As soon as the vassals waiting in the audience chamber confirmed that the Crown Prince had been safely retrieved by Sigurd, they rejoiced and praised our loyalty once again. Those nobles and vassals who had gathered beneath the Asbal mansion, clustered together like a swarm of flies, waiting to feast on the gold hidden in the basement, were detained by the Royal Knights sent in shortly after. The ones who had prioritized the interests of their own fiefdoms over the good of the kingdom were placed under house arrest, confined to their lands until a decision could be made regarding their fates.
After his capture, Jolga was finally cleared by the doctor who examined him and declared him free of any issues.
After leaving the audience, and the celebrations along with it, behind, I made my way over to the office where Morino was attending to the affairs of state, normally meant for the Royal Family to handle, to check in on his progress. It was a good thing Peragene had consented to the plan I’d proposed, and as long as her daughter Vanellope was safe, the talks would conclude on a positive note. Afterwards, Jolga and I continued with giving orders to the squads deployed in every direction, one after another, and once we had finished our work there, the only thing left to do was wait. Lutora, who had gone after Count Lowe, and the troops sent out in search of Nasha, had yet to report in.
“…Phew.”
A desk had been set up in a corner of the office used by the Knights.
Finishing sorting through a stack of documents, I placed them in a box and turned around, removing the glasses I’d been wearing all day. Doing paperwork at a desk that didn’t suit my body was quite taxing, and as I began rubbing at the muscles along my neck and shoulders with the tips of my fingers, a large palm seized my shoulders, giving the tense muscles a light squeeze.
“Mmm…” I moaned.
The movements of those hands felt relaxing.
As I subconsciously let my voice escape my lips, the gazes of the Knights helping sort paperwork in the office seemed to waver.
These men were in no way short on money— I’m sure they visited brothels and the like— but perhaps it was because this particular sight was so different from their expectations that it revealed a chink in their armor, exposing the innocence of many of the Knights.
“…Are you tired?” Jolga asked.
“A little,†I replied. “It’s very different from training someone from their youth.â€
As I rubbed my cheek against Jolga’s palm while he massaged my shoulders, those watching us from around the room were so entranced, it seemed to take their breath away.
It was the first time I had visited the Knight Commander’s office, and it had just the atmosphere I would have expected from a one invested in the art of combat. At best, it could be called efficient, but at worst, it would be boring— a painting on the wall would have done much to improve it, but considering the ones that decorated the corridors of the Royal Palace, perhaps it was wise to leave the walls blank.
A large window sat at the far end of the square-shaped room, overlooking the training grounds below. A heavy desk, designated for the Commander himself, sat against the window, and a low table and two-seater couch stood across from it. On either side, the walls were covered in shelves laden with books and adorned with medals along the tops.
It was a stereotypical military officer’s office.
“I think it’s time for us to take a break, Lord Anderheim,†Jolga said, he then looked at the Knights, “You all as well. Take a break, at this point, all that’s left is to wait for the others to report in.â€
“You’re right. Good job, gentlemen,†I added.
With our consent given, the soldiers left the office one after another, giving us a last, courteous bow.
Seeing as they were Knights on active duty, it was expected that they would be quick on their feet, but their swift departure might have been attributed to something else. At least, that was how I interpreted it after noticing their red cheeks and the surreptitious glances they sent me.
…There would be even more rumors going around tomorrow, wouldn’t there? Then again, we were behaving like this precisely so there would be rumors.
“…Well, then,†I said the moment the last Knight left the room.
I stood up and took a seat on the desk in front of Jolga who was sitting in his chair, his back to the sunlit window.
The desk creaked as his hand reached out to wrap around my waist, but I quickly swatted it away.
“You know what I’m going to say, don’t you?” I asked.
This time, I stretched out my hand and brushed it against Jolga’s cheek.
A painful blue bruise still remained on his manly profile.
My cute lover— my one and only man.
“Anri…Are you angry? ” he asked.
After the short exchange, I gave my response by biting his lips.
My anger stemmed from his deliberate disregard for his own safety when he’d rushed in to protect the Crown Prince. Jolga might be the Commander of the Knights, but he was my dog. Forget being a guardian of the state or such nonsense, he was my dog, and how dare someone try to take him from me without my permission? I couldn’t tolerate such selfish behavior, and if I felt it necessary, I would discipline whoever I needed to prove it.
“…I never said it was okay for other people to touch you,†I whispered with our lips touching.
I parted from him and glared at him from a mere breath away. Jolga shrugged and admitted to his wrongdoing.
“From the beginning, her gaze said she was making light of me. I judged that even if something happened, she wouldn’t kill me right away. Moreover, if His Highness and Nasha had been captured and executed so easily, wouldn’t that have been boring for you, Anri?â€
“…Jolga, you—”
His unexpected reply took me by surprise, and I called out his name in shock.
The beauty before me, famed as the nation’s shield, stared at me in ecstasy, as if carried away by his desire.
“I told Nasha too, beforehand. I have always thought of the Crown Prince as my son and supported him. As his fiancée, she too, was *just like* my daughter. If misfortune were to befall her family… I would feel obligated to tell her about it.”
That was why Jolga had told her, explaining that he’d heard that her siblings had been captured by the Abyss Ring Circus. It was an act of “kindness.â€
He’d advised her, if she ever had the chance, that she should go to the circus and negotiate with the troupe leader, Ducali, taking care to never let the Crown Prince learn of the incident.
“I had checked the underground passage once before and found there were two exits, one leading to the east and one leading to the south of the capital. This time, the rebel army had attacked from the east, because there was something obstructing them from the south— circus tents,†he said.
“…”
“That’s why I told them, if they were going to run, that they should run to the south of the capital,†he smirked. “Of course, if they managed to reach the location of the circus, they could ask for assistance there, couldn’t they? And it’d be wonderful if that woman had something to prove she was the real Nasha Laturi.â€
“Jol…ga,†my voice stuck in my throat, and I realized I could no longer hold myself back.
I knelt down in the space between Jolga’s chair and the desk and grabbed his knees, spreading them wide. He was still sitting with his back to the window, and he stared at me.
“Anri…?” he asked.
“…Jolga,” I murmured back.
My voice cracked as I choked back tears while calling my mate’s name. My eyes trembled and burned with emotion, and in my heart, I realized how “kind†my lover truly was.
To secretly tell the future queen, who was shocked at her family’s misfortune, of that place. Kind enough to tell the future queen, who had been shocked to learn of her family’s misfortune, of that place. Kind enough to politely guide them there, even while ruthlessly chasing them out of the castle.
Kind enough to show them a shortcut to hell. All on purpose.
“Jolga, you’re truly the best,†I cried. “The best man, and as I expected, my man.â€
I reached around Jolga’s waist and unbuckled his trousers to expose his underwear. A masculine odor wafted off Jolga’s body, pungent after three days of captivity without a bath, but such concerns were far from my mind. I only knew that I wanted him, I wanted his seed immediately. The semen of my lover, my man, to be let out into my body. I wanted it right then and there.
His penis, which I had slipped free of his underwear, was already slightly erect, and it began to tower even with just me gripping it in both hands and giving it a light rub. I swallowed back my saliva, stuck my tongue out and savored the tip.
“Mmm…” I moaned.
It tasted awful, but that bitter and sour scent was somehow irresistible.
I ran my tongue over it, as if trying to memorize the shape of his organ— my body knew it well. That shape of the glans that had plunged in and out of my insides, gouging it out as it pleased, and the foreskin that I sucked and licked at, running my lips and fingers across the shaft to stimulate it further.
His girth filled my mouth, pushing against my upper job, a sensation I couldn’t get enough of, as I fondled his semen packed scrotum.
He grabbed my head, holding it gently in both hands as I continued to service him. Looking up, I found his face flushed and filled with the excitement that came just before climax. It was an image of sublime sex appeal.
“Anri…” he gasped.
“Mm…mn.”
“Ahh, I’m cumming… Ahh… ah Anri! ” his voice trembled as he declared his state.
“Hn..ugh…!”
He used both hands to yank my head forward, and at the same time, a warmth surged down into my throat.
“Ahh…Mmm…”
I used my fingers to trace his shaft to the very base, ensuring I sucked up every last drop. I couldn’t afford to miss a single one as I savored the rich taste spreading across my tongue before I swallowed it down, relishing it the entire time.
Satisfied at last, I stood up, ready to lean forward and snuggle up to Jolga’s muscular figure. It was Jolga’s turn to have his way, but before he could start, someone pounded on the office door.
“Commander! Lord Anderheim! Lutora has returned!” someone called out, his voice echoing through the room.
He couldn’t have had worse timing.
Jolga let out a chuckle to my surprise, perhaps amused at the wrinkle that sprouted between my eyes as I pouted in displeasure.
“Anri… Don’t get angry,†he chided me. “Once this is done, we can take all the time in the world.â€
“Do you promise?†I asked, still sulking.
“Of course,†he reassured me. “I’ll be right there,†he called out to the knight still on the other side of the door.
Reluctantly, we parted, taking care to readjust our clothes, all the while there was only one thought running through my mind.
After all this, I could only hope he comes home early tonight.
With such thoughts continuing, we returned together to the audience chamber to find Lutora and the girl he had brought along, Vanellope. The young, wise girl who wasn’t exactly as she seemed.
This girl truly was “Donna’s Child.â€
