For those of you that forgot,Shafiq is the former lover of Malik.

Shafiq’s POV
“Have you been keeping tabs on my man?” I ask my loyal servant
“Yes sire,as you ordered” he replied.
“What has he been up to?” I ask
I see him hesitating,
“Speak up!” I order him
“Am afraid its not good news” he says fearfully.
“Just say it” I say with gritted teeth
“His highness has been seen with a lover recently” he says
“That’s not news,Malik has always been a man of passion” I reply lazily
“That maybe sire but this time its different, he seeks him out,they spend nights together, the sire pampers him and they even go horse riding and sightseeing, I fear its some sort of courtship” my loyal servants says

“What!!!!!! Impossible! Malik doesn’t incline towards such romanticism,he has always taken a lover and that’s it!” I shout
“You are absolutely right, sire” my servant adds
“Who is this person? Who dares to snatch Malik from me? Though Malik gallivants with other men,they are all aware that he is mine! I am his,only I deserve to be by his side as Prince! I say in so much rage
“He is always seen with Yasin,sire” my servant replies
“Yasin! Yasin the slave? Is this man even royalty or nobility? I sneer
“Am not sure sire” my servant says
“Go on, what are you waiting for? Find out who he is.

A few hours later………………

As I seat sipping wine, I contempl ate what my servant had told me.
Whatever he said is out of character for Malik. He wasn’t necessarily romantic, well let’s see who this competition is.
“Come in” I tell my servant as I see him hovering at the door
“Yes, sire” he says and enters
“Well, what did you find out?” I ask him
“He is called Ayan and he was sent as a gift to his highness,he is his personal slave.” He informs
“A slave you say! A filthy slave can’t replace me. I will have him dealt with. I need to get him out of my way. What will the people say? Me? A soldier of noble blood bested by a slave! Never!

“You are absolutely right sire” I confirm.
“Are you sure about this information? Who was your source?
“I got the information out of Yasin” he replies
“Oooh,your little plaything” I reply
“Yes,he is my lover” he says
“Well I better solve this issue with haste” I conclude.
I lay down my plans for this ursuper.
No one is taking my place by Malik.
