As he approached the main door, a pair of hands grabbed his wrists, pulling him back into the shadows. Ravi’s heart stopped as he turned to find the watchman from the previous night, his greasy smile even wider than before.
“Ravi Sahab,” he cooed, his eyes glinting with something that Ravi didn’t dare to name. “You look so…beautiful.”
Panic set in, the watchman’s grip tightening as he pulled Ravi closer.
“What do you want?” Ravi choked out, his voice high-pitched and desperate.
The watchman leaned in, his breath reeking of alcohol and stale tobacco.
“Just one little kiss, Ravi Sahab,” he murmured, his eyes gleaming with a hunger that sent a cold shiver down Ravi’s spine. “That’s all I ask for.”
Ravi’s eyes widened in horror, his heart racing. He’d never kissed anyone, not even when he’d been Urmila.
But the watchman’s grip was ironclad, and the fear of what could happen if he didn’t comply was too great.
With trembling hands, Ravi reached up to cup the man’s stubbly cheeks, his mind racing for a way out.
The watchman leaned in, his breath a noxious cloud that made Ravi’s stomach churn. Ravi closed his eyes, bracing himself for the inevitable.
The man’s dry, cracked lips met his own, the taste of his mouth like a dirty ashtray. He forced his tongue between Ravi’s teeth, the sensation making Ravi’s skin crawl.
Ravi felt himself gagging, his body revolting against the violation, but he managed to keep his composure, his mind racing for a way to escape.
The watchman’s grip tightened, his hands moving up to Ravi’s neck, his thumbs pressing into the soft flesh beneath his jawline.
Ravi’s eyes watered, the pain and fear making it difficult to think. The man’s tongue explored his mouth, a disgusting dance that seemed to last an eternity.
Ravi’s heart hammered against his ribcage, his chest tightening with each breath. The pressure grew, cutting off his air supply, and he knew he had to act.
Summoning every ounce of strength he had, Ravi brought his knee up sharply between the watchman’s legs.
The man yelped in pain, releasing his grip just enough for Ravi to push him away. He stumbled back, the shock and pain evident in his eyes. Ravi didn’t wait for the watchman to recover;
he spun on his heels and sprinted towards the safety of the street, the sound of his heels echoing in the quiet night.
He didn’t dare look back until he reached the line of cabs waiting for passengers.
Panting heavily, he threw open the door of the first one, his heart racing as he slammed it shut behind him.
“Drive,” he ordered the driver, his voice shaking with fear and adrenaline.
The car screeched away from the curb, leaving the watchman standing in the shadows, nursing his bruised ego.
The driver glanced at him through the rearview mirror, his eyes lingering on Ravi’s exposed cleavage. Ravi felt a fresh wave of panic, but there was no turning back now. The need to get to Vivek’s apartment, to face the horror of what was to come, was stronger than his fear of the unknown. He leaned back into the seat, trying to compose himself as the city lights streaked by outside.
The driver’s eyes darted back and forth between the road and Ravi’s chest, his lecherous gaze making Ravi’s skin crawl.
“How much for a night with you, sweetie?” the man asked, his voice a gravelly rasp.
Ravi’s heart sank—he’d been mistaken for a streetwalker. He knew he should be offended, but the fear of his secret being discovered was a more pressing concern.
“I’m not that kind of girl,” Ravi replied, his voice a forced purr, trying to play along without revealing his true identity.
He knew the dangers of the streets all too well, and the last thing he needed was the driver to become suspicious.
“Now, if you could just keep your eyes on the road, I’d appreciate it.”
The driver chuckled, his eyes never leaving the mirror.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart,” he said, his voice thick with lust.”I’ll get you to your destination safe and sound.”
His hand slid to his crotch, adjusting his erection as he drove, his gaze flickering back to Ravi’s chest.
Ravi felt his stomach turn, the taste of the watchman’s kiss still fresh on his lips. He forced a smile, trying to play the part of the seductress he’d become all too accustomed to.
“Just drive,” he purred, his voice low and sultry, hoping to keep the driver’s attention on the road.
The last thing he needed was an accident, or worse, to be outed before reaching Vivek’s apartment.
Ravi paid the driver, slipping him a generous tip to keep his mouth shut. As he stepped out, the driver leaned over to whisper,
“Call me if you ever change your mind, Apsara.” Ravi nodded, his cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and anger. He’d never felt so objectified, not even when dressed as Urmila.
The sound of the apartment complex gate closing behind him was a final reminder of the world he was entering.
He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was to come. Vivek’s apartment was on the third floor, and as Ravi climbed the stairs, the weight of his decision grew heavier with each step.
His heart thundered in his chest, his heels echoing through the deserted hallway.
