I Became An Omega Wife Of Protagonist’s Big Brother CH: 10

A+ A-

Chandra felt a mix of confusion and desire swirling within him. Ever since he had witnessed the sight of Aryan’s just in a towel. He was so conscious of the man that he couldn’t look him in the eyes at breakfast. All those memories of their passionate moments together were a little obscure, Aryan held a magnetic pull on him. Aryan had never touched him intimately unless Chandra was in heat.

The kindness of Aryan was strange; first he talked to him in a cold tone, but when Chandra had phoned the man for two million for the store, Aryan had given him without asking what he was buying. Or maybe two millions are nothing for him when he was the top richest man in India.

“We have arrived,” Rohini’s voice pulled him out of the thoughts. She pulled the car outside Shivam’s school parking lot.

Chandra stepped out of the car, telling Rohini to wait inside.

To enter the school security, Chandra used the card that Aryan handed him. There were other parents in the schoolyard, waiting for their children.

“Hi,” a guy approached Chandra. The guy was two or three inches taller than him, those short hair of his made Chandra feel envious. Sometimes, he missed his short hair, as he wouldn’t be bothered by the loose strands over his face.

“Hi?” Chandra asked.

“Never saw you before here.”

Chandra told him it was his first time to take his son. Chandra came to know his name was Bhavik. And it turned out he was Shivam’s friend Jay’s mother. The surprise was apparent on his face when he learned the fact Chandra was Shivam’s mother. Chandra’s impression was terrible on others, so he couldn’t blame Bhavik thinking that Chandra was a terrible mother who gave no attention to his son.

After waiting for five minutes, the school bell rang, announcing that the children were free to go home.

Every child in the uniform, which made it hard for Chandra to find Shivam. Children would go to their parents. And after a minute, his eyes found Shivam coming through the entrance with his friend.

“There they are,” Bhavik said, pointing over two kids.

Chandra waved his hand at him with a smile and his lips also broke into a smile. Shivam was surprised and his eyes were twinkling seeing him in his school.

“How was your school?” Chandra took Shivam’s school bag

“It was good.”

“Are you Shivam’s mommy?” the little guy asked, holding his mother’s hand.

Chandra chuckled. “Yes, and you must be Jay, right?”

Jay nodded and greeted him with Namaste. “You are so beautiful.”

“I’m not beautiful,” Chandra said. “I’m handsome, just like you guys.”

Both of the kids giggled and Bhavik laughed, though Chandra was serious about what he said.

Later, they parted with a pleasant smile.

“Where are we going?” Shivam asked him in the car.

“I’m hungry, let’s eat something on the way,” Chandra replied.

“Have you decided yet?” Chandra asked Shivam as they held the menus. They were in a local restaurant.

The little boy, sitting across from Chandra, shook his head.

“How about chole bhature?”

“Okay.”

Chandra called the waiter and placed their orders.

As the waiter left, Shivam asked, “Something good happened to you.”

Chandra grinned. “Yep, something very good happened to me,” he said, revealing the reason for his happiness, “I’m finally going to open my shoe store Chamatkar and I can make as many shoes as I want and sell them as well.”

Shivam didn’t look surprised, but seemed jovial.

“What does Chamatkar mean?”

“It means. . .” Chandra trailed off and then his lips curved into a smile as he explained the meaning of Chamatkar to Shivam, “It means . . . when you are wishing for something with all your heart, but it seems impossible to happen. But the universe defies its law and gives you that grateful gift you wished for—And making shoes and having my own store isn’t less than a Chamatkar . . .  or as you may know, that word in English as a miracle.”

“Then you’re living with us is also a Chamatkar,” Shivam remarked. “. . . As I wished us to live together.”

“Yes,” Chandra chuckled. “And you are also Chamatkar in my life, Shiva.” Chandra made a grimaced face and shook his head as he went on, “I wouldn’t have liked this world much if It wasn’t for you being here.”

“Then why didn’t you live with us before?” Shivam asked, hesitantly and curiously.

“Huh?. . .because. . . you know—” Chandra stumbled over his words like a broken tape recorder. “I was studying.” He hoped the little boy would buy his lie. After all, that’s what Aryan would tell the boy. “But now, I will never leave you.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

The food came on the table before they started to dig in. Shivam said, “Is Papa also Chamatkar in your life?”

The cheeks of Chandra turned crimson red and he responded to the kid quietly, “Uh-haan.”

When they came out of the restaurant, Rohini went to bring the car. Chandra’s phone rang, it was from his mother, who was asking about him and what he was doing, or if he hadn’t still gone for wedding shopping for which he answered that he’d not.

While Shivam noticed a small, brown puppy in the middle of the street. It wasn’t moving from its place. Before the puppy could be hit by any vehicle, his small feet propelled him towards getting him out of the road.

As Chandra ended the call, he took a notice that Shivam wasn’t with him. His anxiously eyes flitted on the road, Shivam going in the middle of the street toward a puppy. While a car was heading in his direction.

“Shiva!” Chandra screamed. Instinctively, his feet rushed to Shivam. And he swiftly scooped up the little boy into his arms tightly, protecting like a shield to save him from something happening.

Adrenaline flowed through his body, causing his eyelids to firmly shut as he waiting for something to happen. But nothing seemed to happen,

The voice of Shivam, soft and shaky, reached Chandra’s ears. And Chandra opened his eyes and met Shivam’s eyes that were filled with concerned and fear. Chandra checked Shivam’s legs and hands. The little boy was alright, and in one piece, that put him at ease, yet his heart didn’t seem to keep down.

A howling sound of the car kept coming, but at this moment, Chandra didn’t give a damn about it.

“Madam, you okay,” Rohini said breathlessly.

Chandra told her to hold Shivam while Chandra stood up on his feet.

“Fuck.” Chandra cried painfully, he seemed to have sprained ankle
