Uraraka’s POV
Oh no! I lost it again! ugh…
now where could that little robot be…?
I can’t keep losing him! Deku is struggling out there so I have to find this thing for the both of us! Huh? What was that?
I looked behind me, trying to find the source of the tapping sound I thought I heard. Before uncovering it, another sound came from the right. This time, it sounded like metallic clunking. Realizing that I’ve just regained my lead, I ran towards it.
Running deeper and deeper into the abandoned city hall, before finally cornering the robot in the men’s bathroom, I gotta admit, I heard that the men’s bathroom is always way worse than the women’s, but in a near post-apocalyptic-like scenario like the one in this training ground – it actually looks normal.
Anyway, closing in on the golden ball with legs, I stopped once I’m in front of it, trying to think of a way to actually destroy this thing. Seeing as there is quite a bit of loose concrete around, I figured I could just float a bunch of them and send them flying towards the robot – almost like what I did to Iida. Unfortunately, the idea came a little late. By the time I turned around, my target was crawling on the ceiling and made past me. Once again, the wild goose chase continues…

Oof… phew… this is a work-out. For the however many-th time, I corner this thing once more, and this time I was ready with a big block of concrete in my hands that I’m using as a bat. Alright, the robot is cornered, I’ll cripple it and have Deku finish it off so he gets the point. Here we go!
Huh…?
The concrete block won’t move… it’s… stuck in mid-air…?
I look back up to a worrying sight. A (F/C) coloured aura enveloped it. An aura I recognize as I saw it all around (Y/N) back at the quirk assessment training and when we hung out. An aura that indicated his quirk is active and is manipulating the movement of the object it touches.
(Y/N) “I have to admit, I certainly didn’t expect you to be so cold. Leaving Izuku out in a hellish warzone and taking the point for yourself? How cruel.”
The same tapping noise I heard from before resonates once more. I didn’t let go of the concrete block, but turned around to face a figure slowly coming out of the shadows. A single bead of cold sweat rolled down the side of my face. Fear paralyzed me as my sights fell upon a pair of bright glowing eyes casting a predatory gaze. Like a hunter who’s cornered his prey, moments away from striking the killing blow. What scares me is the fact that I don’t know who the prey is; The golden robot… or me…
(Y/N) “Everyone out there is busy trying to kill each other, and I’ve taken care of Izuku. He won’t be coming to save you.”
‘Taken care’? No… did he knock his brother out? If Izuku is incapacitated, we’re done for! The point can only be taken by those who destroy the robot directly!
(Y/N) “Watching from the shadows has been fun, this little cat and mouse game between you and my point, but I’m afraid it’s time to wrap up.”
Uraraka “Y-you’ve been watching? This whole time?”
(Y/N) “Of course. Izuku was easy to take down. Do you really think he has a chance against someone like me?”
He calmly walked past me and levitated the golden robot into the air.
It flung about wildly, but to no avail. It’s feet were already far off the ground.
Seeing mine and Izuku’s chance slowly slip through my hands, I pulled as hard as I can on the concrete block, but against his telekinesis – there wasn’t much I could do. Before I knew it, I heard loud rumbling and cracking. A shadow loomed over me which quickly grew smaller and more focused, finally looking up, I saw what was coming my way.Â
The ceiling was crumbling above me.

(Y/N)’s POV
All Might “Alright, this concludes your test! Your scores shall now be displayed on this screen!”
I looked at the large screen for a second, to no surprise, my name was at the very top, being leagues ahead of everyone else with the exception of one – right below mine is Shoto Todoroki. He was still a good 11 points away but being able to catch up to my score is rather impressive. Also impressive was Bakugou – once the news reached that I had eliminated the first golden robot, he immediately abandoned the fight and searched for the other two. Izuku and Uraraka’s score weren’t as bad as I thought. Apparently they got lucky and found a cluster of lower-point robots at some point.
With the period ended, we all headed back to class to pack our things, listen to homeroom, and then go home. Along the way, I was talking to Kamita. Our chat was nothing out of the ordinary, mostly talking about games, or funny moments, et cetera.
We entered the class and most of us took our seats with the exception of a few who decided to stand around and talk to their friends while waiting for Mr. Aizawa to arrive. In due time, he did. Everyone sat down and the class became quiet as he gave us some normal school info with the addition of an on-coming class field trip a week from now. After that, we were allowed to go home.
Back in our room, I felt some underlying tension coming from unspoken words. Wanting to clear everything up, I decided to blatantly ask;
(Y/N) “If you have something to say, just say it.”
Izuku “H-huh?”
Izuku stopped his work-out and looked at me.
(Y/N) “You obviously have something you want to say, so say it. You have a tendency of letting things brew up to an inconvenient level,”
He began to stutter and shift around.
Izuku “U-umm…”
(Y/N) “Is this about knocking you out? You expecting an apology?”
Izuku “N-no! I understand why. Y-you had to do it.”
(Y/N) “Then?”
Izuku “It’s umm… about our friends… You u-used Kaminari and Kirishima to distract Kacchan, and took away Uraraka’s points…”
(Y/N) “The goal was to get as many points as possible, so I did what I had to do.”
Izuku “Y-yeah but… Uraraka was really bummed out about it…”
A small pause came between us.
Izuku “U-umm I’m not saying you are wrong, I just think you should be a bit more considerate about our friend’s feelings, you know… m-maybe not use… underhanded tactics…?”
(Y/N) “So many heroes have died and lost because they choose to fight the villain head-on. So many have put their families in danger by putting them in the spotlight. So many have sacrificed themselves to save the weak and insignificant. I will not be written down in history as one of these fools.”
Izuku “(Y-Y/N)..!”
(Y/N) “I will use any method I see fit – If you have a problem with that, go ahead and stop me.”
For a moment, our eyes locked onto each other, our resolves unwavering.
(Y/N) “Being a ‘hero’ is a formality. What’s important is that we keep the people safe. If it means I have to put every villain’s head on a pike, then so be it.”
Izuku “(Y/N)….”
Another pause came between us, a pause which was broken by the sound of my phone buzzing.
I levitated my phone to me and left the room as I inspected the one who messaged me and what it’s about.
It was the old man, and he had a job for me.
