It was a great sunny day in SM Entertainment, many people are wandering along the company with their own task in hand. That’s the case also for a group of people whose just entered the building.
“Yah Ning don’t run inside the building!” Karina said furiously to the now giggling Ningning.
“Unnie you’re no fun~” She said to Karina while still running to the front desk.
When Ningning reach there she was greeted by the receptionist, “Oh, hello there Ningning-ssi, good afternoon”
“Hello there too Unnie!” Ningning said jovially.
“Unnie unnie unnie, we brought you treats!” Winter said excitedly too.
“Omo, you girls didn’t have to, I can’t accept this” the receptionist said and bowed slightly to the girls.
“Are you sure Unnie? We heard yesterday you wanted this cookie from the cafe” Giselle said to her.
“H-how did you girls know that?” She said.
“We heard you said it when we’re coming home yesterday Unnie!” Ningning said while holding on to the front table and jumping up and down.
“Yeah yeah!” Winter and Giselle said at the same time.
Karina hearing this was furious at her member “Yah what did I say about listening into other people conversation!”
In an instant all of the members were frozen in spot.
“Hehe… about that Unnie” Ningning said and started to play with her hair nervously.
“Eto… we didn’t technically eavesdrop you know Jimin-ah” Giselle said with a fidget.
“Y-yeah Unnie! we’re just passing by and we just heard it” Winter said with false bravery.
Karina glared at her member and said “That’s not an excuse-“
Before she started to lecture her member on proper manner a voice cuts her off.
“What’s with all this commotion?”
There stood Y/N with a confused face staring at them.
“Oppa!” The three guilty member rush to Y/N’s side and hid behind his back.
“Help Oppa! Jimin-Unnie is in her leader mode” Winter said to him while grabbing his jacket to avoid Karina’s rage.
Y/N could only laugh at what Winter said. Y/N here is a long time producer at SM Entertainment and has been with aespa since the beginning of their trainee days. So he knew exactly what happened is a daily occurence of the girls messing around with their leader.
“O-o-oppa what are you d-doing here?” Karina with wide eyes asked to Y/N.
“I should be the one asking you question Rina-ah” Y/N said as he untangles himself from the three girls and walk closer to Karina.
“W-what do you mean Oppa?” Karina asked.
When Y/N is near Karina he started to inspect her, “Let’s see…” He started to say.
By this time Karina is very nervous, but then who wouldn’t be when your crush is near you right.
“You just washed your hair, so it must not be bad hair day” Y/N said as he brush her hair to her ear, “And judging by what the other girls said you all just went to the cafe, so that means you just ate your favorite cake” He finished saying and brushing the other side of her hair.
“So the big question is~” Y/N cupped Karina’s cheek, “What makes you so cranky in this fine afternoon?”
To say Karina’s face is red would be an understatement. She’s blushing like crazy right now, to the point where she couldn’t properly form a sentence to Y/N’ question.
“I-I-I…” was all she could say considering how Y/N’s touch is melting her literally and figuratively.
The girls are all giddy seeing how Y/N presence change their leader to a soft puddle instantly.
“Oppa stop it, you’ll make her knees weak” The ever so mischievous Ningning said
Y/N looked at her and said “That’s alright Ning, if she falls then I’ll catch her” He looks back at Karina and winked “Right Rina-ah?”
Karina continues to malfunction seeing what Y/N is doing. So Y/N release Karina’s face and went behind her back to grip her shoulder and guide her to the rest of her member.
“If I’m understanding this correctly, your member only wanted to give Sebin-ssi over there a treats” He said
The three girls nodded excitedly.
“I see nothing wrong with that, consider that a compliment for Sebin-ssi hard work, right?” Y/N asked the receptionist .
“You flatten me Y/N-ssi” She said with a smile.
“B-b-but Oppa!” Karina whose stared to regain her sense said to Y/N, “They eavesdrop on her”
“They didn’t do it purposely Rina-ah, I mean it’s a lobby so everyone can hear what was being said you know. Even right now” He said calmly to the now pouting Karina.
After knowing Karina for so long, Y/N knew she was embarassed now. So he didn’t want to make things worse and said, “It’s fine, it’s fine” He patted her head.
“You know what, why don’t we use that treats that Ning brought and give it to Sebin-ssi as an apology for eavesdropping” He walked to Ningning and grabbed the box of treats, then he takes Karina hand and walks to the front table.
“Come on Rina, give it to her” He said as Karina gives the box and said, “I’m sorry for me and my member behavior Sebin-ssi” She said with a bow.
“Oh it’s fine Karina-ssi, you girls makes this company lively” She accepted the box from Karina’s hand.
“Now that’s a good girl” Y/N said and ruffles Karina’s hair.
Karina was at bliss by what Y/N did, so she closes her eyes and leans closer to him.
“Omo look at her being all softy to Y/N” Giselle commented quietly.
“You’re right Unnie, only Y/N-Oppa can make her like that” Winter added.
Now that it’s all over Y/N offered to walk them to the studio. All the way to the studio a Karina sticks to Y/N’s side like a koala with the biggest smile ever.

Since the event that afternoon it has been quite sometime so now it’s already late in the evening.
Y/N is preparing to go home, so he pick up his things and goes out of the recording room.
As he was locking the door, he met again with the aespa girls.
“Hello again girls” He waved to the girls, but then he notices something, “Wait where’s Karina?”
“She said she have something to do Oppa, so we’re gonna home first” Answered Giselle.
“That’s weird, she usually goes home with you guys” He started to ponder to himself.
“Alright then, you girls be safe on your back okay” He said.
“Ne Oppa!” The three of them replied and then walked away.
Y/N sense that there is something wrong with Karina Immediately goes to check on her. When he reaches their studio it was empty, he started to think about where could Karina be when he heard a sobbing came from the emergency exit.
He decided to check it out, and when he opens he was greeted with a curling Karina sitting on the stairs.
No wanting to suprise her, he slowly walks to her and put his arm over her shoulder.
Sensing someone is there, Karina looks at Y/N’s direction with her red eyes that is fills with tears.
“O-oppa-” She said before Y/N engulfs her in a hug.
“It’s alright Jimin-ah, just let it all out” He said while rubbing her back to soothe her.
Karina cries harder in Y/N’s chest and hugged him back.
After a while she has already calm down and looks at Y/N.
“O-oppa, I messed up” She said
“What did you messed up Jimin-ah?” Y/N asked her.
“I-I Messed u-up in practice” She said while looking away.
Y/N cupped her chin and bring her to looks at him again, “Everybody messed up in practice Jimin-ah, what’s wrong?” He asked to try understand Karina’s situation.
“I know oppa, but I’m afraid that I can’t make it right, then the fans will notice, but if the one messes up is the leader then who will the members count on?” She said weakly.
“I’m afraid that the members will know, I’m afraid that I can’t put up a good example to them, I’m afraid that I’ll be a bad leader to them, I’m-” Karina rambles before Y/N kissed her forehead and pulls her closer to him.
“Being afraid is not a sin Jimin-ah, being afraid tells that you are human. It tells you what your weakness is, and once you know your weakness” He pulls back from the hug and look at her straight in the eye, “You can become stronger”.
Slowly but surely what Y/N said is seeping through her, and she did that Y/N once again pulls her to a hug and rubs her head.
“T-thank you Oppa, I needed that” She said although muffled.
“Don’t sweat it Jimin-ah, besides I already missed the fierce and tough Karina that can kill people with her looks” He said and karina giggled.
“That’s it, that’s the laugh I love the most” He said with a small laugh.
“S-Stop joking around Oppa~” Karina blushed and whined.
Y/N laugh at her cute reaction and said “Why would I joke about something like that Jimin-ah”
“N-no! You’re lying, my laugh is not pretty, it’s loud and annoying” She denied.
“That’s nonsense Jimin-ah, I love everything about you” Y/N said to assure her.
Karina blushed again at what Y/N words and said, “Y-you don’t m-mean that right Oppa?” She asked with disbelief.
“Of course I do, how could I not like everything about the one I love?” He asked with a smile.
Gasp were heard from Karina as she covered her mouth in shock.
“W-w-what did you say Oppa?” she asked still with disbelief.
“Of course I do” He answered her question.
“No after that pabo-ya!” She slapped Y/N’s chest.
Taking a hold of her slapping arm Y/N brings his face closer to her and said, “You very well heard what I said Jimin-ah” Karina didn’t know what to do at his words.
Not expecting her to say anything soon, Y/N continue to say, “I’ve liked you ever since we met Jimin-ah, your strong willed personality draws me to you, yet as we got closer your soft side opens up and that makes me fall deeper for you”.
Karina could only stare at Y/N, and when it all kicks in she lunges to hugged Y/N tightly.
“I like you too Oppa!” she screams “Ever since the beginning you’ve been kind to us, and you help me go through all my problems, and you’re so selfless, and you’re everything I wanted”.
The both of them hugged while Karina is snuggling and Y/N is having a small laugh.
“Would you be my girlfriend Yoo Jimin?” He asked the importand question.
Karina’s smile grew wide and she answers “Yes! A thousand times yes!”.
“I love you Jimin-ah” He said.
“I love you too Y/N-Oppa” She said it too.
Karina and Y/N stares lovingly at each other, enjoying the moment they both dreamt of.
“But Jimin-ah” Y/N said breaking their lovely moment.
“Ne Oppa?” She tilts her head.
“No girl of mine is gonna be down, not on my watch” He said as he raised his arm up.
“Answer me Yoo Jimin, who is a strong girl?!” He asked.
With a laugh she answers “Me!”
“I can’t hear you!” He said.
“Me! Me!” She continues to laugh while answering his silly question.
“I still can’t hear you!” He said once again.
“Me Oppa, I’m a strong girl!” She shouted on the top of her lungs, her words echoing through the empty area surrounding them.
“Now that’s my girl” He ruffles her hair as Karina smiled brightly at him.
Suddenly the doors slam open as a pile of human came crashing down. It was the rest of the members, turns out it was not an empty area all along.
After their groans of pain have died down all could be heard was Y/N’s laugh.
“Hehe, hi Unnie hi Oppa” they said nervously.
“Since when were you guys there?” Karina asked with her bangs covering her face, as if masking her rage.
“S-since the beginning?” Winter replied with a stutter.
Karina raised her head and looked at the girls with murder in her eyes.
“Go get em girl” Was all Y/N said before all could be heard are cries of anguish that echoes throughout the building.
