Hey all, this is a rarity! I don’t normally write two chapters one after the other! Hope you enjoy the chapter!

Reader POV
It was the next morning of our summer camp. I was excited for what was to come! We ended up starting the day with a run along the beach, as per Serena’s request. I noticed Clemont falling behind.
“Clemont, hold my hand.” I reached out my hand for the boy to take. He took a deep breath and took my hand. I pulled him up and onto my shoulders. I began to run after the others.
“Wow!” Ash remarked. “Y/n. I didn’t know you could do that.”
“Don’t underestimate my strength.” I put Clemont down. His cheeks however went red, it was probably because of his running today.
After the run, we were all gathered in the hall to eat and to be told what our next activity was. We were sat with Team Squirtle, so it would definitely be fun. The professor had told us, that for this activity, we were making our own Pokevision Videos. I was excited as I’d never made one before and was eager to make one. In our teams, we were going to create a legendary pokevision video so that we could win those stunning 10 points.
“That’s a cool concept, Serena!” I said. I looked forward to making our video, with all of our Pokémon in it. We now needed to find a spot for it. So thus began the search.
The team walked through the forest and Serena had found a perfect spot, right in between the trees, in a flower glade. Serena, however, ran towards the field, dragging me along with her, and caused me and her to fall down the cliff face as a piece of rock collapsed under foot. We tumbled down the hill and landed on our faces. Serena asked if I was ok, to which I responded with yes. I asked her if she was ok and she did the same. We were told to hang tight and wait for help. It was just me and Serena now.
“Swablu. Come out.” I released my pokemon from its pokeball to keep us company.
“I still can’t get over how pretty your swablu is Y/n.” Serena sat down on the rock.
“Thanks a bunch. And to think, my first pokemon could’ve been an Onix.” I chuckled.
“Really?” Serena asked.
“Yeah, my dad wanted to pick out a strong pokemon for me to have as my first. So he chose Onix, out of three pokemon. They were, Lapras, Onix or Malamar. I didn’t know why he did what he did, but I know that I can’t forgive him or anyone for what they did to me. It was wrong.” I hugged my Swablu. “My goal, its to become Kalos King yes, but winning that title and the money isn’t the thing.”
“No?” Serena questioned.
“…not entirely. I want a platform to speak for other little boys and girls who grew up in a household where they can’t express their freedom, that its ok to be who you are. And that you shouldn’t let others dictate your life. That’s why I’m here, I ran away. For freedom, and to express my love for guys. I mean performances!”
“Wait…did you just say you like guys?” Serena’s eyes opened wide.
“Fine, I do. But please don’t tell anyone. I’m not ready for that secret to be spilled yet.” I huffed.
“Of course.” She said. “Your secret is safe with me, Y/n.”Â
After accidentally coming out to Serena, help had arrived to lift us out of the ridiculously deep ravine. After we were lifted out of the ravine, we were given the all clear to go towards the flower glade. Once we reached it we began to shoot our Pokevision video.
A little while later after filming our video’s we got up to show the rest of the camp. I was scared as we were the last team left to show our video. I only really payed attention to my part, to make sure I looked the best presented as I could be. After the voting had finished, the Professor announced the winners.
“And in first place we have, Team Froakie!” We jumped up and down and rejoiced with pure excitement. The day ended up finishing on a high and team froakie was 10 points richer. After that we retired to our cabins, specifically our beds as we were all tired from the day’s amazing activities.
A few days later
A couple of days later, we had finally finished our summer camp training, and were headed off for a place called Lagoon town. I had important business there, that day was going to take me one step closer to my goal. I had already set up everything that was necessary so that I could reach my goal. It was just a matter of staying calm and focussing on the task in hand.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. Hope you enjoyed the chapter! Sorry, it kinda tailed off towards the end. I just didn’t want to write the full eps of the summer camp, as it’s kinda boring, lmao. So I’m skipping to the exhibition match in Lagoon town, but it has a twist, a stunning and quite spectacular twist.
