Kalos King- Pokemon Xyz X Male Reader “Trial Cave!” – 5

Y/N POV

Finally, we had gotten to the place called Geosenge Town. I was excited for the amazing opportunity of getting a mega stone fixed. I was annoyed that I was having Korina pay for me, since I didn’t have any other way to pay. If only my parents were here to pay for me. But they aren’t.  I was interrupted from my daydream by Serena nudging me, she pointed out an evolving helioptile into heliolisk. It was cool to see a pokemon evolve. I asked Korina about the jeweler she was going to take me to. 

“Oh yeah! Let’s go see her now!” She dragged my hand running towards a little shop on the corner of the street. Once we had gotten into the shop, the ladies face lit up in joy.

“Korina! You’re back!” She said. “It seems you’ve bought a friend!”

“Yep. This is Y/n, he is in desperate need of a Mega Stone fitting.” Korina reached into my pocket and pulled out the shiny mega stone. 

“Ah! Let me see what I can do.” The frail lady remarked.

“Great! Thank you!” Korina giggled, she then left the store to look for a lucarionite. 

After a couple of minutes, the lady came back out holding a box. She looked at me and said.

“Korina is such a sweet girl.” She said, handing me the box. “It will fit perfectly on your bow tie young sir.”

“Wow! Its so pretty!” I looked at the shiny stone and smiled. “I wish I had something to repay you.” 

“No need my dear. I do this out of my own free time, I don’t want anything out of it.” She looked at a picture on her wall, I looked at it too and was astounded. “Yes child, that’s me and my Altaria, only when we were younger. Unfortunately, my altaria is at rest now but i always keep her in my heart.” 

She held up another shiny stone, only it was bigger. 

“Thats an altarianite!” I inhaled sharply. She nodded. “I’m trying to get one for my Swablu.” 

“Ah! You can take this one my dear.” The frail old woman handed the stone towards me. 

“No, no. I can’t do that. I can’t take something that is rightfully yours.” I shook my hands.

“Very humble dear. I can tell your going to go places further than Arceus has ever been.” She smiled at me.

“Y/n! Come on!” I saw the others looking at me through the window.

“Go on my dear, it was a pleasure to meet you.” The woman chuckled. I said my goodbyes before I was whisked out of the door immediately. 

To make a long story short, We had went to the viewing point of Geosenge Town, A man took a picture of us and told us the only place we were going to find the Lucarionite was up, deep in a cave in the mountains, full of danger and scariness, We still went regardless.

Once in the cave we adventured for what seemed like hours, at least I had Swablu with me to keep me company. I was talking with Serena whilst walking.

“Don’t think I didn’t notice you blushing at that photo.” I giggled. Serena was speechless and tried to deny it.

“No! No-!” She whispered.

“Its fine, I’ll keep your little secret safe.” I said. 

“Thank you…” Serena admitted. 

We had finally gotten into the cave fully, the area was beautiful. However, I couldn’t fully take in the beauty due to the fact that Lucario was attacked by a pokemon. I recognised it but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

“Wait, isn’t that?” I pulled out my pokedex to confirm my suspicions. “Blaziken. The blaze Pokemon.”

It stood at the top of the pedestal. This was Korina’s final test.

The battle started off really rough with Lucario getting beaten up badly by Blaziken, Korina tried to help but was hit by a flamethrower, her picture that she had was burned into a crisp. Serena wanted to help but we couldn’t, this was for Lucario and Korina only. After those words were uttered, The team got their groove back. Defeating their opponent in a matter of minutes. From out of the shadow’s Korina’s grandfather appeared. He congratulated her with the lucarionite. The blonde girl was so ecstatic. Upon our exit of the cave, Gurkinn, asked me some questions.

“So Y/n? Are you planning on mega evolving your Swablu when it evolves?” He asked.

“Sure am. I just need to find a place to get an Altarianite.” I sighed.

“Well, they sure are rare. But not totally impossible to find.” The old man replied.

“Are they?” I replied.

“Yeah, you can find them up in the mountains near Frost Cavern.” Gurkinn said. “I can tell that even now you and Swablu have the bonds of Mega Evolution.” 

“Thats cool!” I looked at swablu and it smiled back at me.

Hope I didn’t do shit on my first day back to writing! As I said, ive been thru some shit recently and I decided to take some time off because of it. Hope you enjoyed! PS: I will be creating a sketch of Y/n’s outfit, Performers and casual. It might take some time to do but hopefully I can get it done and it doesn’t look shit.
