Reader POV
Today was an exciting day, as Serena and I had just come off of momentous wins at the pokemon Showcase. I was proudly representing my home town and the world was starting to know it. All over pokevision and on pretty much every news casting platform, there was a headline with the clip of me and Clemont flying over the audience. But now we were sat in the pokemon centre, just about to head out to the Anistar City gym to watch Ash’s battle with Olympia.
“Ash, I’m keeping my lips sealed for this one. I know the abilities of Olympia and her team.” I started as we walked out of the Pokemon centre. Ash suddenly broke into a full sprint, just to get to the gym. However our sprint was cut short as we saw smoke arising from the sundial. I looked at ash and said. “We need to check this out.”
Ash nodded and we ran towards the action. There was a familiar looking girl, no older than my age. She had a sigilyph and was destroying the scientific equipment that belonged to Professor Sycamore. She then turned to me and Ash and said.
“The ones who follow along side it.” She growled. “Sableye! Use Power gem!”
As the Sableye was released It charged up the power gem and released it.
“Pampour! Use Hydro Pump!” I shouted. The Hydro pump managed to deflect the power gem.
The others got behind us and Ash and I began to battle. We managed to beat her, that was when I heard the voice I remembered.
“Carrie?” I asked. She hesitated for a second before throwing another pokeball out. However it was lifted away from her by psychic energy. Floating high above her was Olympia. I was astounded by her work.
“Stand down Carrie.” She ordered. The young girl tried to say something but was quickly shut down. “Do you not hear me!?”
“We simply come here to collect Carrie and amend her mistakes.” Olympia floated down towards us. “I have also come to collect Jack, as there are things I must discus with him.”Â
“Ms Olympia, what is it that you ask of me?” I fell to my knee and bowed.
“This is not needed young one.” She used her psychic to lift me off the ground. “The others know of your arrival here in Anistar, but do not know that you’ll be accompanying me to see them.”
“What is going on here?” The others, including the professor were astounded.
“What was this threat?” Sycamore asked.
“In Olympia’s vision, we saw a great threat heading towards Kalos, and you’re lives are Intertwined. And you-.” Another familiar face, Charlene, was interrupted by Olympia.
“Enough Charlene!” Lady Olympia ordered. Charlene fell silent. “We must discuss this at the gym.”
As we walked into the gym I fell silent, it was just as I remembered it. What made it even better, I still had a bit of psychic touch in me.Â
“You still have it in you I see.” Olympia spoke to me. I looked down and saw the others way below me, I panicked and plummeted to the ground, however I regained my control.
“Wow Jack! How are you doing that? You never told us you could do that!” Bonnie shouted.
“Its been such a while, years even.” I chuckled. I swiftly got down to the ground and held Bonnie’s hand. “Hold on tight.”
After saying that, she gripped onto my hand and we ascended upwards.
“Ash! Your frogadier had many trainers. However two stand before you.” I listened to Olympia and placed bonnie down with the others. I floated down towards Ash.
“What are you saying?” Ash asked.
“You’re not suggesting?” My eyes widened as I looked down at the frogadier.
“I am not suggesting, I’m telling.” Olympia’s cloak spread open and a vision Illuminated from it. It showed the day that my froakie got taken from me in the café.
“After Jack failed to get froakie back, the perpetrator released the pokemon from its pokeball and left it there, in an alleyway. That was when Froakie had decided to only take worthy trainers, those who would fight for it. Froakie made its way back to the pokemon centre that same day, just as Jack was leaving the City.” Olympia read. “Ash then took in that same frogadier.”
“Frogadier, I’m sorry.” I turned to it and it turned to me. “I’m sorry for leaving you in that café. But I’m happy you got a new trainer, one of the best out there.”
The frogadier seemed sorry too, but then Olympia turned to me and said.
“Jack, this morning, I saw another vision, of you.” Charlene and Carrie were both shocked.
“Lady Olympia, you did not tell us this!” They remarked.
“What made me more anxious was that it was…..unclear!” We all gasped, apart from Ash, Bonnie, Serena and Clemont.
“Impossible! I wont believe it!” Charlene defied.
“Exactly, that is why I need your help Jack, help me see this vision of yours.” Lady Olympia asked of my help.
“Of course.” I said.
“That still doesn’t explain how you can float!” Clemont remarked.
“Fine, I’ll tell.” I stared, and also started floating in the air. “When I was younger, I was in a club of young psychics, I stood out from the rest, I was able to do things they couldn’t, like float. We were trained by Olympia. When things went wrong at the Sundial, my parents took me out of the club and I stopped practicing.”Â
“Exactly, now lets do this vision.” Olympia had a cloak psychically attach to my body. “I also brought an old friend to help.”
She handed me the pokeball, it was a bit scratched and old but I remembered the pokemon very well. Those pink beady eyes and grey fluffy body, memories.
“Come out Espurr!” I chuckled, releasing the tiny pokemon. The Espurr knew exactly who I was and smiled at me.
“Now, lets make light out of the darkness.” I chuckled.
“Yes.” The floaty woman started the vision.
“Espurr! Use Calm mind!” I closed my eyes and Espurr used calm mind, on Olympia and me.
Within seconds we both saw it. However it was still blurred. I couldn’t make anything of it whereas Olympia could. “I see! I see that stars! They intertwine with such complexity it creates a blur. However, one thing for certain…When the time comes your stars will align and all of your hurt will be spun into gold dust.” Suddenly, we both saw something happen at the Sundial.Â
“The Sundial! It is under siege!” We said in tandem. I broke from the vison and ran with the others.
“Espurr! Use helping hand!” I shouted. I then ran out of the gym and towards the Sundial. The others followed suit.
Once I got there I floated adjacent to the Sundial. I saw the greedy evil. Team rocket of course.
“Team rocket! Do not touch the Sundial!” I shouted. They mocked me and got their Gouregiest to attack me. However, Espurr took the bullet seed for me. It fell to the ground and I shielded it. It was history repeating itself. I had gotten flashbacks to when I saved Swablu. Just as I said that, all of my pokemon shot out of their pokéballs without instruction and protected me. Florges had used Vine whip to create a barrier between team rocket and me. Pampour had used Acrobatics to take hits on the thieves. Altaria had used moonblast to hit the balloon. I saw the others and they tried to run over but something blocked them, some sort of barrier.Â
“Espurr? Are you ok?” I looked at them. “I’m sorry for leaving you all those years ago. But all of these pokemon and people are here to help, they’re my friends, and you still are too.”Â
Within seconds, a blue light burst from underneath me after the light had subsided. I saw a beautiful blue Meowstic. Together, with the help of my pokemon and Olympia’s future sight, we beat the thieves and sent them packing.Â
Olympia then floated down towards me, the others had caught up to me. Lady Olympia had smiled at me and said.
“He’s a beautiful female Meowstic now thanks you you Jack.” Olympia held out the pokeball. “And that is why I foresee you’re team expanding by one more.”Â
“Really!” I smiled. I took the pokeball and thrusted it into the air. “Welcome to the team Meowstic.”
“I HAVE A MEOWSTIC!”Â
