In any other circumstance, Jisung would’ve been stressed all throughout exam week. Yet he couldn’t help but feel like he was floating. The boys had decided to keep their relationship a secret from everyone for at least a little bit, but of course they couldn’t stop doing small things that made everyone suspicious. They would almost contantly hold hands under the table as they would study, or Jisung would sit down on Minho’s lap from time to time. No one thought they were actually dating for the exception of Changbin, but he decided to be a good friend and not force a confession out of his friends. He knew they would tell them whenever they wanted to. It didn’t keep him from smirking and winking at the two lovebirds, though.
It was now Friday and they had all finished up their exams. Felix and Chan would be leaving for Australia the following day, so everyone decided to head to a cafe and have some drinks to celebrate the end of their stressful week, as well as the upcoming holidays. Everyone apart from Minho and Jisung would be spending their holidays out of town with their families —either on holidays or in their own homes, leaving everyone scattered for the short time.
“I’m so glad we’re done, I can literally feel the tension in my neck from all this thinking!” Hyunjin exclaimed as he took a bite from his apple pie.
“I can massage your neck later, if you want?” Jeongin said, earning a big hug from his boyfriend. “Can you give me one too, then? I’m literally dying.” Seungmin joked, earning a playful glare from Hyunjin as Jeongin obliviously agreed to the joke.
“At least we get to spend 2 full weeks doing absolutely nothing!” Felix said happily, taking a sip of his hot choco. “It’s gonna be weird to suddenly be in summer, but honestly I don’t mind escaping the cold weather for a bit.” Chan said and Felix agreed. They earned a groan from Changbin, who said he too wanted to enjoy some warmth.
“Winter hasn’t even really started yet, Binnie. You got at least 2 more months ahead of you.” Jisung chuckled, watching his best friends’ face fall. “Please, no.” The boy whispered, pretending to be frightened. It earned him a laugh from everyone at the table. “So, are you guys going to introduce each other to your parents or what?” Jeongin asked the aussies, munching happily on a piece of Hyunjin’s apple pie.
“We probably will, right Chan? We don’t get to go home often, so we’d like to take the opportunity whilst we have it.” Felix beamed as he looked over at his boyfriend. Unlike Minho and Jisung, the two blonds had gotten together after Chan had brought a drunk Felix back home. It was almost the same story as the secret lovebirds, only Felix didn’t get drugged and the two decided to share it with the group immediately. “Yeah, we’ll definitely hang out a bit, thankfully we’re both from Sydney so we’re also taking the same plane home!”
“Sounds great, glad that you won’t need to miss each other for too long when you’re still all lovey dovey.” Seungmin said, earning a nod from their oldest friend.
“Speaking of lovey dovey,” Felix suddenly started, drawing everyone’s attention to the two boys who sat cuddled up against one another, pressed against the wall tightly. “What’re you two up to?” He asked. Jisung had just taken a bite of his cheesecake, looking up with his stuffed cheeks. Minho chuckled and just shrugged.
“Nothing’s up except for the ceiling, why?” He saw Hyunjin dramatically roll his eyes before the said boy spoke up.
“Oh come on, you two have literally been like ass on glue. What’s the tea, sis?”
“It’s mint tea, actually.” Minho replied with a smirk as he took a sip from his mug, earning more eye rolls, even from his boyfriend. Before he could be interrupted, he spoke up again. “And there’s nothing, really. Jisung had just been in a good mood, who am I to not let this boy be happy?” Jisung nodded quickly, going along with whatever Minho was saying. He was way too invested in the taste of his cheesecake to even bother listening.
“I would be cuddly with Binnie, but he decided to sit on the opposite side of me, so Minho is my victim now.”
“Minho?” Seungmin said, voice laced with surprise. “Where’s the respect of these youngsters nowadays, honestly?” He gasped, apparently having learnt how to be dramatic from Hyunjin. “Like I said, he is my victim. No need to show respect there.” A chuckle was heard coming from Changbin, all boys glancing over towards him. “What? I think it’s funny how Jisung has Minho hyung wrapped around his finger, that’s all.”
“Some would call that ‘whipped‘, I do believe.” Chan said, Minho giving the older a slight push as he was sitting next to him. “You’re not wrong, but don’t expose me like this.” They chatted for a about an hour longer, some re-ordering drinks just so they wouldn’t get kicked out. Ultimately though, it was time for the boys to head home and say goodbye to one another for the time being.
“So, you two!” Hyunjin said loudly as the boys stood in front of the cafe, finger pointing in the direction of the two Aussies. “Take care of one another over there in the land of the koalas and kangaroos!” “And have a safe flight.” Jeongin added, smile bright.
“Thanks guys, you all take care as well. I hope you all have lovely holidays.” Chan responded, a bright smile on his face. The eight of them exchanged hugs, even Jisung hugging each one of them. His brain wouldn’t allow itself to admit he was growing closer to them all, but that didn’t stop it from happening.Â
As Minho, Changbin and Jisung were finally with just the three of them, walking back in the direction of their homes, Changbin finally spoke up. “So…” he just started, watching the two males turn to him. Their hands were intertwined, fighting off the chilly December air. “So…?” Jisung responded, pretending to be oblivious. “Oh nothing, just wondering why my hand isn’t being held.” Changbin pouted, pretending to be hurt. Jisung let out a chuckle, about to respond before Minho beat him to it.
“You can come walk next to me and I’ll hold yours, if that’s what you want?” A smirk was plastered on his face as he watched Changbin pretend to be disgusted. “Oh hell no! If I am holding any hand, it would be Sungies.'”
“Well… you know though, right Binnie? I don’t think we have to state the obvious?” Jisung felt his cheeks turn a light shade of pink, suddenly becoming very shy. He did grab onto Changbin’s hand, his best friend wiggling his head as he smiled happily. “Well of course I know, but I kind of need confirmation right? Can’t actually know until I’m told.”
“Okay… true…” Jisung glanced over at Minho, silently asking for permission to let Changbin in on their little secret. The elder nodded, giving his boyfriend a fond smile in return. “We are dating, yes. B-But please don’t go telling anyone.” Two couple watched as their friend let out a loud squeel, hands waving excitedly before their eyes.
“Oh my god that is so so so incredibly cute I can’t believe this congrats oh my god this is adorable!” Changbin said in one breath, seeming like he was rapping an impromptu song on the spot. “Oh and don’t worry, I wouldn’t expose you guys. It’s not my relationship anyway! But I’m glad you two finally grew the balls to confess! Who asked who?! Spare me gross details, though.”
“Jisung asked me.” Minho said with a proud smile, looking down at the mentioned boy. Changbin let out a loud gasp, brown eyes sparkling with surprise. “No fucking way, Han Jisung!?”
“You make it sound like I’m inept to do anything, Binnie. Besides, I asked because Minho was giving me this bigass monologue about how I’m his sun… which was really cute to be honest.” Jisung muttered the last part, both boys on either side not able to hear it. “A-Anyways, it made me all giddy and I thought to myself ‘if this boy can say all this without meaning any of it, the world has no hope for love’. So I asked.” Minho laughed loudly, slowing their pace as they reached the intersection that led them to their seperate homes. All boys came to a halt, continueing their conversation just a tad bit longer.
“Well, if you hadn’t asked right there I don’t think I would have thought I had a chance with you. I want to take it at your pace, so if you weren’t ready then I wouldn’t have asked… At least, I don’t think.”
“Bruh, can anyone find me a Lee Minho?! What the fuck!” Changbin exclaimed loudly, earning some glances from the people passing them.
“Maybe if you dated boys. I don’t think Minho is a female name.” Jisung snickered, earning an eyeroll from his best friend.
“You know what I mean. Now then, loverboys. Kiss each other goodbye or something, we got to go this way and even though you two are really cute like this, my toes are starting to fucking freeze.”
“Fine, fine.” Jisung groaned and turned to face Minho, letting go of Changbin’s hand whilst doing so. The older leant in and their lips touched for a brief moment, a quick peck being exchanged. They didn’t really like to display any romantic gestures in public other than holding hands, but a goodbye kiss was something they had done every time until now. “I’ll see you on Tuesday then, yeah? If you need me I’m just a call away, okay baby?”
“Yes Minnie.”
“Okay, text me when you’ve made it home.”
“You too!” They let go of each others’ hands, both stepping away from one another. “What about me? Don’t you want to know if I made it safely?” Jisung laughed loudly as he watched Changbin dramatically raise his hand to his forehead, pretending he would faint. “If Minnie made it home safely, I’m sure you will have too.”
“Not true! What if I stumble on the hallway of my floor and break my ankle in front of my apartment!?”
“Bin…. you dramatic hoe. I’m starting to think you’ve been hanging out with Hyunjin too much. Now, I really got to go. Bye Minnie, bye Binnie!”
“Ha ha alright, see you Sungie!”
“Bye babe.”
It was the following Friday. Jisung had been staying over at Minho’s apartment for the past couple of days. The younger had brought over some Christmas decorations, the two hanging them up around the small one bedroom apartment. They had to make sure Doori wouldn’t attempt to climb into them, which to Jisung’s surprise had gone smoother than he had initially expected. Minho on the other hand pretended he believed he was a cat whisperer whenever Jisung was amazed by how well Doori listened to Minho.
“You got to do skskskskskks sounds, cats like that Min,”
‘No we don’t, don’t you dare.’
Jisung thankfully had gotten used to it and didn’t think much of it either way. Right now. He was cuddled up to Minho on the couch which they did a lot, Doori snuggling on his lap as well. The older was brushing his hand through Jisung’s newly dyed black hair, the softness surprisingly not gone afterwards.
“Mmm… Minho?” Jisung mumbled, his body feeling fuzzy becauss of the aforementioned touches he was receiving from his boyfriend. “Yes, Sungie?”
“Can we go to the mall today? For Christmas shopping? I want go get you and Binnie something. I feel like it won’t be as busy today as it would be during the weekend…” Minho really didn’t want to leave the comfort of his cozy apartment, nor the cuddling he was currently doing with the younger. However, he knew that Jisung prefered going out on days where it wasn’t as busy. His anxiety was always lower if there were fewer people around.
“Sure then, lets go shopping baby.”
“Yay, I hope I can find something nice for you and Binnie.”
‘I hope I can find something nice for you.’

I was initially going to put the shopping in this chapter too, but my mental health ain’t it right now yet I felt guilty for not uploading. Will try to do better next time.
Hope you enjoyed still.
Also, as someone who ults Jisung (and only has one ult); All In made me forget how to breath. Also, Chan stans you good? Felix stans? Minho stans? Fucking hell we all died.
