Noah is reading, the story that Arian gave him is a beautiful adventure about a wandering King longing to reach home, he is trapped in the seventh layer of hell while body is laying in bed stuck in a slumber-like state. Reading the last page, Noah feels at loss.

“Noah,”

Noah felt a shock through his body when he heard a chilling voice creep down his voice, he turned up to see the scum gong looking at him.

“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t your mother have come for you already?”

Noah looks away avoiding contact, “probably still looking for my classroom, after all this place is very big.”

Nathaniel stoops down smiling, “want me to call your mother for you?”

“No, I’ll wait here.” He said

“But it’s getting late,”

“I can read, I have some leftovers in my bag. I’m good.” Noah said blankly.

“Noah, I don’t want to leave you alone in this empty classroom.”

“Sir, pay attention to your kids and don’t say useless things.”

Nathaniel is speechless, his son’s eyes are as cold as ice. He didn’t know what to say or how to reply, just stunned.

“Ah, Noah finally… ha~ this place is ginormous!”

Noah quickly packs his bag and smiles at Nathaniel, “goodbye Mr.”

He walks away, going to Sihan holding his hand. Sihan kisses his son and hugs him. Sihan looks up when he sees Nathaniel gets up.

“Oh, Nat? What are you doing here?” Sihan said.

Nathaniel smiles, “I’m picking Alexis and Noel. I happened to see Noah here by himself and decided to see-”

“I see, thank you but I’ll handle it from here.” Sihan is ready to walk away when Nathaniel stops.

“Home arrangements? Your boyfriend is a doctor will he always be available to pick you guys up?”

Sihan thinks, “Don’t worry I’ll work on some arrangements, Noah… well Noah is still new to everything so be patient.”

Nathaniel sighs, “understand,” Nathaniel stoops down ruffles Noah’s head. “See you later Noah”

Noah clings to his mother frowning at him, Nathaniel scoffs before leaving.

Typical of the scum gong, he immediately jumps to conclusions just because Amani and them live together. But then that is a good thing since it’s unlikely they’ll fall in love or it could turn into a bloody squaretangle of a relationship with dog blood and telenovela everywhere.

Sihan looks at Sihan mean expression, “Noah,”

“You mustn’t date anyone!”

Sihan was caught off by this sudden out-burst, it seems the idea of him dating is really hard for Noah, he stoops down hugging Noah.

“You’re the most important to me Noah.”

Noah puffs, he then exhales relaxingly.

After finding their way to the car, they saw that Amani was on the phone. Sihan had left him here on the phone even during the car ride.

Amani is truly a busy person, they all get in the car and Sihan smiles. “How was school?”

“It’s fine the curriculum seems very busy,” he admits. “Want to join some sports team,”

“Hm, you didn’t seem physically active though?” Sihan said.

“Yes, I like basketball and soccer,” Sihan admits thinking.

“Then I’ll sign you up, but I think one is better after all you’re still young I don’t want you to overexert yourself.”

“Of course!”

Nathaniel had dropped the kids at home taking a quick shower, then looked at Alex helping them with their homework. “Alex,”

“Nate, do you want to join?”

“Not today, I have to go to meet grandpa.”

Alex thinks then smiles, “say hello for me,”

“Understood,”

He went over kissing the two kids then Alex, Nathaniel left heading to the Laurier’s Main mansion. He sighs entering the main hall seeing his family members, his aunt and uncle, his cousins.

Soon the head patriarch was shovelled in a wheelchair into the room by an assigned nurse.

“Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well?”

“Of course father,” his aunt answers happy.

“Sorsha, how are your studies?”

“It’s great grandfather.”

“That’s good, really good.”

The old patriarch smiles, he sighs. “How I wish Jacob was still here.”

The room mood change a bit, most of the time no one talks about that man but whenever his name gets mentioned things becomes uncomfortable.

Everyone knows the old man has gotten really sick since his first son died, most of family members now are focused on getting on his goodwill so their inheritance can be assured.

“Ah, Nathaniel how are the boys and your wife?”

“They are in good health, they are doing their homework and Alex is helping.” Nathaniel similar.

“That’s good, they are good boys and your wife just the sweetest bring them over more often.” He said.

“Of course,”

Not much was discussed until they decided to separate, entering a private room with his parents he glares at them.

“It seems that old man has gotten even more sentimental since the last time.” His mother said drinking some tea.

“Well he is getting old and his favorite son died it no surprise he’d want more family time,” his father comments looking at his tablet. “He is very fond of children, and since Nathaniel has children and wife seeming more stable than his cousins… of course he’d in favor of Nathaniel.”

“And yet you deprive my first child of this.” Nathaniel said bitterly.

“He was a bastard,”

“Uncle Jacob had a bastard.” Nathaniel argues.

“That is a different case, Jacob is beloved son after all don’t think for a second if they were here you could think about the wealth.” He answers.

“What about that child anyway?”

“that’s a topic we left for dead along with that man.”

Nathaniel said nothing there is no sense, if this conversation continues he just might reveal he is contact with Noah. He gets up, “I’m going home.”

“It seems Alexandre has proven to be perfect, see what happens whenever you just listen.” His father said.

Nathaniel feels aggrieved, but he sighs whats the point? Once he gets the inheritance he will take them down.

They will pay, he hates them, he hates.

“Mommy, I want my mommy.”

*STAP!*

“You dare embarrassed me like that, I’m your mother!”

“Disappointing, this is embarrassing. Disgraceful.”

The man tears and scattered all the drawings across the ground.

“F-Father!”

The young Nathaniel looks as the lady with a suitcase walks away beyond the gate.

“I’m sorry young master, but I’m afraid I can’t stay.”

“Mommy!”

Nathaniel hates them, he hates them both and wish they would just die.

2. Nathaniel was so not use seeing his parents that called his nanny “mommy”

3. Arian doesn’t express himself through crying even if his sad and has deep issues with his psychological state, which makes his parents overprotective of him.

4. Alex mother left and never return after a bad divorce with his father and because he was so young he doesn’t remember much about her.

5. Noah, is deeply paranoid about his mother’s relationship due to his book becoming his reality.

6. Sihan is always left second guessing what he is doing whenever he is a relationship due to him away being gaslit about his feelings when he was with Noah.
