I Became An Omega Wife Of Protagonist’s Big Brother CH: 15

A+ A-

After the meeting with Mr Gupta, who for mutual benefit agreed to provide funds for their project, Aryan walked out along with Siddharth and his executive secretary, Manaas, from a reserved room of the restaurant in a mall.

Aryan’s eyes shifted to a jewelry store in the mall.

“You both go. I will just come back,” Aryan said, not waiting for their response, his feet moving toward the door of the store automatically as he thought of something to buy for Chandra.

His eyes paused at two identical necklaces together in case in the showcase. They were stunning with their design dangling half moons on the golden chain adorned with tiny diamonds. But why would there be two identical necklaces? Then Aryan realized they weren’t necklaces but Payal. He had seen something like these on Chandra’s legs on their wedding night, adorning his ankles.

“Would you like to see them, sir?” A woman, the manager of the store, approached Aryan

He didn’t respond. His wife didn’t seem to fancy accessories other than the hoops in his ears, so he doubted Chandra would wear them. But the woman already took out the case. When she gave them out of the case, Aryan took them in his hand and his eyes watched the pair of anklets. His mind imagined these anklets in those bare, beautiful legs.

There is no question they would look more stunning in his wife’s ankles.

Aryan couldn’t help but smile.

“Sir, these anklets are exclusive. There is not another pair like this in the world. The designer made them as a symbol of eternal love—and your wife would absolutely adore them,” the woman said with a pleasant smile.

“I will purchase them,” Aryan said.

“Where is Manaas?” Aryan asked in the parking lot outside of the mall, carrying a bag in his hand.

“I told him to go ahead. I will drive you.” Sid shrugged his shoulders and got into the driving seat.

“What were you doing in the jewelry store?” Sid asked in a suspicious tone as soon as he got into the car.

“Bought Payal,” Aryan responded.

“For your mistress?”

Even though Aryan had never confided anything too personal, his friend was aware of the strain in his marriage. And Sid thinks that he would probably end up having a mistress one day, because half of the world is going there to find their solace.

“Don’t make foolish jokes.”

“Since the morning, you’re smiling to yourself. Of course I am gonna doubt you.” Sid asked, his tone reeking of probing.

Aryan’s mind was consumed with thoughts of Chandra. In a nutshell, he didn’t feel like his usual self anymore. He found it hard to concentrate on his work. Even in the meeting, he couldn’t zero in on when Chandra keeps showing up in his mind. The previous night, the way his soft lips felt against his own lips. They had done more than just a kiss before. A desire that came from being attracted to the omega physically. . . but none of that touch was as pure—or innocent as that kiss.

“Who did you buy this for?” Sid went on, pulling the car on the road.

“For Chandra,” Aryan stated. It was rare for Aryan to say the name of his wife. Since before their relationship hadn’t been the type where they would acknowledge each other’s presence. But now, his wife’s name on his lips felt sweet and extremely pleasing to his ears.

“Chandra who?” Sid asked with a confused expression as brows pulled together.

Aryan pitched him a look.

“Okay. I’m kidding,” Sid chuckled. “You never took his name before. What the fuck is going on—you are buying Payal for him?” Sid’s words were brimming with impatience.

Aryan didn’t respond right away, but a smile formed on his lips. “We are on good terms.”

Sid darted his gaze downward to the bag of anklets on Aryan’s lap. “What I see here seems like more than you two being on good terms?” there was paused as his eyes spun on the road. “Aryan, are you falling for him?” His friend asked him, his amused tone was with a hint of concern.

“If what I am feeling right now, then yes, I am falling for him,” Aryan admitted. And there was no hesitation in his words as he brought the name on his lips of these feelings inside his heart.

“Does he feel the same way?”

Chandra didn’t reject his advances when he kissed him. And after the kiss, he was blushing . . . and the look of anticipation. And he said he wanted to live with Shivam and him and work on this marriage.

“Too soon to say anything,” Aryan said, smiling. Even if the omega didn’t feel this way, he would make sure him to feel something for him.

Sid took a glance at Aryan. “Best of luck.”

There was a smile on Aryan’s face.

“You know, I checked the account of the Chamatkar, and I found that your mother followed him,” Sid said, “As I wanted to talk to him, but he didn’t seem online that much to even check out my message . . .So, did you ask that someone who bought the shoes for you?”

“Chandra made those shoes.” Aryan couldn’t bear another second that a man was thinking of attempting to make a move on his wife. A tight knot of jealousy twisted in his stomach at thought of itself. Not only that, Aryan didn’t want his friend to daydream about the person who was already taken.

The realization dawned on Sid’s face as he slowed down the car.

“You mean . . . your wife, Shivam’s mother, that Chandra made those shoes?”

Aryan pressed his lips togther, fighting the smile at his friend’s reaction. “Hm,”

It was night 11 p.m., and Chandra was with the women of the house, were at the huge dining table and rolling out the thin puris, which would turn into papads after frying in hot oil for the Haldi ceremony. He was making a small ball from the dough, so others could roll them out to make papad since Chandra was terrible at rolling out puri in a perfect thin circle shape.

While the women sang the folk song and made papad, Chandra’s mind wandered to Aryan. By the time Chandra woke up in the late morning, Aryan had already left for work. Chandra couldn’t concentrate, no matter what he was doing. And absentmindedly, the feeling of Aryan’s kiss on his lips tickles him with their memorizing kiss. Even though yesterday, he had just kissed once, but in his mind, that kiss had been repeating over and over again. But he couldn’t even go to see him in his office with the excuse of lunch, since Chandra had been busy with trying out his outfits to check the fitting. In preparation for the lugan function tomorrow, he was unwillingly taken to the spa. But later, Chandra enjoyed his time at the spa, he felt like he was in heaven and his ankle was nearly healed and there was no swelling now.

Today, he had only seen Aryan once, and that was at dinner. He couldn’t resist stealing glances at the man. Heat flushed his cheeks when Aryan caught him. A wave of fluttering was overwhelming through his stomach. Suddenly, he averted his eyes from the man to his plate. He couldn’t look at the man again for the rest of the dinner.

What is happening to me? Chandra couldn’t understand.

But before he could go to Aryan’s floor after the dinner, he was stopped by his mother-in-law, as it’s the night to make papads and he couldn’t say anything.

“What’s the secret to maintaining a marriage?” Amolaka’s query snapped Chandra back to the present.

“Give the husband whenever and wherever he wants,” replied Geeta, Amolaka and Aryan’s second Bua who wasn’t doing anything except sipping her wine instead of helping to make papad , which she said it’s tiresome work and should have let the employee make the papad, but unfortunately Chandra’s mother-in-law begged for differ; which family ladies should be making papads.

“Give what, Bua?” Yuven asked from across the table, rolling out the dough ball into a thin puri.

“What else, sex,” said Shima, Amolaka and Aryan’s third Bua, while tossing the puri at the center of the table in a plate

While the rest of the girls at the table made disgusted faces, Yuven did the same, and Amolaka’s face turned red.

Couple intimacy wasn’t something that would ever be talked about over the family dining room or in any other room. It’s never been a thing for a family to talk ever about sex . . especially for a conservative family. But Aryan’s family wasn’t conservative. They seemed open-minded enough to talk about sex at the dining table.

“Remember, If he’s not getting from his spouse then he would be getting from someone else,” Geeta Bua went on. “Sex is the foundation of maintaining marriage.”

Geeta’s words caused tension gathered on Chandra’s shoulders as he pressed the small ball of dough into his palms together. Chandra didn’t think that Aryan had ever approached him for sex ever other than when he was in heat. The last time he had sex with Aryan was nearly three months ago. As being not a typical married couple, their marriage wasn’t based on such intimacy or any kind of intimacy.

And Geeta said that sex is the foundation of maintaining marriage. And if he isn’t getting from his spouse then he must be getting from someone else.

Does it mean Aryan is having this kind of intimacy with someone else?

Chandra’s chest grew so tight that he felt like he couldn’t breathe. No. Aryan is not like this . .. he wouldn’t have this kind of relationship with anyone but Chandra. But he wasn’t sure.

“Eww, Masi stop,” said Megha with a disgusting expression. She was the youngest person at the table and the daughter of Shima. Each of the three sisters of Aryan’s father had two daughters around the ages of early 20s. Each of them had one son younger than their daughters.

Geeta said, smiling mischievously. “What eww? That’s how you came to this world, dear.”

“Geeta, you need to stop,” Damini said with a stern voice. “What are you talking about in front of the children?”

“The truth, bhabhi,” Geeta huffed. “And they are not children, they are big children.”

Damini sighed.

“Don’t talk nonsense, Geetu,” Bhavna said. She was the eldest Bua of Amolaka and Aryan.

“Then why don’t you explain to them,” Geeta said, rolling her eyes.

“I had to after the nonsense you put in their heads.” And then Bhavna’s attention turned to the girls at the table. “You need to know, girls, Love is the foundation of prolonged marriage, not sex.”

“How do you know it’s love?” with genuine curiosity asked Yuven.

“Well, it’s not hard to figure it out,” Bhavna said as her lips curved into a smile. “In the beginning, your mind will be consumed by their thoughts. Your heart flutters every time you see that person. You want to be close to them, yet you are conscious of them. You wish for their attention to be focused on you. . . desire you the same way you are desiring them. That’s when you know you are falling for that person.”

Chandra’s heart was beating fast.

That’s the way he is feeling for Aryan.

“But you will always not feel this way . . . As time would go, their companionship, their presence, the habit of that person’s presence in your life makes your love even more strong,” said Damini, looking across the table to Chandra with a smile.
