Reader POV
Clemont was devastated due to Clembot Demise. It was hard to watch him cry without me crying too. I scooped him up into a hug.
“Y/n, please, just go…” He said through teary eyes. “I don’t want you to see me like this.”
“Absolutely not.” I held him firmly. “You never left my side when I lost my first Showcase in Coumarine city, so why should I leave your side now.”
He said nothing, he just cried, into my shoulder.
“Clemont, what were the words you said to me when you defended me from my parents?” I smiled at him.
“We’re his chosen family.” He sniffled.
“Yeah, I know how hard it was for you to make that decision, it was hard for me to make the decision to leave home. But through all of the trials and tribulations, we made it through. See where I’m coming from?”
“Yeah, I get you.” Clemont stood and wiped away his tears. “Chosen Families will help you through all adversity.”
“Exactly, now lets get going.” I smiled. Suddenly my head went fuzzy and I depicted an image of Olympia and her Meowstic.
“Y/n, the sundial is in grave danger! You must hurry!” She spoke in a ghostly tone.
“Y/n! Clemont!” I turned to see Ash and Alan. Suddenly Ash’s communicator flared up.
“We have a problem! The Rock absorbed Chespin! It’s turned into a huge Zygarde and is heading somewhere…” Serena and Professor Sycamore spoke.
“The sundial…” I mumbled. Ash, Alan and Clemont looked at me. “It’s heading towards the Sundial! We need to go now!”
The three of us, plus Bonnie and Blaziken Mask all hopped on a helicopter heading towards the Huge Rocky Zygarde. This fight still was not over.
“Sycamore! The Rock is heading onwards Anistar City! We are in trouble! We need to protect the sundial and rescue that Chespin!” I shouted. We were heading incredibly slowly. “We don’t have time for this!”
I stood up and opened the door of the Helicopter. I held my aces pokeball with a tight grasp.
“Y/n!? What are you doing?” Ash held my shoulder.
“Ash, our home is on the line here, and if we don’t do anything now, then… I don’t even want to think of the consequences!” I shook his hand off my shoulder. “Ash, As the Kalos King and a Ray of Hope, I will do everything in my power to protect our home.”
“Altaria! We need to go!” I threw its pokeball out. “Use Hurricane!”
After that move tried its best to hit, we saw the others helping out in the fight too. Ash was then able to see Chespin within the Rocky sculpture so he was then able to get Greninja into the fight.
“Team, I’m going to need all of your help if we’re going to take this monster down.” I held the other four poke balls I had in my hand. “We need to protect Greninja at all costs! Go everyone! Shine and protect!”
I threw my other Pokémon’s poke balls away from me. Simipour went on the back of Altaria.
“Altaria! Use Moonblast! Simipour! Hydro Pump! Florges! Petal Blizzard! Meowstic! Use Shadow Ball! Chandelure! Use Inferno!” I ordered, each one of my pokemon acting out their duties with extreme swiftness and precision. “Go! Go! GO!”
The vines that this rocky monster created were just like the ones back in Lumiose City. After a while of fighting, Altaria began to grow tired, it was attacked and began to plummet to the ground.
“ALTARIA!” I screamed, without thinking, I leapt from the Helicopter, determined to save my pokemon.
Whilst I fell, I could help but think about all of the memories Altaria and I had made together. From moments when I first met it, to running away together with nothing. We made it work together, we fought hard battles along side each other and that is what made us who we are. Together, from Swablu to Altaria, that pokemon had saved me from so much, emotionally, mentally and physically. Altaria… My love… My partner…. My friend… My family.
“Altaria, thank you for all of the moments you’ve given me.” I whispered, crying looking down at my partner, as it fell closer to the ground. Suddenly, a burst of light exploded from its chest, I looked down at my chest and saw that a light sprung from directly on my heart.
Within seconds, Altaria had shot up towards me and picked me up.
“Altaria!” I cried, Altaria and I had Mega Evolved without needing to use our Keystone or Mega stone. My outfit was also different as well as Altaria’s being.
Altaria was just like any other Mega evolved Altaria, however it had a diamond Tiara on its head, and a jewelled necklace.
I wore a white suit, sparkling and reflecting iridescent lights. I had on a crown, dripping with diamonds. I had a light blue cape with a white cotton-like trim around it. I also had a white cane with a huge Altarianite on the end of it. This transformation showed how both of us were in unison with each other, it showed our love for each other.
“Altaria!” I pointed towards the beast with my cane. “Use Moonblast! Ten Fold!”
Within seconds my pokemon had secured an extremely powerful Moonblast, in collaboration with another attack, which when I turned around I saw the 7 Gym leaders standing there, with Diantha too.
“It must not make contact with the Sundial!” Olympia shouted.
“Fall Back everyone!” Diantha shouted.
After we had fallen back, I put all of my team back in their pokeballs to recover. We needed to make a plan.
“Chespin is our first Priority.” Diantha stated. “We need to attack at once.”
“Congratulations Y/n, you and Altaria are finally connected by your love for one another.” Olympia said.
“Everyone, we’re looking at the last line of defence here.” Diantha collected everyone. “We need to attack.
“Olympia, with me!” I used my practice as a psychic to arise above the crowd, Meowstic also came out of its pokeball. “Double Future sight enhanced with Helping hand, it should give us some time to attack before a finishing blow.”
“Great idea.” Olympia replied. “Meowstic use Future sight, Meowstic use helping hand.
“Use Future sight too!” I spread my arms wide, all three Pokemon used their respective moves. Once we finished we returned to the ground. “We have around five minutes until that Future sight hits, so make every attack count. Olympia, you look out for Meowstic ok?”
“Yes.” She replied.
“Bonnie, Serena and Mairin.” I walked over to them. “Take Simipour, Chandelure and Florges. They’ll help defend you over here if anything goes wrong.”
As my team came out of their pokeballs again I said to them.
“Look after them you guys.” I gave my team one last hug before joining Clemont at the defence line.
As I stood next to Clemont I whispered.
“I’m nervous.” I whispered in his ear.
“I”ll cover your back.” He nudged me.
“Good luck kiss?” I asked. He nodded and I kissed him o the lips before returning my focus to the Rock Zygarde. “Altaria, my benevolent beauty! Mega Evolve!”
For the second time, we had transformed. I then hopped on Altaria and began to fly.
“Everyone lets go!” Diantha shouted.
We all began to run together. Jumping along the vines, flying across them. I saw ash run towards the vines, he was about to be hit.
“Altaria! Draco Meteor!” I shouted. Malva, Sycamore, Diantha, Steven, Clemont and I were creating a path to victory. “Altaria! Use Dragon rush on those vines now!”
Within seconds, vines had attacked Clemont from down below.
“Clemont!” I flew in towards him and outreached my hand. He managed to take it. And I swiftly flew us out of there. “Altaria! Use-!”
Within seconds Clemont and I had been consumed by the vines. Ash turned to us.
“Y/n! Clemont!” He screamed.
“Keep going Ash! Don’t stop now!” I screamed.
“Don’t give up!” Clemont cried.
After a couple of minutes, we had been let go of our grasp. I fell to the floor with Clemont in my arms cheering for the accomplishment we had achieved. Altaria wrapped us both in a hug. We had finally done it, Finally defeated the Rock monstrosity.
“Let’s all attack together! At once!” Diantha ordered. We all lined up together. “Now!”
“Use Moonblast!” I shouted to Altaria through the mix of everyone else’s voices. I held tightly to Clemonts hand whilst we did this. A beautiful display of our moves shot towards the target. However it didn’t fall, it got back up.
“Are you kidding me!?” I screamed. “When will this thing just die!”
Lysander stood atop the monster. He was determined to enact his goals but there was no way we were to let it go. He used an attack which Valerie was able to deflect with her Spritzees light screen.
Clemont and I fell to the ground, I protected him. Bonnie was protected by Blaziken Mask, who’s mask fell off. It was revealed to be Clemont and Bonnie’s dad who was the masked hero.
“We need to destroy that bracelet! Give it everything we have left!” Diantha ordered. We stood and all agreed.
I was a true sight to see, we fought together. With all of us in unison we all fought, however it wasn’t enough, we were all blasted, leaving us on the floor. Within seconds both Squishies began to use their powers. Grabbing together all rays of green light. They transformed into one pokemon, Zygarde 100% form.
“Zygarde, 100% Form.” I smiled.
The fight was intense, both pokemon fighting incredibly strongly. The others began using their Pokémon’s moves to attack.
By the end of the fight, the machine exploded. Zygarde enacted in one final attack. And after that attack had finished, the fight finally ended.
“Clemont!” I turned to him. “We did it!”
We hugged so tightly. Like nothing could break us apart. We looked over at Zygarde, our family. Zygarde rejuvenated the land and fixed the destruction caused. However, It was now time for them to leave. I cried seeing bonnie cry and get so emotional at reminiscing their memories. After they had disappeared. The sun began to rise.
I turned to Diantha.
“Diantha.” She looked at me. “I need you to put out a notice to the Kalos Region. I want to do a Charity performance show for those who had been affected by this attack, we need a stage set up in front of Prism tower.”
“I’ll see what I can do.” She smiled.
And just like that, we had done it, defeated this monstrosity. And now, I was anticipating what was to come.
