Hey! Sorry for my absence, I’ve just been relaxing on holiday for a bit. Hope you enjoy the chapter. Once again, a couple of sewing terms here!

Reader POV
After watching Valerie’s intense battle with Ash, it made me think about my own battling skills. You see, in the Princes Cup, at the finale the Current Kalos King and the final Prince must battle it out in four challenges, A themed challenge, a battle, a finale runway look and a finale performance. A lot of Prince’s who have failed in the past forget to recognise that the whole of the kalos region also vote on battle skills and performance skills intertwined with each other.
As we were about to leave the Pokemon Centre, with our new friend Sawyer. We were met with a Photographer.
“Hello, is this Y/n?” He looked at Clemont.
“No..! No sir! He’s Y/n.” Clemont pointed to me.
“Yeah, I’m Y/n, what did you need?” I asked.
“Hello Y/n, I’m a photographer called Jean. I was wondering if you had the time to model in the photo’s for Valerie’s latest Collection.” The photographer, Jean, asked.
“Um, I’m not sure. You see, me and my friends were going to get go-!” I was interrupted by Ash.
“Just do it Y/n. We don’t need to leave today. We were going to help Sawyer train for the pokemon battle.” Ash said.
“Alright then.” I said, picking up my bag and accidentally released pampour onto my shoulder. I then left with Jean and we walked towards the set.Â
Once we got there, I saw Valerie and a couple of other models, Valerie looked at me and smiled. After, Valerie spoke to us.
“It is so lovely to see all of you beautiful people helping us with the launch of our collection.” She spoke so softly. “The aim of our collection is to spread awareness of Pokemon abuse and to create an image of how humans and pokemon can live together, in a better society.”
She cuddled her Spritzee with so much emotion. I then put pampour back in its pokeball.
The first model was already dressed and prepared. We all had to sit and get our makeup and costume done, the costume and makeup were all inspired by pokemon crossed with streetwear. My inspired pokemon was a pokemon of which I didn’t have much experience with its type, I was also given the pokeball to help me get to know it a bit more. The pokemon was Scrafty. I released it next to me and smiled at it. I noticed its facial expression drop. It seemed that scrafty wasn’t that expressive.
“Well you’re a funny one.” I chuckled, petting its head. I then fed it a berry from my bag. “Your ability is Moxie right? That confidence is what I need to project in this photoshoot.
When it came down to my photoshoot. I was dressed in a rather comfy streetwear look, inspired by the scrafty’s relaxed nature, I had some aspects of gothic and punk imprints as it connotes the Dark typing in scrafty. We were stood next to a brick wall with graffiti on it. Jean told us that we could do whatever we liked for the shoot.
“Alright, Scrafty please can you hold the spraypaint can, hold the can and put a finger on the spray nozzle.” I instructed, Scrafty new my vision perfectly. “Now let’s go back to back.”
Scrafty and I posed the same way and we both looked at the camera with wide expressions, a light was shone onto us as a spotlight and the perfect photo was taken. It was next time to get ready for my other photoshoot.Â
I had to return scrafty, which was a shame because working with scrafty was fun. When I had sat back down in the chair, I had noticed my bag had gone missing, I thought nothing of it as it was probably moved. As I sat down in the chair, I was given my next pokemon to have my photoshoot with. I was stunned at what it was.
“Gothitelle!?” I gasped, releasing the pokemon. “I’ve never actually seen a Gothitelle before. It’s nice to meet you.”
The Gothitelle shook my hand and I observed its behaviour. I was astound to see that it was rather kind towards others. I looked at this Gothitelle’s moves, it was quite varied.
“Its time for your costume Y/n.” Valerie said.Â
She pulled me into a pop up dressing room and I was shocked to see the rack. It was a choice of two options. A floor length ball gown with a pattern which was inspired by Gothitelle, a wired corsage with parts which stuck out further than the arms did and wrapped around to the back. It was a stunning piece. And then there was a suit, which wasn’t really that glamorous.
“We were supposed to have a woman do this shoot, but she was ill.” She drew my attention to the suit.
“Can I wear it?” I asked.
“Wear what darling?” Valerie looked at me, confused.
“The dress, can I wear the dress?” I pleaded.
“Sure, but it may not fit.” Valerie chuckled.
“I’ll have to alter it slightly to fit my body type but I can make it work, I promise.” I said. Valerie game me the dress and a sewing machine, with that, I got to work.
After I had finished, I walked out and all of the models gasped in awe. I had transformed a basic ball gown. Into a regal, yet warrior-style train. I kept the corsage pretty much the same, but the skirt was a whole different story. I had sewn in the hoopskirt to the fabric and cut out the middle to have some separation. I had made a belt similar to the lining of the top of the bust, to sinch in the waist, and to also hide the ugly parts that I accidentally messed up on. You may be wondering about what I’m wearing to cover downstairs. It was a simple high waisted pair of black bikini bottoms. I did have to tuck with duct tape, which wasn’t too fun. (If you don’t know what tucking is, please go look it up, as it’s pretty painful.) But it was for a photoshoot, so I wouldn’t be doing any running or anything like that. I had a pair of black high heels on to go with it. And a pair of black elbow-length gloves to boot.
“How did you do this!?” Valerie gasped in shock.
“I’m sorry if I ruined it.” I apologised.
“It looks amazing!” Valerie shrieked in joy.
“I’m out here breaking Gender norms and Stereotypes.” I chuckled, before being thrown into the photoshoot.
In the shoot, we were half way into it before I heard a massive explosion. I looked towards the cloud of dust arising into the air, and I saw a glass box, with all of my pokemon in it and also my friends pokemon in it. It was my duty to help them.Â
“Jean, Valerie. I need to go help my friends, and my pokemon!” I said, running towards the pokemon.Â
As I ran, beside me I had looked at saw Gothitelle next to me. It smiled at me as it used Psychic to get me above a huge brick wall and into a garden, where I saw the others.
“Inkay use Psybeam!” I heard James shout.
“Pumpkaboo! Use Dark Pulse!” Jesse screamed.
“Stop that right now!” I yelled. “Gothitelle! Use Hyper Beam!”
As Gothitelle released the powerful move, it gave me time to run in front of the others.Â
“Hey guys.” I chuckled. “You like the fit?”
“Thats awesome Y/n!” Bonnie and Serena cheered.
“You look like one of those people in that Musical Y/n!” Ash and Sawyer said.
“What musical?” I asked.
“Moulin Rouge the pokemon Musical.” Clemont blushed.
“Inkay use Psybeam once more!” James ordered.
“Use Shadow ball!” Pumpkaboo followed Jesse’s instructions.
I looked at the glass tank with all of our pokemon in it and smiled.
“Ash, You might want to watch closely at this next move!” I chuckled, Ash looked at me, then at gothitelle. “Gothitelle! Use Future Sight on the Glass Box! Follow that up with a dark pulse on Pumpkaboo!”Â
Pumpkaboo was taken down in one after the future sight was launched, everyone was confused at that move, but I knew how it worked thanks to a certain person who loved to destroy her opponents with that move. “Now use Thunderbolt on Inkay!”Â
After the Thunderbolt paralyzed Inkay. I started to countdown.
“3…2…1…Now!” I shouted, just as the Future sight had shattered the glass box, releasing my pokemon.
“I’ll leave this up to you guys now.” I chuckled.
After we saw that the team of thieves had been sent flying, Jean and Valerie had shown up. They thanked me for my help in saving the city. However it was now time to finish the photoshoot and return Gothitelle. The photoshoot went so well though, and I was extremely pleased. I had also heard that they were being posted on Pokevision, which would be amazing.
After the others had said Goodbye to Sawyer, I had returned to the pokemon centre, in my usual clothes with all of my belongings. I was just about to miss the details for the next Showcase.Â
“Come on out team and look at this!” I let all of my pokemon out of their pokeballs.
“The next showcase is in Dendemille Town! A quaint farming village! How delightful!” Pierre and Aria announced. “But listen here folk! Category is…Fantastical Farming! We ask you to bring an outfit for you and your pokemon inspired by farmers. See you then!”
“Farming?” Serena wretched. “How am I supposed to create an outfit inspired by farming?”
“Hot glue and desperation.” I joked.
“Gah!” Serena huffed.
“What Gym are we going to next, Ash?” Clemont asked him as Serena and I rejoined the group.
“I’m not sure.” Ash sighed.
“How about here? Near Dendimille Town.” Serena pointed at a familiar sight.
“A…Anistar City!?” I gasped.
“Oh yeah! Your from there aren’t you Y/n?” Bonnie giggled before seeing my facial expression.
“We can go somewhere else If you wanted?” Ash looked at me.
“No, I need to go there, to see her.” I said. “And its towards the showcase venue so, hit two Fletchinders with one Geodude Y’know.”
“That settles it! To Anistar city!” Ash cheered.
“Um, Before you all go. I just wanted to give something to Y/n.” We turned to see Valerie standing at the door with a huge package.Â
I walked towards her and she handed me the package. She nodded for me to open the gift. I took off the box and Inside I saw Valerie’s collection outfit that I wore for the Runway show.
“Please, keep it and use it as your Performance outfit.” Valerie chuckled. Tear pricked my eyes at her gratitude.
“Wait, you really mean it..! Like really really mean it?” I asked, tears flowing down my face.
“Of course Y/n, You’ve helped me recognise that there are people out here worth helping, and I have to add, you’ve changed me as a person for definite.” She used her huge wing things and hugged me. After a lengthy hug she then needed to depart from us and head back to the gym. “Goodbye all. It was nice meeting all of you.”Â
I looked down at my costume, I saw my reflection in the fabric, and then I saw Olympia’s Reflection, she smiled at me. I smiled back at her and whispered.Â
“We will cross paths once again Olympia.” I whispered. “To Anistar City, To home.”
