Kalos King- Pokemon Xyz X Male Reader “From A to Z!” – 33

Hey! Hope you don’t mind the late posting! Hope you enjoy the chapter! PS! I did change the gender of Meowstic because the Female Meowstic is the only one which can lean future sight so hope you all don’t mind that either!

Reader POV

It was a new day, a new chapter! For me at least. Many things have changed, we got new pokedex’s is just one of them. My biggest worry about going on a journey was the eventual trip back to Anistar City, but it turned out amazingly! And now, I only needed one more key to enter the Master Class tournament. However, for now, I felt like I had changed, and much like my inner feelings, my wardrobe needs to change.  Currently, the team and I were heading along the road to Snowbell city, but we were going to stop off at the pokemon centre first.

“What is that!?” I fell out of my daydream to hear bonnie bursting out in fits of laughter. In her hands she had a green blob, a pokemon which I’ve never seen before. We tried to scan it through our pokedex’s but it didn’t come up with anything. Squishy was the name it was called by bonnie.

Suddenly, a furious screech came through the bushes, A heard of Doduo exploded through the bushes, with a Grovile chasing after them. Suddenly, the familiar face of Sawyer appeared, he managed to get his pokemon under control before saying hi to us. I noticed that Squishy slipped away from the others, so I decided to follow it. 

We ended up in this sort of Quarry. Looking around I noticed another team of sort, they looked like scientists, but I’d seen the colours of their uniforms from somewhere, The symbol on their uniform I’d seen before for definite. I knew something wasn’t right was up, so I hid behind the tree.

“Meowstic, use Future sight, we might need it later.” I released meowstic and it used future sight. Olympia can time Future sight, I can’t so it made it difficult to know when it’s going to happen.

Within seconds, an explosion happened, A purple haired woman and her Drapion had attacked squishy. I felt like I needed to intervene. So I did, bit of a mistake.

“Meowstic! Use Shadow ball!” I shouted, the shadow ball had landed on Drapion, I flew out of the bushes and stood my ground.

“Who do you think you are!?” The woman screamed.

“My name’s Y/n. What’s yours?” I chuckled. I looked beside me and I saw Ash and Sawyer. “Its about time you guys got here.”

“Let Squishy go!” Bonnie and I shouted.

“Its ours now.” She chuckled. “Drapion! Use Sludge Bomb on that Meowstic and that Pikachu!” 

“Double it up?” Ash fist bumped me.

“Sure.” I replied. We then said, In sync. “USE IRON TAIL!”

As the woman retreated we got squishy back, however the houndour had chased after us. Suddenly, two portals opened up and Psychic stones landed on the ground, buying us the time to run.

“Use psychic!” I said and meowstic lifted us away from the danger, far away.

After we had gotten to a clearing, Clemont suggested the Idea of camping out that night. We all agreed and released out pokemon.

“Take a rest team!” I threw my pokeballs up into the air and my team exploded out of their respective pokeballs.

“Wow Y/n! You have a pretty stacked team since I last saw you!” Sawyer took notes on my pokemon. “Altaria, Florges, Panpour and a Meowstic!”

“Thanks so much!” I chuckled. I next pulled out my sewing Kit and machine and continued to sew an outfit I had been making.

Sawyer started taking about terminus cave, a place I’ve always wanted to visit. Terminus cave, a place which house pokemon I’ve never seen before. It would be an amazing experience, and it was on the way to the Snowbell City Gym too. 

When it got proper dark we decided to pack it in for the night and go to bed. Half way during our sleep time, Squishy caused havoc, jumping on everyone. I was tired and cold but we all dragged each other out of bed to help get squishy. 

When we found them, Bonnie cowered over squishy, it looked in a bad state. I knew what I had to do.

“Altaria! Lets amp this up ten fold!” I shouted, releasing the pokemon. “Use Dragon Rush!”

As Altaria used dragon rush, I noticed something with my mega bracelet. It was starting to fracture and break, not the stone, just the metal holding it. I was contemplating getting the stone transferred, and this only etched me to do so more. I was distracted when Altaria got hit pretty badly.

“You guys go! We’ve got this!” Ash and Sawyer shouted. 

“Ok, be safe!” The rest of us shouted as we ran the opposing direction.

After we had gotten to a stream, or so I thought. I let altaria out and it was really hurt. I looked around me and saw that the others hadn’t followed behind. There was nothing that could help us. What made it even worse was that there was someone standing in front of me. It was an orange haired lady, in the same outfit as the other woman was wearing.

“So, where did you hide Z?” She got closer to me and altaria.

“We wont tell!” I shouted.

“Well in that case, Your Altaria would look good on my team.” The ginger chuckled. “Druddigon use Dragon Claw.”

My fear grew so immense, I got struck down with a painful dragon claw. I was hit against a tree and I felt sore. I couldn’t move. Druddigon picked up my defenceless altaria. My fear and pain mixed and fuelled a ferocious anger within me.

“ALTARIA IS MINE! GIVE IT BACK!” I screamed.

“Blah blah!” The woman mocked me and walked away.

Something within me erupted, fuelled with adrenaline and anger, I was tipped over the edge. I launched towards the ginger and tripped her up, as she fell to the floor I took is as my Opportunity to take Altaria and run. It was heavy but I tried my best. I didn’t get that far before Druddigon caught up.

“Use Dark Pulse!” It was like a minefield, explosions happening everywhere and anywhere. I managed to run to where everyone else was. I collapsed over altaria just as the next Dark pulse hit. “I’ll be taking Altaria now.”

“Over my dead, cold, callous body, YOU BITCH!” I screamed. The others were prepared to fight for me but something strange and extremely unusual happened.

White lights extended from my heart, and connected with Altaria. My pokemon rose from its position and mega evolved without instruction. 

“Altaria! You mega evolved? But how?” I questioned. 

“This just took a fun turn!” The evil woman’s malicious words rung through my head. She just pointed and her pokemon attacked.

“Altaria! Use Moonblast!” I shouted. 

And it was like that, Druddigon had fainted almost immediately. Altaria had returned to its usual form, it hugged me and I felt much better already.  We looked back and the ginger was no where to be seen.

As the sun began to rise, we all thanked Sawyer for battling with us and said our goodbyes to him. Clemont came up to me and said.

“That was Incredible Y/n.” He said. “You didn’t even need to use your mega stone. It glowed but nothing more.”

“I can assure you, when I get to the nearest town, I’m going to change it up. I’ve passed a huge milestone and I want to celebrate.” I put my hand close to Clemont’s as we trailed to the back of the group. We then slipped our pinkie fingers together. It felt lovely.
