“Luka! Luka! Luka!”

Arian slowly opens his eyes, he looks at Noah. His face looks so familiar, he looks down then up.

“Arian, I think your father is here.” Noah points.

Arian looks at the man coming through the door, he nods. He puts his backpack on, “hey, do you want to sleep over.”

“Hmm? Sure.” Noah said.

“Then tomorrow,”

Noah thinks that’s a bit sudden when the man comes up to them with a smile, “good evening Ari, how have you been.”

“Josh,I want Noah to sleep over tomorrow.” He informs him.

Josh slowly takes him up in a warm hug. Josh smiles looking at Noah, “first friend?”

Josh looks at Noah, “hello Noah, it’s nice to meet you.”

“Hello Mr. James.” Noah said politely.

“Noah said he’d like for you to come over for a sleepover tomorrow. Can you?” He asks politely.

“I haven’t asked my mom yet, but I think I can.” Noah said, feeling weird looking at this man.

Josh sits in a chair next to him, he looks at him holding Arian preciously in his arms.

“Um sir?”

“Oh don’t mind me, I’ll just wait for your parents approval.” He said.

he brushes Arian’s gently, “Arian, how have you been?”

“I’m fine, I just want to spend more time with Noah.” Arian said, looking at Noah.

Noah tilts his head, what’s going?

Josh looks at Noah with a warm smile, “how nice, and Noah? Arian here isn’t used to friends  so he may come off as a bit mean sometimes… but he means well.”

Noah tilts his head as he watches Josh kisses the head of Arian, he looks at Arian who is dozing off. He had been sleeping previously, looking at his child’s tired face Josh face reflects worry.

“Hmm, tired are we?”

Noah tilts his head, obviously. Arian’s schedule consists of teaching 5 different subjects each day, piano practice, study periods and three different physical examinations. Let’s not forget the mathematical theories. Noah feels these parents are secretly trying to kill their child.

He can’t say that considering he is not only an outsider but also a child, the guy chuckles.

“Oh what could you be scolding me on, child?” Josh chuckles.

Noah is taken aback, “huh?”

Josh has a peculiar child of course he knows an oddball when he sees one, he may not be around much but he knows his child and if he is friends with him something must have caught his interest.

“What are you thinking? Tell me.” Josh pushes.

Noah is confused, “um… Naenae’s schedule is… a bit too much.” He mutters.

Josh thinks, considering it, then smiles, “of course, I’ll look at it.”

Noah blinks, is this person trolling him?

What Noah didn’t know is that Josh is taking his words very seriously. Soon another person walks into the building, “Noah.”

Noah looks at the side, sighing seeing Nathaniel, but soon Nathaniel stops in his tracks looking at the man next to him.cois expression becomes cold. Josh looks at him from the side as a blank smile appears.

“Mr. Laurier, I believe your children are still in the kindergarten area, not first year elementary.” Josh said calmly.

Nathaniel glares sharply, “Don’t poke your nose in business that doesn’t concern you.” Nathaniel said.

Nathaniel looks at his son, “Noah, your mom can’t make it I’ll be taking you home.”

Josh looks at Noah, “wait, I’d like to talk to his mother.”

“Why?”

“Nothing much, parental agreement.” he said vaguely.

“No,” Nathaniel denies.

“I said parental, Are you his parent?” Josh said.

Nathaniel was ready to say yes but knowing the complications of the relationship he had to keep quiet. “Noah let’s go.”

Noah packs his bag, but he looks at Josh, “Mr. Can I have your number?”

Josh is taken back but smiles as he takes out the pen from his shirt pocket, he holds Noah’s hand writing his number on his arms, Noah memorises it then nods. “goodbye, tell Naenae goodbye for me.”

Josh waves goodbye, Noah walks with Nathaniel. He looks at Noah, “you shouldn’t be spending so much time with them.”

Noah looks at him with silence, he can’t tell him that he ignores Nathaniel words as they walk out to find the car.

Joseph James was owner of their enemy company and due to his private expeditions with a family member their relationship has been further damaged, now they are nothing but enemies.

If Noah gets involved especially after he is acknowledged as Laurier it will not be well for him.

Noah, seeing his brother’s smiles, said, “Noah sit here,” they gave him a seat between the two of them.

“Noah, how is school? I heard you are joining the football team.” Alexis smiles.

Noel pouts, “why? Sports are tiring!”

Noah smiles, “I like sports.”

“Well we can practise together.” Alexis said excitedly.

“But you’re a ger.” Noah said.

“So?” Alexis asks Confused.

He thought there was a separation for gers considering the grouping system in bathrooms. It must be different for sports grouping.

Nathaniel drops off Noah at the bakery, where Sihan was leaning on the counter confusing the man and child. During the love-making Amani’s wouldn’t stop ringing so he had to answer an emergency angry at the disruption Sihan went to the fridge angry drinking some milk not realising it was expired.

He was close to climaxing the 2nd time too, tears of embarrassment, shame, frustration and anger were beating Sihan along with a nasty stomach pain and diarrhoea…

“For  *@**#* $*@* I want to die, they really mean die when they named it, huh, **** ***** ****”

Noah could only look at his mom traumatised, he swore?!

Arian wakes up later in the night, he is thirsty rubbing his eyes and he walks to the balcony.

“What the fuck is this?! He’s only 6 years old, are you crazy!!”

“He is intelligent!! we can’t let his talents go to waste!”

“Don’t tell me, Shit! What do you think you’re funking doing to a psychological damage kid!!”

“He is not a retarded, you’re being an asshole!!”

“you are the retard!!”

It’s not long after things start breaking, sitting from the balcony he watches as his brother grabs him, throwing him on the floor.

“It’s your fault!!” Julio shouts as he choke him with one hand he raises the other hand.

Arian is not phase, this always happens seeing julio’s hurtful eyes he can’t help but pity the child he didn’t resist as the child lands his blow.
