Kalos King- Pokemon Xyz X Male Reader “Determined by Science!” – 18

Hey all! I made configurations to our reader! Its they’re new outfit! Once again, I mean this truely. The character I made and the outfit too, are completely up for you to decide how they look. Its just a bit of a preset to those who wish to follow a character already made, or for those who can’t be bothered to make a whole new character just for this story.

Reader POV

After what happened in Coumarine city a couple of days ago really awakened something in me to become free and live my truth, and to especially not hide who I am to anyone. This inspired me to become a whole new me. I got a full blown makeover, I bought some new clothes with my winning money and changed up my hair. I also stocked up on potions, antidotes and Pokeballs to catch even more of these lovely creatures. 

Currently, we were walking through the Lumiose Badlands, heading towards Lumiose city. Ash had challenged Clemont to a battle, so we stopped for lunch. Serena and Bonnie took care of the lunch, with our pokemon, whilst I helped judge the battle.

“Hm, we’re running out of food and there isn’t anything out here.” Serena huffed.

“No problem, with my newest team member, I’m sure it’ll help.” I chuckled. I released Pampour from its pokeball and said. “Pampour, your ability is Gluttony, right? Please can you go find us some food for us to put into the lunch?” 

Pampour nodded and shot away, looking for our lunch. Meanwhile, I began to judge the battle between ash and Clemont. Clemont got wrecked pretty badly in the battle. He seemed very out of touch. I wanted to see what was up with him, but Pampour had returned with a couple of goodies.

“Good job buddy.” I chuckled, making Pampour return. We then proceeded eat lunch, I kept watch over Clemont and he didn’t eat as much as he usually does. After lunch we started to walk towards the Lumiose power plant. This was because Clemont helped program the place. I hung back with him. I got really worried for him, I hoped it wasn’t heat stroke. I mean, I was lucky to have Swablu resting on my head, to protect me from the sun.

On our way in, something was strange. All of the electric type pokemon started to act up. When we tried to get closer to them, they fired a group thunderbolt, which took down my swablu in the process, as it was a flying type. 

“Swablu!” I carried it in my arms. “Return for now.”

“Lets go!” Ash ran ahead of us. 

It was a very peculiar sight, all of the electric type pokemon, in the area collected in front of the a door to the power plant. We tried to get in with them, but the door closed on us. Clemont said that there were air vents, which we were able to get into.  We ran over to them and the vents spun really quickly.

“Let me handle this.” I said. “Pampour! Use Ice beam!”

Pampour burst out of its pokeball and quickly froze the vents in ice, we all then clambered into the vent, it got smaller and smaller as we went. 

“This is a really uncomfortable feeling.” Ash, who was behind me, remarked.

“You can say that again.” I huffed, looking directly at Clemont’s ass. 

Suddenly, we all fell through the vent and landed in front of a bunch of tied up workers, they claimed that a man, a woman and a talking meowth had infiltrated the building. We did untie the workers, as they let us find Team rocket. The men spoke about unlocking the doors, we then decided to brute force the first bulkhead door open. Everyone got their pokemon out, including me.

“Pampour, use acrobatics!” I shouted. Each of our pokemon hit the door and managed to get it open. 

after running around for a bit, we stumbled into the room with team rocket in. It was a huge room, but they spotted us easily. However, instead of fighting us, they let the pokemon do their dirty work. They said they were going to control Lumiose city with this power. But we wouldn’t let them. The workers mentioned about reversing the current when the light went red. However the light hadn’t gone red yet. 

Within seconds, ash had a horrific electric shock going through him by his pikachu. I couldn’t bear watching him suffer. However when he made contact with his Pikachu, it changed, they both seemed happy with each others presence. But they cranked up the sound waves. It made Luxio advance. Clemont acted in the same way ash did, by accepting a current of electricity jolt through him. I couldn’t bear to see him get shocked either.

“I’m going to help.” I said, just as the light turned red. “Pampour! Use attract!”

Pampour was surrounded by a pink glow before blowing a kiss, hearts flew out from its tiny stature and infatuated only half of the pokemon there. Within seconds, Clemont managed to subdue Luxio, which also ended up making it evolve into a stunning Luxray.

“Woah! Clemont that’s so cool!” I cheered. All of the electric type  pokemon managed to send the team flying away, thank god!

When we got outside, one of the workers were outside, in a helicopter, preparing to leave for Lumiose city. Clemont stepped forward, I already knew what he was going to ask.

“May I come with you to Lumiose city?” He asked, my heart sank, but I knew it was for the best.

The worker agreed, we were all stunned. But it was for Clemont, he needed to train for His and Ash’s Gym battle. I felt sad to see him leave, but I anticipated seeing him all strong and stuff.

“Before I go.” Clemont came up to me. Without any hesitation from him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled him into a hug. He then whispered in my ear. “I’ll miss you. So much.” 

“I’m not going to die Clemont, its fine.” I chuckled. “And remember. Its not the end, just until we meet again.” (Bonus points if you guess the reference)

We then split from our hug and he went into the Helicopter, Bonnie stayed with us, Clemont had trusted Serena and I to take care of her. As the boy began to fly away, Pampour looked at me. It smiled and then used attract. It was just one heart, but it was powerful. It headed towards Clemont in the Helicopter, it landed right where his heart was. He seemed shocked for a second before smiling. The door was then closed and he flew off into the sunset. 

Pampour looked at me and smiled. I turned to see Serena wink at me. Both of them now knew what was up between me and Clemont.

Really hope you enjoyed this chapter! I may or may not have a couple of things planned for the next few chapters! (Also, I would also like ideas for a Mega stone holder for an Altaria. I’ve made a sort of jewelry piece for the Key stone, but I just need the mega stone holder.)
