(Y/N)’s POV
i changed into something more presentable and walked out my room to the front door. Grabbing my satchel and tying the shoe lace of my boots. I looked back at the appartment one more time before i left and saw Izuku just coming out the hallway and facing me with obvious sadness.
Izuku “im sorry he’s like this, (Y/N)… i don’t understand either…”
(Y/N) “you don’t need to understand. If he doesn’t think me as his son, then i don’t see him as my dad either. It’s simple.”
Izuku “that’s cold, (Y/N)…”
(Y/N) “get used to it.”
I turned around and walked out the door before slamming it shut. I went down the stairs floor by floor until i made it to the front gates of the appartment complex to see Kamita on his motorcycle. He looked at me with worry as i put on a helmet and sat behind him.
Kamita “so… where do you wanna go?”
(Y/N) “anywhere. Just… away from all this.”
Kamita “Daichi told me that there was an arcade a bit far from here. Said it was pretty popular. Wanna go there?”
(Y/N) “yeah. Sure.”
Kamita looked ahead and put on his helmet before pulling on the gas and rode off.
*Timeskip*
We played kept playing for hours until we eventually came back out and looked up at the orange sky. Kamita decided to not take me home yet and instead brought me to a cliff overlooking the beach that Izuku cleaned up.
We sat at the ledge and just watched the sun set. Admitedly, it helped. A lot. Having someone that can help me forget that bastard even for a little bit.
Kamita “you know… you could just stay with me? The guest room is empty and it’s not like mom would mind. In fact, she’s been asking me when you’d stay over again. Like when we were kids.”
I smiled at the thought.
(Y/N) “i’d love to… and just forget about the stuff going on back at home but… what of Izuku… and mom…? I can’t just leave them. I don’t know what it is with Izuku. I HATE him but i just can’t see him gone… ugh what am i saying? You wouldn’t understand anyway.”
Kamita “well… i don’t really have a big brother, or a sibling at all to be honest but… i kind of do understand.”
I looked at Kamita with a slightly raised eyebrow.
Kamita “i always wanted a little brother and i told mom and dad about it. Of course now that i know the process, it’s a lot more awkward when i think about it but… i did sort of get a little brother… i got you.”
(Y/N) “come again?”
Kamita “You’re fun, you’re always down to play, you insult me a lot, you’re annoying as all hell. But no matter what, it hurts me when i see you unhappy.”
Kamita brought a hand up and ruffled my hair while we both laughed. After he stopped, he got up and turned around.
Kamita “welp! It’s getting dark. Do you wanna drive?” He said as he looked back at me.
(Y/N) “sure.”
Now with a smile on my face, i got up and grabbed the keys to Kamita’s motorcycle. Putting on my helmet and getting on the front of the bike woth monkey boy sitting behind me. With a twist of the gas, we were off.
The ride was smooth thanks to Kamita’s dad teaching both of us how to drive a motorcycle. I got off from the bike and Kamita moved to the front seat. He gave me a quick goodbye before riding out into the night.
With him gone, i walked back up the stairs and into the appartment. But something wasn’t right.
The lights were off…
I activated my quirk and readied an orb of energy in my hand strong enough to send any burglar flying. I slowly walked to the lamp switch and turned it on, but instead of a scumbag, what i found was…
Inko & Izuku “SURPRIIISEE!!”
Mom and brother both jumped up from behind the couch with a confetti launcher that Izuku popped. In front of them was a cake sitting neatly on an small end table.
(Y/N) “what is this?”
Izuku “It’s a surprise! For you!”
(Y/N) “Yeah, i know that, but for what?”
Inko “for being the best son ever!”
Both of them squished me into a tight hug while i can only look forward not knowing what to do… or how to breathe in this situation.
Regardless, eventually my eyes aimed down towards the cake. It was a (favourite type of cake) with chocolate writing that says ‘We love you, (Y/N).’
Heh… maybe being in this family ain’t so bad after all…
