It’s been a month since Matt arrived in Halamaian Forest and tamed the dominant beast that Levi’s occupying now. And with the death of the ancient dominant beast every beast in the forest had come to worship and serve Matt, they made him the new patriarch of the forest.
The ancient dominant beast was a three feet tall lion with a thick, soft mane swaying like waves. A handsome golden yellow lion: its sharp claw’s length is two inch and its razor-sharp teeth that can penetrate any meat.
After the beast became Levi’s, they’ve been isolated in this forest without any hindrance as he lays around while Sejin practice his element.
“How do I even do this?”
Sejin groaned in frustration while struggling to perform an Ice trick. He looked at Levi watching him struggle at practicing.
” Don’t know, my element’s thunder. And it’s kind of refreshing seeing you struggle, karma back’at’shu. “
He stated though the second sentence came as a whisper which Sejin dismissed since Levi wouldn’t tell him anyway. He started concentrating again hopefully this time he’ll manifest at least a tiny ice.
“Don’t rush it, you got to feel the tingle first then let that tingle travel and course through your brain and heart and after that─”
He instructed, his voice sounding lazy than normal as he lay on the dirty mud. Halfway through his explanation he stopped feeling chills and he glance at a emotionless redhead with clear murder written on his forehead.
“Well, that tingle is different, feels like your element is killing someone with just one look rather than freezing someone with ice.”
Sejin scoff at him before muttering ‘useless’.
“Wash your fur, I could see countless insect in it.”
He said before concentrating again and Levi once faced his back; levi glance at the side with a disbelief before staring intently at his fur and for sure there was insects in it but with how tiny they were he spent ten minutes accurately.
‘How the fuck did he saw these insects with this distance?!! Unbelievable!’
At the end of spring, Sejin improved his control over his element, even from his touch, anything would freeze. He and Levi always bicker because the beast always find ways to annoy the germophobic male.
And today is the day where they will finally return to his birthplace.
The beasts also gave them farewell gifts like gems, gold and beasts hide and blood, 2 to 9 tier scrolls made from rare aquatic sea beasts and plants that can be exchange with [Arlitts].
“Thank you. We will comeback for sure.”
The beasts nod their heads comically crying as they have grown to like the former crown prince because of his fierceness and fair judgements over disagreements.
“Let’s go, brat.”
Traveling by foot took them four days and three nights and they finally arrived in the bustling Capital of Varlette, [Alaz].
Entering the Capital through a secret passage; the large crowd varying in colors as they flex their wealth around amazing others and earning praises.
Turns out they arrive in time to witness the [ Pista De Valè ], a festival celebrating the first Royalties of Varlette who sacrifice themselves for the new generation. Nobles and commoners interacted with each other tossing their status aside even for today.
“Let’s go find an inn.”, Levi said as he sat on Matt’s shoulder like a cat, I mean he really is a cat.
Levi shrunk himself in the size of a palm looking cute that many people turned to coo at his cuteness. He either ignored their stares or booming with pride.
Sejin walked through the crowd looking left and right amaze with numerous products like empty scrolls, baby beasts roaring to get attention and some docile ones kept for pets’ etcetera.
“Oh? Oh! Sir! Sir! You, the one with emerald cloak, please wait a moment! “, a shop owner he passed by called him back outmatching the other shouting shop owners.
Matt stopped in his tracks hearing a cheer from the shop owner, ‘so he was talking to me?’.
Debating on his thoughts he walked back observing the rundown shop looking shady as fuck, but did he cower? No, if worse comes he can just freeze him.
“Sir, I am a man with a very keen eyes, I could see that you are carrying a very large amount of value in you hm?”, the shop owner smile reaches his eyes.
However, Matt only hummed in agreement entering and closing the curtain behind them tapping his ring and a bunch of valuable things appeared on top of the counter.
“10 purple quartz, 2 bars of gold and 4 level three scrolls─ give me 500 Arlitts.”
The shop owner stood there stupefied, for only five hundred Arlitts in exchange of this rare to common stones that can be converted into a human made mana, jewelry or even materials for storage pouches, and empty tier scrolls.
“O-only 500 Arlitts?!”, the owner couldn’t believe it this rare to common stones can be sold for more than 100 a piece but this person did not want to raise the value.
“Pfft, of course. I am already rich, powerful with so many growing stones and as you can see, I even have a dominant beast here…”, he gestures to a sleeping palm sized beast on his shoulder.
The shop owner gasp in surprise as if realizing something and immediately attended to his special costumer with a big genuine smile spreading on his face.
“Oh! Please, please, this way then, My Lord.”
After the whole ordeal Sejin found a cheap inn with delicious foods on the menu and immediately gave them five stars after tasting the food that even Levi praised whoever made them.
Sitting on a soft bed, Sejin brought out the remaining valuable items that can be change for Arlitts and counted them along with his remaining Arlitts. Today they also went to the academy to enroll.
“Don’t you think I’m a little late? We were delayed by two weeks after all.”, Matt said laying on his bed.
“Well, I told someone that I can teleport us here, but he said that some sensitive holders might sense our sudden aura, heh.”, Levi said in a sarcastic tone his eyes never wavering on Sejin.
“Haha…okay, my fault.”
‘Helios Academy, younger brother, See you there…
Sejin‘s POV
Well hello ugly hoomans, today I got the idea to roam around to familiarize myself with this new world. Suddenly transmigrating here and with my character’s life on the line? Hah! I need die proof plans in order to get away from potential threats that can kill me.
Example: those blacks, they call themselves Black Luna. Their organization- Black Luna takes ice holders by the orders of an unknown god then take their souls to feed.
‘Disgusting, ugly hoomans’
In the game, after Sejin came back he started working in the shadows and he also met black luna but instead of going against them he joined them creating a large gap between magic, and together they were unstoppable.
Seven years of experiencing the dark side of the world where hope was once his fuel, but seven years passed by and not even a soul came to save his ass, what a pity.
“Please sit here for a moment.”
Enough of this sad backstory.
I arrived at the business guild and asked for the GuildMaster’s presence and while waiting I opened my newly bought [ kjara ].
Pressing on the ‘Helios Academy’ page, I went to the students’ information and looked for a specific name. I let out an empty smile as I read the information.

‘Hmm, so he’s just a newborn baby when Sejin was stripped off the throne huh?’
“They didn’t get to properly meet then.”
Looks like my brother was popular enough to get my parents to forget I even existed. But again, after Sejin came back, his parents ask for his forgiveness. Might as well prepare myself for that event.
I let out a sigh closing my kjara and I almost screamed when i saw a handsome man with blue curly hair sitting in front of me with his chin prop up on his hands.
His eyes closed with a smile on his face.
“Long time no see, Jin.”, he opened his harden eyes as if staring right through my body and soul.
‘I’d be damned.’

Pista De Valè – It is called pista de valé because the first-generation royalties sacrificed themselves for the people and valé is their surname but with the recognition of the fire god, she gave them her name ─varlette.
Kjara – this is the communication/information device just like a phone. It is a metal with the owner’s element stone as its center, when activating one should imbue it with their elemental aura.
