Alex sitting behind the counter smiles at Sihan, he is dressed in an apron head wrapped and looking enthusiastic.

“You really don’t have to do this,”

“I will! My babies won’t be back in a while and most of my friends are busy with their lives. I’d like to take on a task so I can improve myself while working. So don’t be a shy boss!”

Sihan looks at Alex isn’t he just the cutest thing, he really feels bad.

“You know Alex, you shouldn’t trust me so much. I’m not really a good person.” Sihan sighs.

Alex tilts his head, “whatever do you mean? You are kind in the way you speak, you are generous. You don’t really use my influence to your fullest, besides you even raise such a lovely boy like Noah, no way. Whenever I’m with you I don’t feel a bit of insincerity!”

If only he knows, he wants to tell him. The guilt he feels his heart is overflowing. This secret that he can never tell this honest soul.

“When I was younger, I was involved in a relationship and from that relationship resulted in the conception of Noah, I then ran away with Noah from…” Sihan confesses.

Alex’s expression became dim as his eyes reflected empathy. “Were you so scared you felt the need to run away? That’s okay! That doesn’t make you a bad person at all!”

Sihan’s eyes warms, “but in doing so I deny my son a father.”

“Hey! Don’t think of it like that, I was raised by a single father and brother, my mother left me when I was young did I miss her? Everyday! But hey you lose something you lose something the day she left my world got brighter!” He cheers. “Also please don’t insult Mr. Amani like that! I saw the way he treats Noah and I must say he already has a father!”

Alex blushes then stutters, “sorry, I did again I must have been so rude never mind me!”

Sihan laughs feeling happy, of course his son has a father he’d never deny that. Sihan sighs, smiling.

“Don’t worry you haven’t said anything wrong, I’m an idiot when it comes to these things I didn’t really know about love, one charming smile and my heart went badum before you know I don’t know what happened. Really stupid.” Sihan said.

Alex smiles while taking a stool to sit, “well, you’d never be as stupid as me though! Haha, you see I’m a helpless romantic, my first love was with a playboy. Yep! Betcha! He showered me with love and kisses. I thought he’d changed like in the movies sadly no, I thought maybe… just maybe… but sadly prince charming had to find another fairytale. But still I didn’t lose hope, tall, dark and gloomy it felt like the right person at the wrong time, he was a lovely experience, in fact though I go through a lot I will still try again no matter what cause that’s just who I am an helpless romantic! Now look at me I have a lovely husband and a happy life!”

Sihan gently tilts his eyes head, “I and you’re happy with him? How can you put all your trust in him with all that’s happened to you?”

Alex tilts his head thinking, “my husband hides stuff from me, I feel bad that he hides stuff yes, but I also know there is a part of yourself you do not wish to share with others. I won’t force him to come out of his shell but rather show him, hey it’s I’m here!” Alex laughs.

Sihan gets it, that smile that gentle ans sunshine personality if he should ever know the truth what would become of it? What would become of this beautiful person that Nathaniel married what would become of cheerful and careless smile. Sihan feels a tear fall down his eyes.

“You are such a beautiful person Alexandre, too beautiful.”

Alex was confused tilting his head.

Nathaniel looks at the man standing in the back alley with a cigarette in his hand, Nathaniel smirks irritated by him.

“And here I was thinking you don’t smoke,” he said condescendingly.

“I don’t,” Amani answers calmly, “why did you call me here, I’m a very important person you know?” He said confidentially.

“I’ve done some investigation on you, and it’s funny you know you’re documents are almost completely private.”

“So? People like privacy against nosy neighbors.” He chuckles.

“True, but I’m sure Sihan would like to know why you changed when went to live with your mother or the fact that you whored yourself out since you were 15, did you also do that to get all that degree.” Nathaniel asks lighting cigarette.

“To some “degree” Yes. But not without the knowledge to back it up, you’d understand after it’s people like you that where always the most generous of customers.” Amani crumbles his cigarette with a laugh dropping it.

Nathaniel got annoyed, “what’s that’s supposed to mean?”

“You know the ones who prefer them… young and fresh. Naive, vulnerable…” Amani smirks, “it was so disgusting really.”

Nathaniel was angered he grabs Amani by the collar, Amani’s expression became dark, “Let me go… while I’m still being nice.”

Nathaniel scoffs letting go, “I want you to inform me on everything about my son,”

“Ah. No! That’s for you to learn off your own.”

“What?”

“No, you forced your way in you don’t get an easy way out. ‘Kay’ Noah will decide if he wants you to know him.” Amani said coldly.

“His only 6, he doesn’t know anything.”

“You. Do. Not. Know. That.” Amani smirks rubbing it his face.

Nathaniel got very angry he throw his fist at Amani who in turn grabbed his arm stretching him then knee kicked his side, Nathaniel drops coughing, Amani stoops down looking at him. “Hey, I know you’re a messed up and sick person. But don’t come around with that unresolved trauma and dish it out on my son and love of my life, cause make no mistake.”

He grabs Nathaniel by the hair looking him dead in the eyes, “I’ve been lower than dogs and I’m not afraid to go back there.”

Amani let’s go wiping off the glare then smiles putting his hands in his pocket, “ 🎶Funny how you think I’m bothered~ hmm🎶”

He walks off humming the rest of the song, as Nathaniel tries to compose himself.
