Ayan’s POV
She slowly comes towards me,arms outstretched,
“My beloved son,you have returned, I thought I lost you,I mourned for you,I wept for days,I was inconsolable” Princess Sharifa says

“Princess Sharifa is my mother? But how? Am a slave! I thought I was born in Jalen” I think rapidly

“But how?” I ask shocked
Sharifa hugs me,tears still running down her face.

I look at the Queen and she is weeping too,holding Yasin and crying.

Finally, Fazad the Vizier makes everyone sit down and the king explains everything. Sharifa is holding onto me so tightly she won’t let me go.

“Years ago,the prince of Ramah was kidnapped, he was nothing but a little child. We searched for him in vain! Two months later,my sister the princess was pregnant and had labor pains in the desert,there was a sandstorm and she was lost to us. She came to consciousness and her rescuers told her she gave birth but her son died. She returned home in utter grief. Today when we saw you and Yasin,we were in utter shock!!!! The resemblance between Yasin and my father the late king is undeniable! And you Ayan resemble my sister.
” the king explains

“You’re home” my son Sharifa says
Yasin is kneeling down crying too.
The joy of knowing that you have a family is the greatest dream of a slave. I’ve always asked myself if I have a mother,did she love me? Do I have siblings?
“You’re…… my…my mother?” I ask the princess
“Yes,I am,my little son” she says holding me to her chest.
“And am your father Ayan,welcome home son” the Vizier says
“And our prince is Yasin,our lost son” The king says
Emotions are high,shock, happiness, disbelief but joy takes it all.
I have a mother,I keep looking at her and wonder why I didn’t see it sooner. We have the same eyes and skin color.
“Look at us Ayan! We are royalty, who knew I would ever be a prince and you too,we are cousins Ayan” Yasin says teary eyed. I went to him and hugged him.
Falcon came to me and hugged me.
“I think there was a big conspiracy that took place twenty years ago!” Falcon says
“Yes,you’re right, two Prince’s disappeared at almost the same time,we looked for them but we met dead ends.” Vizier Fazad says
“We need to get to the bottom of this,but for now,let’s keep the good news to ourselves, in the family.
“Yes” everyone agrees.

Falcon’s POV
Finally my Ayan has a family! Who knew he would turn out to be a Prince of Ramah! I always saw the longing and yearning in his eyes when he saw children with their parents.

Here I am lying in bed with the man I fell in love,hoping it will last forever. War looms ahead,we have to face the traitors of the kingdom and restore Jalen to its glory. But with Ayan by my side,I know it will be fine.
“Hey,stop thinking!” Ayan says
“Yes,your highness” I reply leaning in to kiss him.
He kisses me back softly and snuggles on my chest,
“I still can’t believe it” he says
“Well you better, my consort” I reply
He looks down shyly and blushes
“When are you marrying me,handsome” he whispers
“You really want to get married, huh? I promise I’ll make an honest man of you, I’ve already stolen your virtue,so many times over!” I say
“Ooh! Shut up! Am not a simpering virgin” he replies
“Really, I remember the first time…..” I try to say but Ayan plants his lips on mine and kisses the hell out of me.
“Woow” I say breathless
He smirks and grabs my head for more. I give in to him because from tomorrow, it’s going to be war.
