Reader POV

Today was just a normal ordinary day, the team were stopping off at the pokemon centre for some rest and relaxation for a minute. I was directing my team, preparing for our next winning performance, because I knew that it would be the best performance, ’till the world ends. 

“Come look Y/n!” Serena called for me, I ran over and saw that she had a screen up with Monsieur Pierre and Mademoiselle Aria on it.

“Hello our wonderful showcasers!” Aria chuckled, waving at us. “You are invited to a party that we are hosting! This is to celebrate all of the amazing performances and outfits you’ve showcased us!” 

“Yes! And the only entry requirements are that you must bring a date and to also have fun!” Pierre said. “We hope to see you there!”

“Au revior!” They both said in unison.

“Well, we all know who’s going to be your date, Y/n!” Ash chuckled.

“Yup! Thanks Ash for agreeing to be my date.” I laughed. “I’m just joking!”

“So that means that, Clemont and Y/n; Ash and Serena are the two dates.” Bonnie started fifth wheeling. 

“Bunnelby and Pampour?” I asked Clemont.

“I guess so.” He replied. He got Bunnelby out as I got Pampour out.

We then set off towards the Chateau where the party was to be set. I had to admit, Bunnelby and Pampour didn’t leave each others sides the whole way there. On our way we met Miette, Leo and Joaquin. Joaquin and Leo had new pokemon.

“Joaquin and Leo!” I turned to them. Leo had a Simisear beside him and Joaquin had a Simisage next him.

“We wanted have a sort of theme going!” They both said before we had entered the building.

“Please take these cards for a special event later.” The receptionist welcomed us. “And to your left we have outfits to rent out.” 

That was all I needed to know, outfits were my specialty. As the huge red baize doors opened, it was like a unicorn had shat glitter all over the room, it was awesome. My jaw hit the ground.

“Come on pretty boy! We’ve got a lot of work to do.” I pulled Clemont by the arm, our pokemon following in suit.

I pulled a few costumes together and whipped out my scissors and my sewing machine. I ran to the nearest table and cut away at the costumes to create an original piece for me. Clemont had fount a white and Gold outfit he had liked, I had added a few embellishments just because it looked boring without them. Our pokemon had mini bowties on, Pampour having an offset, mini top hat, in my outfits’ colours; Bunnelby having a monocle, similar to the one Clemont wore.

My outfit consisted of a palazzo fit-high waisted pair of royal blue trousers. A formal shirt with a royal blue waistcoat with silver embellishments. I had a silver ascot on with a thick blue stripe down it, the ascot also had a water stone jewel in it.  I also had a pair of deep blue boot heels just for an extra campy aspect. In addition, I wore a huge train, which gave the illusion of a ballgown however I still wore a pair of trousers.

“Wow! You look amazing Y/n.” Clemont 

“Thanks, do you think I overdid it?” I asked, holding Clemonts hands.

“Of course not, this is your style and I’m here for it.” Clemont gulped. “Slay the house down.”

“I love you.” I giggled as we walked towards the others, we were all gathered into the grand Atrium. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and Pierre and Aria were in the spotlight, Pierre’s blue light seemed to make his face even more beautiful than it already was. As for Aria, her yellow light radiated her positive aura.

“And now, the dancefloor is all yours my friends!” Pierre stood back and allowed us to dance.

“Shall we?” I held my hand out to Clemont. He took it, shaking in his boots.

We began to do a simple Waltz Box step. However Clemont was very stiff, moving like a robot.

“Calm down, relax your body and just flow.” Clemont held onto the dominancy. 

“Follow my lead.” I replied. I then took control of the dance; Clemont had loosened up and started to get the swing of it. 

We danced together, others stared at us in shock, I felt Clemont tense up again.

“Focus on me, my eyes, my face, anything that will draw your attention away from everything else. I whispered in his ear.

After a few more minutes of dancing. Clemont and I had split away from each other and moved in a circle to different dance partners. I had come into contact with a beautiful male, who reminded me of Rowan, from the Flower shop. 

“You’re a really good dancer, sir.” He pulled me close to him, my face going bright red. We then moved again, I had next gotten to dance with Ash.

“After a few times you kinda get the hang of it.” I chuckled, watching the boy struggle to remember the steps. He did manage to spin me around before I was passed along to the next person, who happened to be Pierre himself.

“Well well, its been a while since we met in person.” He held my hand and danced with me.

“It truly is Pierre.” I allowed him to spin me around.

“You dance really gracefully, I’d expect nothing less.” Pierre smiled before ending the dances. 

I had then regrouped with the others and the main event began to take place.

“Now for our main event! There is only one battle that happens in Showcases, that being at the end with the reigning Kalos King or Queen. So take this as a treat! We will be hosting a tag battle!” Pierre said.

“Yes! Please raise your cards to the light, if you have a mark you will be one of our contestants.” Aria smiled.

I pointed my card towards the air and noticed a crown appearing above the pokeball, I guess I was a lucky one.  I was battling with Serena and battling against, Miette and Joaquin, it was going to be a rocking battle.

“Now lets get going with this battle!” Pierre said. “Battle begin!”

“Alright then! Pampour! Use Hydro pump in the air!” I instructed. Just as Joaquin began to attack back.

“Use Energy ball!” He shouted.

“Use Energy ball too!” Miette followed. 

“Swift!” Serena covered for me.

Just as the battle began to get heated, both of our team were falling short. They were getting beaten quite quickly. 

“Simisage, use Solar beam on Pampour!” Joaquin pointed towards my pokemon, before I could do anything the move had hit, sending my pokemon flying into a wall, however Pampour got up. Eevee was in a bad state. However I noticed something glisten out of the corner of my eye. A glowing blue ribbon outstretched and grabbed Serena’s hand. The pokemon got up and faced the opposition. It fully glowed, I looked at my pampour and looked at my ascot.

“Pampour, we’ll never beat them alone! So what’s say we introduce them to a stronger version of us?” I asked. I got a nod in approval. Ripping the water stone off of my ascot I threw it towards Pampour, it caught it and was next surrounded in that blue light.

“A double evolution!? I’ve never seen this before!” Pierre was gooped and gagged.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage Simipour!” I smiled.

“And Sylveon!” Serena smiled.

“Lets hit them with this new move Simipour!” I shouted. “Use Brick break on Simisage!”

“We’ll use Brick break as well!” Joaquin’s eyes widened, fury in them.

As the two brick breaks came face to face. Sparks flew between them before I called out.

“Simipour! Use Blizzard!” I called. My pokemon considerably injuring Simisage. “Now go in with Acrobatics!” 

“Use Fairy wind!” Sylveon gave Simipour a boost which was used to destroy both pokemon in one swoop.

“We have our winners! Congratulations to Y/n and Serena!” We took a bow as the crowed cheered for us.

“Simipour! You were awesome!” I hugged my pokemon, tears in my eyes.

“And so were you; You looked amazing while you did it.” Clemont hugged me too.

“And with that said! ‘Tis time to reveal the details for the next Showcase!” Aria spoke gracefully.

“The next Showcase will be held in Fleurrh City! As for the themed challenge…Bring your best act! As we are holding “The Showcasers Star Spotted Variety show!” You will be asked to showcase your secret talents to a live audience, so make sure they’re polished!” Pierre pointed his stick towards us.

“As for the runway. Category is… Masquerade Marvels! Bring your best Masquerade Ball looks and shock the audience with them!” Aria couldn’t contain herself. “Ooh! I’ve always wanted to say that.”

And as we all exited the Chateau, the sun began to set and we had all parted ways with the others.

“And as for you Y/n!” Joaquin spun around to me. “We’ll settle this in the next showcase!”

He said that before running off, we then parted from the others.

“I’m going to win the next Showcase, for sure!” I smiled.
