“Hshh! everything is packed “
Kabir glanced up from his phone, teasingly remarking,
“Mannerless boy, we’re off for a honeymoon, not a picnic” as he observed Rudra lounging on the couch with a sigh.
“Mr. Akdu, thank you” Rudra, with a sly smile, retorted, dripping with sarcasm and a hint of mischief.
Curious, Kabir inquired, “Thank you for what?” prompting Rudra to explain,
“Nahi matlab aap nahi batate toh mujhe pata nahi chalta,so thank you very very much”
With a playful pout, rudra asked, “Where are we headed for this honeymoon, Mr. Akdu?”
Rudra, his excitement palpable, shared, “It’s not like something something will happen between us, but I’m looking forward to enjoying great food and exploring,” his eyes gleaming like a child’s.
In a teasing manner, kabir quipped, “What if something something does happen between us?” as he took a step closer to rudra, who responded with a frown.
As Kabir leaned in, whispering, “Let’s practice for that ‘something’ “ with a wink and a mischievous grin, Rudra playfully protested, “Mr. Akdu, you shameless man, do you have no decency?”
Unfazed, Kabir retorted, “You’re only realizing that now?” before suggesting, “Come on, let’s rehearse” teasing Rudra as he pushed him away, causing Rudra to retreat downstairs, exclaiming loudly,
“I don’t want to!”

“Muzaffar?” Mihir called out, shoving clothes aside to make space for Muzaffar’s belongings.
“MUZAFFAR?“ mihir called in loud as muzaffar was lying on bed and didn’t take interest and answered him.
“what?” Muzaffar responded, lying on the bed, clearly uninterested.
“Pack your clothes” Mihir instructed.
“You seem quite excited for the honeymoon” Muzaffar remarked, moving closer to Mihir.
“Want to go with someone else?” Mihir questioned, narrowing his eyes and raising an eyebrow with a deadpan expression.
“Shut up, please!” Muzaffar retorted, his tone betraying his boredom.
Mihir’s phone rang, diverting his attention momentarily.
“Hey, I’m alright, how are you feeling now?” Mihir inquired over the call as he folded a cloth.
“Umm… What about tomorrow? I’m free in the morning” he added.
Muzaffar’s gaze shifted, observing Mihir from the corner of his eye.
“Okay, let’s meet tomorrow,” Mihir confirmed over the call.
“Bye” he said with an unusual hint of a smile, a rare sight from Muzaffar.
“Where are you off to?” Muzaffar inquired, still absorbed in his phone.
“Why?” Mihir responded, shooting a sharp glance.
“Don’t go alone” Muzaffar advised, tossing his phone aside.
“Tum hi kyun nahi chale jate phir meri jagah pe?” Mihir retorted, folding his arms and glaring in anger.
“Take someone with you” Muzaffar calmly suggested, ensuring the younger one understood.
Mihir, feeling a mix of frustration and concern, responded with a hint of defiance, “I don’t need anyone to go with me, I can handle it”
Muzaffar, with a touch of exasperation, retorted, “Just be careful. You know how things can get out there”
“Instead of texting someone, please pack your clothes” Mihir directed towards Muzaffar, who was once again engrossed in his mobile.
“Hi?” a voice interrupted Mihir’s focus suddenly.
“Oh, Rudra? come in” Mihir welcomed him.
“I wanted to ask if you’re free tomorrow?” Rudra inquired.
“Tomorrow? Umm… I’m sorry, I have a meeting with someone” Mihir replied with a slightly disappointed smile.
“What’s up?” Mihir asked, curious about Rudra’s visit.
“I wanted to get something” Rudra began explaining.
“Come with me then. I have a meeting, and we can get what you need afterward” Mihir suggested.
“Are you sure? I didn’t want to disturb” Rudra hesitated.
“It’s okay, let’s go tomorrow” Mihir confirmed.
“Thanks” Rudra expressed his gratitude with a smile.
“Not a problem” Mihir replied warmly.
“Now, I wanted to share this with you” Rudra said, offering a box of chocolates.
“Chocolates?” Mihir questioned.
“Yes, a new edition” Rudra explained.
“Thanks” Mihir expressed his gratitude.
Time skip to night 🌉
“Why are you wandering around mannerless boy?” Kabir asked, observing Rudra pacing nervously, fidgeting with his nails.
“Mr. Akdu, shall we converse in English there?” Rudra asked abruptly, his eyes wide with innocence.
“Why? What’s wrong?” Kabir inquired.
“Mr. Akdu, tell me first” Rudra insisted.
“Of course, we will speak in English” Kabir said, concealing a smile.
“Why don’t you go yourself, Mr. Akdu?” Rudra asked innocently.
“I will come later,” rudra said, taking Kabir’s hand, his eyes softening.
“That doesn’t sound like a honeymoon, mannerless boy” Kabir teased.
“Dadima won’t allow it” he explained.
“Are you worried because you don’t know English?” Kabir asked.
“And if not, then how will I communicate with others?” Rudra questioned, clearly perplexed.
“Why do you need to talk to others?” Kabir suddenly asked, looking surprised.
“What?” Rudra asked being confused.
“I mean, don’t worry about others. Just talk to me if you need anything, alright?” Kabir reassured him.
“Why are you stressing over such a trivial matter?” Kabir added, sounding slightly annoyed.
“Don’t worry, I’m here for you,” he comforted.
Next Day
“Mannerless boy where are you going?” Kabir inquired.
“Why you care mr. akdu?“
“I don’t care it’s just we have to take flight so don’t be late that’s what I am saying” Kabir explain.
“Yep, heading out now,” Rudra replied casually into his phone.
“Got it, can I go now?” Rudra added sarcastically, noticing Kabir’s puzzled expression.
Outside the mansion, Rudra spotted Mihir waiting for him. He flashed a smile and hopped into the car.
“Should we head to your stop first?” Rudra asked.
“Sure thing” Mihir nodded in agreement.

Dhruv greeted, “Hi” as Mihir introduced Rudra, who nodded in acknowledgment.
“Let’s grab something to eat” Dhruv suggested.
They all agreed, and Dhruv made the booking. While they were eating, Dhruv casually mentioned, “You remember, tomorrow marks the day we first met”
Mihir, with a smile, replied, “I know” acknowledging their upcoming friendship anniversary.
Rudra, who had been silently observing, suddenly piped up, “Huh??”
“We’re actually hitting 6 years of friendship”Dhruv explained, triggering a moment of reflection as he felt a sense of familiarity with Rudra.
“I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere before” Dhruv pondered, recalling a possible encounter at Rajput House or in the press.
In midst of the conversation, Rudra excused himself, saying, “Excuse me, I need to take this important call”
As Rudra stepped away, Dhruv, in a playful gesture, wiped some cream off Mihir’s lips, causing a moment of confusion for Mihir.
Dhruv’s anticipation bubbled over as he asked,
“Are we meeting tomorrow?” His voice tinged with hopeful excitement.
Mihir’s response was a heavy blow, “I guess not” he said, disappointment evident in his tone.
“Do you have other plans?” Dhruv probed, trying to grasp the situation.
“Yeah, maybe” Mihir sighed, lost in contemplation.
“Alright, we’ll be late; we need to check out some shops” Mihir stated with a smile as they bid goodbye.
“Okay, see you soon” Dhruv bid farewell, a tinge of sadness in his voice.
“I can’t even imagine not spending this special day with you” Alone, Dhruv muttered to himself.
“Can’t our relationship be more?” he pondered, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air.
