The moment his husband pressed his lips to Chandra’s. Everything in the world drowned out at the warm feeling of his tender and soft. Heat curling down Chandra’s spine. As he took a shaky breath and Aryan stole it with a need. Chandra’s lips moved to kiss him. It’s not like they hadn’t kissed before, but those kisses rose from their carnal desires, surging through their bodies when they would have sex. But this kiss, was not only combined with their lust-there was more in it. It was a need of their heart that was anxious for each other.
Chandra held his breath when Aryan drew back from the soft kiss, his thumb fondling the corner of his lips, staring at the face with the fervent gaze that anguished Chandra with yearning.
“I should probably clean this,” Chandra gasped, his wobbly voice barely audible over the thumping of his heartbeat.
Aryan let out a chuckle. “It’s my mess. I will do it.” The hand of his drifted from Chandra’s lips, over his face, holding gently. “You must be tired already. Go to sleep for today.”
“I’m not tired,” Chandra said quickly . . . too quickly.
An amused smile touched Aryan’s lips as if he had decoded the meaning behind his words.
Heat bloomed on his cheeks. Although Chandra was just articulating the truth. Sure, after his long day, he had come with drowsiness that he wanted to crush on the bed more than anything else. But when Aryan came and began to have a conversation with him, he didn’t want the night to come to an end. And all the sleep in him evaporated after their kiss. He didn’t think that he would be able to get any sleep.
“Let me clean this mess first,” Aryan spoke. There was an urgency in his voice.
A low nod came as a response from Chandra, and he stood when Aryan rose to his feet.
“Mommy, Papa . . .” Shivam’s groggy voice came from the entrance of the kitchen. His sleepy eyes whirled to look at the mess on the floor and then his head raised upward and peered up at his parents.
“What happened?”
Instead of letting Aryan answered, Chandra replied,
“I told your papa that I made his shoes,” Chandra’s eyes glinted with mischief and with a heavy dramatic sigh, he continued, “And unfortunately, your papa’s surprise cost us a very pretty tea cup.”
A sweet giggle of Shivam resonated in the place. Chandra caught a glimpse from the corner of his eyes when Aryan whizzed a chuckle, pitching a sensual glance in Chandra’s direction, causing his inside to grow hot and he dashed his eyes back at Shivam.
“So, sir, are you thirsty, hungry, or did you have any nightmares?” Chandra asked, shooting him the questions, subsiding the hot wave rippling through him.
“I am thirsty.”
“Let me get the water for you,” Chandra said.
Aryan began to clean the mess while Chandra got the water for Shivam, took a glass from the drawer, and filled the glass with the water from the RO water purifier.
Chandra bent down on the front of the boy as he handed him the water. As the little guy drank the water, Chandra stroked his head with his touch. He could look at the little guy all day and couldn’t get bored.
After Shivam handed him the glass, Chandra with his thumb rubbing the drop edge of those small lips.
“I am sorry,” Shivam said.
“Sorry?” Chandra arched his brow. Shouldn’t he say thank you?
Confused, Chandra asked, “For what are you saying sorry?”
A hesitation appeared on the little guy’s face.
For some help, Chandra glanced up at Aryan, who stood behind him, watching them after cleaning the mess. His husband gave him a shrug. Not getting any help from his husband, Chandra swivelled his gaze at his son.
The eyes of his son were downward at his dressing feet. Chandra grasped that he felt guilty for causing him to sprain the ankle.
Shivam said, his voice low. “I’m sorry, you got hurt because of me.”
“Shiva.” Chandra shifted a hand to cradle the boy’s smooth face like butter. And gently, with the forefinger Chandra underneath the little boy’s chin, he prompted his son to look at him.
The boy’s eyes were anxious, yet drowsiness lingered.
“It’s alright. I forgive you.” Chandra smiled at the child. He blinked at him. “But no matter how busy I am, if you want something, just tell me. Never do something like this again, okay?”
“O-okay.” Shivam yawned, sleep was slipping in his body again. After asking for forgiveness, the boy felt relaxed.
Chandra’s palm drifted behind the neck of Shivam, letting the head of the boy fall on his own shoulder.
“Now, go to sleep and have a sweet dream, bachha,” Chandra said in the softest tone, caressing his head with his tender touch.
“May w-we all sleep together, again,” Shivam mumbled against the crook of Chandra’s neck.
“I don’t see, why not.” Chandra smiled. And he felt Shivam drifting to sleep again in a second.
Taking the boy in arms, Chandra was about to stand, but Aryan rushed to him. “I will take him,” The man said.
Chandra gave him a look.
“Don’t forget about your ankle,” Aryan explained.
“I forgot.” Chandra gave a smile, and he let go of the little sleepy head from his hold into his father’s grasp.
“You are great with him,” Aryan said as Shivam slept in his father’s arms.
“I’m his mother and that’s what I was being.” Chandra replied, looking at the boy.
Chandra Captured his husband’s eyes, which were fixed at him intently as if those words of Chandra were most beautiful words in the whole universe.
“What?” A brow raised of Chandra.
With a shake of his head, Aryan just gave him a smile and turned on his heel toward the room.
Chandra’s feet fell behind his husband into the room. Aryan laid Shivam on the bed and then his eyes half opened.
“M-mommy.” His anxious voice demanded his mother’s presence.
“I’m here,” Chandra said, getting on the bed next to him. And Shivam closed his eyes, grasping Chandra’s finger tightly.
And while Chandra propped his head against the pillow with his free hand began to pat the head of Shivam softly.
Chandra spun his head to glance at his husband, standing on the next of the bed. The man’s eyes looked defeated and with a hint of resentment as he watched his son clutching on Chandra’s finger.
“Aren’t you going to your side of the bed? Shivam wants us to sleep together,” Chandra said to his husband, who still hadn’t moved from his place. It was his son’s demand and Chandra isn’t going to disappoint him.
Aryan made a humming sound and his strides shifted to the bed’s other side, laying on the other side with Shivam.
“And please, don’t forget to switch off the lights,” Chandra said.
Aryan obliged with the request of his wife and turned the lights on except the dimming one.
And in a few minutes, exhausted, without realising, Chandra drifted into slumber next to his son while patting him.

A/n; I’m sorry for this late update. If I had time, I would have updated on time, but again, no, I don’t have time.. . I am a crazy mess with barely any sleep. And to build the plot to move the story forward, it surely takes time, which I don’t have. But once I’m done with my book editing, I swear I will work on this book, and we are nearly close to the end of this omega-wife book (with just a few chapters).
And I think I can manage to update the next chapter this weekend. If not, I will let you for certain.
And thank you so much, giving this book a lot of love. You are the best guy since you are being crazy patient with me, who keeps procrastinating things. No kidding before all this went down, I thought of myself as a punctual person, but as you can see, I seem to have mastery in procrastinating things. Yep! Nothing to be proud of.
And sorry for not being able to reply to all of your comments, but know this, I am reading all your comments and I appreciate each and every word of yours, giving me encouragement. Thank you so much.
Love, a lot of love from Misty.
