A+ A-

It was supposed to be a normal weekend, just watching the flowerbeds and the spirits running around the garden. But god does not seem to understand the level of normalcy that Sejin wished to have, he should have been more specific towards that ‘normal’ day.

Sejin sat on his bed with an unreadable expression. Annoyance evident on his face but his visitors seem to not notice it, or they just decided on ignoring his expression, regardless, Sejin followed their movements as they looked around his chamber with curiosity and idiocy- he rolls his eyes with a tired sigh as he rubs his face.

I’ll freeze this motherfu- to death, I swear.

He took a deep breath and stood from his bed and with a wave of his hand, the two rascals touching his things were frozen in place- and they don’t seem to be bothered by this.

“Akira and Jane-“

The two looked asinine as they stood still like docile dogs.

“What are you doing here?”

It was too late; he shouldn’t have asked that.

“You’re our fiancé now, of course we will be visiting you.”

casually dropping a bomb like that…

The two smiled as if that news will not disturb Sejin’s mind, his fingers twitched in annoyance as his face became ten times serious, his body exuding that cold that the twins came to love. They grinned in excitement as their chosen fiancé became annoyed as the silence went by.

“You didn’t receive the notice of your royal parents?”

Jane asked with confusion. That question seems to have triggered something in Sejin as the room was enveloped in a cage of ice- perfectly executing what he’s feeling at the moment. Levi materializing in the air, after sensing his blood brother’s anger from Third’s manor.

He frowned upon seeing the twins in the room and Sejin standing at the foot of his canopy bed with a downcast expression.

“What’s wrong, Sejin?”

Levi jumped on the bed to peek at him. Sejin slowly glanced at him with murderous intent which startled Levi, but he knew that it was not directed to him. His gaze became sharp as he glared at the twins which they returned with an equal gaze upon seeing the lion get near their fiancé.

“It’s not them.”

The three glanced back to Sejin who’s looking outside his floor-to-ceiling window with a chilling gaze- in his field of view, he could see the palace from his bedroom. It seems like he will need to visit his dear parents again. He called Aries,

“Yes, Master?”

He had long felt the shift of atmosphere in the air, not only him but also those who have a spiritual connection with the elements or elemental servants all felt it. They were antsy as to what caused this chilling atmosphere to envelope the walls of the manor.

What could have been the reason that their master was creeping their walls with his prickly nature,

The powerful counterpart of the fire god was feared by many elemental people knowing that this power could rival the gods if manipulated enough, and the blacks knew- if not, everyone knew how dangerous this power is if it was given to the wrong wielders.

“Have my carriage ready. Take my brother- tell him to pack up. We’re visiting the palace.”

Sejin turned away from his window and gave Aries a silent nod, he picked up Levi like a small cub and walked out of his room. The chilling haze followed after him like a child wanting to be favored, the ice around the twins melted and they also gave Aries a nod and followed the group out of the chamber.

They arrived at the hall where Kalev is waiting, the scintilla of fire sitting atop his head made him look like a post lamp. Levi sat on Sejin’s arms with his head held high, his royal influence showing in his posture and gaze, clearly subjecting everyone below him except for his master/blood brother. The two royal brothers stood outside, their auras contrasting each other which mesmerized the servants, hindering them from their places to move.

With the tick of seconds, the chilling haze had spread throughout the manor: the beautiful garden turned into ice as soon as Sejin’s haze touched the ground. While others are worried- standing on thin line- Akira and Jane stood behind the royal brothers staring at their fiancé with a proud and intrigued look. The twins looked at each other then, their eyes speaking and finally with a nod, the telepathic conversation ended.

In the midst of summer, the chilling haze that Sejin’s carriage brought upon a chill amongst the people that are within the parameters of his power which means that almost half of the kingdom has been enveloped by ice. The common people hugged themselves while looking at the moving carriage, their body shivering at the thought of what could have pissed the ice wielder.

This phenomenon is rare but never failed to bring that chill down whenever the locals thought of that one ice wielder, so pissed, froze the whole kingdom.

And history is repeating itself again.

The carriage arrived at the gates of the palace; the chauffeur told the guards what they are here for but were denied to enter as the royal rulers forbids any outsiders inside. Sejin and Kalev frowned at this, the guards should have recognized his seal as well as his brothers.

The two looked at each other and Sejin looked outside, his gazed fixed on the proud palace with a murderous intent.

Levi scoff in his arms, knowing clearly that the royal rulers knew that this would happen, but they do not know what the brothers are capable of especially Sejin.

“Please let us in, the princes are in the carriage.”

The chauffeur again, showed the two royal seals but the guards shook their heads, remaining stubborn in their places. The chauffeur was about to open his mouth again, but Sejin called him as he put his head out of the window.

“Never mind.”

He glared at the gates, ice creeping on the steel bars of it, its elements dying under his wrath. The guards were shock and quickly pointed their spears towards the carriage, ready to fight but they are not Sejin’s enemy.

“Move.”

The chauffeur knew not to fear the royal rulers now after seeing what his master was capable of. The power he wielded were feared more than the rulers themselves, such as that his reputation skyrocketed after he came back unscathed from the blacks. The carriage soon moved again, the gates wilting and crumbling under its impact like a useless piece of dead leaf. The guards ran after them but Kalev, finally understanding his brother’s wrath, drew a line of undying flames between the guards and the carriage.

“Your highnesses!”

The two remained unbothered in their seats. Akira and Jane smiled at this; the backbones of their kingdom could finally see what goes beyond the expression of their loving parents. The carriage stopped in front of the palace doors. Akira and Jane climb out with playful smirks as they stood on either side of the carriage door helping a fuming Kalev out,

His fire magnifying upon seeing that no servants welcomed them. And finally, the charismatic and phoenix of the kingdom- Sejin- climbed out with an oppressing presence as the haze of mist enveloped the ground, the twins held his hands as they guide him slowly on the platform of the palace.

“It’s so silent.”

Fire on fire, the twins sighed as they more or so ignited the brothers’ madness. Sejin looked at the closed doors of the palace with a glare and the golden doors shattered in no time, squeals of fright followed soon after, but his wrath has not yet reached his so-called parents.

Kalev led the group while the twins held their fiancé’s hands in theirs with a small smile and cold gazes matching Sejin’s. The floor turned frozen each time that the eldest royal brother takes a step forward. Along the way, no servants welcomed their presence which is blatantly telling them that they are intruders of the palace even their own crown prince was treated as such.

They soon reached the hall where Kalev suspected his parents and other nobles are judging by the noise coming from the inside,

‘Confirmed. he’s not Sejin’

‘She’ll come for him.’

‘for all the greatest, kill him’
