldn’t help but feel jealous, quickly downing the cup Jeongin had given him before he made his way over to the boy.
Before he could reach him, their eyes met and Jisung’s eyes began to sparkle, smile growing bigger in the process.
“Hyungie!” He heard him yell, watching as the younger retracked his arm from Chan’s shoulder and sprinted towards Minho. He gave him a hug as he yelled into the older’s ear. “I’m so glad you’re finally here, dancing with Chan hyung was boooooring!” Minho couldn’t help but laugh whilst he watched Jisung face as he pulled back from the hug. His eyes couldn’t help but widen as he took in Jisung’s look. The boy’s outfit looked similar to what he had picked for him before, only this one looked even hotter on the younger. His hair had some glitter in it and his eyes were covered in a maroon eyeshadow, an eyebrow piercing above Jisung’s right eye. He then noticed Jisung’s round, red cheeks, the boy obviously drunk.
“Are you drunk?!” Minho asked over the loud music. He was sad he couldn’t hear it, but he watched Jisung let out a giggle. The boy put his arms around Minho’s neck as he pulled himself closer, starting to dance with the older. “Maybe.” He said, mischievous glint in his eyes. Minho could only laugh and shake his head, joining the younger in his dancing. “Your cheeks are red!” Minho yelled over the loud music. “It’s because this outfit is too damn hot!” The younger yelled back, rolling his sleeves up to his elbows.
‘Hot you are, for sure.’
Throughout the next half hour, the boys kept getting drinks whenever they ran out from either Chan, Jeongin or Hyunjin. Minho had started to feel tipsy, but Jisung was completely gone at this point. He had been dancing carelessly, not interested in anyone around him except for Minho and the rest of his friends. Whenever someone attempted to grind up against him, he would confidently push them away before rolling his eyes to show his annoyance. Minho couldn’t help but laugh as he watched the boy being confident for the second time since he’d known him. He watched as Jisung got handed a drink by a guy he had never seen before, but Jisung seemed to know him as he waved at him and yelled a loud “thanks, Hojun!” Jisung chugged the drink and grimaced, not liking the taste. “That wasn’t vodka!” He just yelled and started giggling as Minho twirled him around. Jisung lost his balanced and fell face first into Minho’s chest as he quickly locked the younger in a hug.
“I caught you.” He said into the younger’s ear. He would have whispered, but the music would have been too loud for Jisung to hear it. The boy just nodded, looking up at Minho with a small smile. “Hyung..” he said, barely loud enough to be heard. Somehow, he seemed less excited and happy than before in almost an instant. “Yeah!?” Minho yelled back, hoping that Jisung would yell in return. Instead, he got dragged by the younger into the hallway. “I wanna go home.” The younger said, tears suddenly forming in his eyes. Minho’s mouth fell open slightly in shock, surprised the younger’s mood had changed so quickly. He nodded, not wanting the boy to be uncomfortable.
“Let me just find Changbin to tell him we’re leaving, so they don’t get worried. Stay here.” He sat Jisung down on the stairs who simply nodded, as Minho headed back into the living room to find Changbin. It took him a couple seconds to locate him, until he saw the boy making out with some girl he hadn’t seen before. He sighed before he walked towards them regardless. The kiss seemed to stop just as he arrived, which relieved him. At least he didn’t need to break it apart awkwardly.
“Changbin!” He yelled and the boy turned around.
“Minho, my man!” The boy yelled, clearly intoxicated as well. Minho sighed, grabbing the cup from Changbin’s hand. Suddenly, he felt a growing worry in the pit of his stomach. Pushing it aside, he quickly let the boy know where they were going. “Jisung and I are leaving. I suggest you stop drinking alcohol, be careful on your way home and text me when you made it there safely!” Changbin nodded and waved Minho goodbye. He grabbed a bottle of water before he made his way back to the hallway, where the music was luckily not as loud. His eyes widened as he saw the same guy from before talking to Jisung, his hand holding a firm grip around the youngers’ wrist. The unfamiliar guy was standing dangerously close to Jisung, Minho not liking what he was seeing one bit. “N-No.” He could hear Jisung say before he interrupted them. The anxious feeling shooting through his body again, Minho knew he had to quickly step in.
“Excuse me, leave my boyfriend the fuck alone.” Minho said as he removed ‘Hojun’s’ hand from Jisung’s wrist. The boy seemed pissed, but he didn’t press any further and quickly left to go back into the heart of the party. He grabbed Jisung by the hand and they left the house, the smell of cigarettes having turned into one of weed. Minho noticed how Jisung was stumbling, struggling to keep up with him.
“What did that guy want from you?”
“H-He asked me t’go wih himmm…” Jisung mumbled, not able to speak a clear sentence. “God, how much did you drink?”
“Enuf! ‘M hydwated!” Minho shook his head whilst he chuckled, pulling the boys hand to make him stop walking. He crouched down, telling the younger to get on his back. “And drink this.” He handed over the water bottle as he stood up, the younger now on his back. Jisung didn’t seem to hesitate, gulping the contents of the bottle down faster than the speed of sound.
“Hmm… guess I didn’ dwink enuf!” He started giggling softly to himself, Minho smiling as he found Jisung’s mumbling adorable. It took a few minutes, but they finally arrived to Jisung’s house which was closer than his own. Plus, he wasn’t ready to carry the boy up the stairs to his apartment, arms already exhausted from carrying him all the way there. Jisung reached into his pocket and handed him the keys, nearly dropping them twice in the process.
“The blue’ne.” Jisung mumbled, his eyes now closed yet somehow he was still awake. Minho pushed the door open, before walking inside. His intention was to put Jisung down, but when he thought the younger stood on the ground and he let him go, Jisung fell down completely, unable to support his body weight at all.
“Sung?! Are you alright?”
“Hmmm… I’on know.” Jisung mumbled, his head resting against the wall as he still had his eyes closed. Minho closed the door behind them before turning to the boy who was now seated on the floor. “Lock it… stay… tonight… please…” Jisung said quietly. Minho couldn’t argue, it seemed like the boy needed support and there was no way he would leave him alone when he looked this miserable.
“Can you stand?” He grabbed onto the younger’s hands and tried pulling him up, but it seemed as if Jisung’s body wasn’t cooperating. A sack of potatoes would’ve helped the older more in getting up than Jisung was able to do.
“Sung? How much did you actually drink?!”
“Like… Six?…. M’be sev’n?” Minho frowned. He himself had only drank three and whilst he was a lightweight, he was still very much aware of his actions. There was no way Jisung was this much of a lightweight, to the point his entire body stopped working. He shook his head, knowing the boy must be lying or had simply lost count. He crouched down beside the younger, putting one arm on Jisung’s back and the other under his legs as he lifted him up. He slowly made his way up the stairs as he watched Jisung’s limp body. Something wasn’t right. The boy was still awake —barely, but it seemed as if he was completely knocked out.
Minho was able to open Jisung’s bedroom door with his elbow before carrying the boy in and placed him down on the bed. He quickly walked back to the door to close it and after doing so, he made his way back to Jisung. “C-Can you like… move anything at all?” Minho asked warely, somewhat scared something was wrong with his soulmate. He didn’t necessarily feel the ‘danger’ or anxiety he normally would in his stomach, yet he couldn’t shake off the uneasy feeling he felt.
“N-No. I-I don’t… f-feel anything.” Minho’s eyes widened, remembering the drink that guy had handed Jisung. “Where do you know that Hojun guy from?”
“He’s friends with Jackson hyung.” Minho squinted his eyes. He had heard the rumors about Jackson and his (literal) gang and he wasn’t happy at all to hear one of them had handed Jisung a drink. “He spiked your drink.” It was the only logical sollution, especially as Jisung had started feeling bad almost immediately after. His eyes went wide, realising now why Hojun had wanted Jisung to go with him. All the scenarios of what could have happened to his soulmate rushed through his head in almost a second, each of them worse than the last.
Minho grabbed Jisung’s hand and squeezed it, relief washing over him knowing Jisung was safe. He quickly texted Chan, knowing the boy had the highest alcohol tolerance and would be the most sober and responsible one there. He didn’t want someone else to potentially fall victim because they didn’t have someone to protect them like Jisung does, so he passed on the message to let everyone there know.
“C-Can you undress me, hyung? This sweater is kind of hot… ‘nd… the chains on m’pants… suck… in bed.” Jisung watched Minho through lidded eyes, who simply nodded. He went to the boys’ closet and picked out a simple white tshirt for his pyjama. “You want to wear bottoms?” He asked, but Jisung told him no. So, he returned to the boy and took of his pants. He moved the blankets over Jisung’s lower area, not wanting it to potentially be awkward. He struggled for a moment with the sweater, having to keep the limp boy up as well as pull it over his head. His eyes glanced towards the boys’ arms automatically and he felt a pang of pain wash through him. There were reasonably fresh wounds, but he decided now was definitely not the time to mention them. He didn’t even know if Jisung would be able to give him a clear answer either.
He pulled the shirt over Jisung’s head, the boy looking him straight in the eyes. Suddenly, tears started rolling down his cheeks, sending worry through Minho’s body.
“W-What’s wrong? Does something hurt?” He asked as he placed Jisung down on bed. “I-I wasn’… s’pposed to… to get so drunk! I… I wanted to get tipsy ‘n… ‘n have fun… with you…”
“But we still had fun, Sungie.”
“I ment fun in bed.” The younger mumbled, yet it sounded the most sober out of everything he had said since they’d entered his house. Minho’s eyes widened and his mouth formed a small ‘o’ shape. His ears and cheeks went red, glad the boy beneath him had his eyes closed.
“If you really want to do that, with me, we can always do it another time when we’re not drunk. Or tipsy.”
“B-But I’on know if… if I have the confidence then!” Jisung started wailing, making Minho almost at a loss for words. “I don’t know if it’s the alcohol talking or you, so I’ll assume it’s you. Jisung, I would much rather have sex with you when we’re 100% sober than when we’re drunk. Now, lets sleep okay? You literally got drugged and I don’t know what to do with what. It’s good I made you chug that water.”
“D-Don’t you think i-it’s best if I puke it out?” The younger spoke quietly, still sniffling from the sudden crying session. Minho’s eyes widened, deciding it was indeed the best thing to probably do. He awkwardly helped Jisung to the other side of the hallway and into the bathroom, before placing the younger down on the ground in front of the toilet. Minho hesitated for a moment, not sure how to go about it and besides that, he didn’t handle puke too well. Jisung seemed to notice his deep expression, slowly able to reach his hand to his mouth. “Just w-wait outside hyungie.” Minho didn’t hesitate, nodding quickly as a response before walking back into the hallway. He left the door open and could hear everything. So, when it became quiet he came back in and flushed the toilet for a shaking Jisung, who had lost all potential energy he had left. Minho brushed Jisung’s teeth, knowing the gnarly taste of vomit was something no one liked to keep in their mouths, before finishing up and carrying the younger back to his bed. He laid him down as he tucked the boy in, intending to leave him to sleep on his own.
“Will you stay in bed with me?” Jisung’s voice was barely above a whisper at this point, the drowsiness from the alcohol, the puking as well as the remnants of the drugs now starting to take it’s full effect as the boy’s breathing slowed down. “If you want me to… If sober Jisung, would want me to.” Minho said.
“Any Jisung would want you to.”
And so Minho grabbed one of Jisung’s shirts as well, quickly changing clothes before climbing into bed next to the boy. Jisung had already fallen into a deep slumber and the alcohol in Minho’s body made him follow not that far after.

I highkey like this chapter, even if Jisung got drugged LOL. (4.2 words btw… my longest chapter ever) (UPDATE: 5K words now lmao)
Also, don’t ever peer pressure someone into drinking or doing ANYTHING they’re not comfortable with! If someone says no once, don’t press further and let them do whatever they want. Them saying no to not doing it themselves doesn’t mean you can’t drink either. ALLOWING SOMEONE TO SAY NO = SEXIER THAN HAN JISUNG! (sorry baby, it’s true)
