It’s new years eve and Y/N has joined the Komi family to their grandmother’s house as Y/N’s brother, Haru got the flu and Kiyoko and Tanaka are taking care of him.Â
The whole Komi clan minus Shuuko and Masayoshi are sitting in the living room with their youngest cousin Akira.Â
“So, is it true that you’re dating Shousuke??” Akira asked with stars her eyes, eager to hear how her, stoic, quiet and not that bad looking (very hot) older cousin got a girl.Â
“Well, yea it’s true??” Y/N said, but it came out more like a question. She looked a Shousuke but he was just watching TV.
“IT’S ALMOST DINNER TIME!” Shuuko shouted from the dinning room.
“And I have a surprise for you all!!” Shuuko then pulled out a big plate that had a large red crab in the middle. And it looked delicious.
The dinning table had a hot pot in the middle but the crab in the middle stood out like a delicious diamond.
They all sat around the table and eyed the crab like it was a foreign item.
“Big isn’t it? Someone your grandmother knows brought it over.” Shuuko said while we all looked at the crab.
“…” Shoko looked at the it with joy on her face.
“Wow…” Akira muttered while looking at it with a similar expression as Shouko.
“…” Shousuke just looked at it and turned to Y/N to see her reaction.
“Woah, this look delicious Mrs. Komi!” Y/N looked up from the crab to Shuuko while a big smile that made the woman blush from her son’s girlfriend.Â
“Do you like crab Shoko, Y/N?” Akira asked and both Shoko and Y/N nodded.
‘It’s creepy looking and hard to shell and probably doesn’t taste that good… so you can have mine.” Akira swear dropped while looking at the crab.
Both girls looked at Akira and nodded before digging in. Yuiko Komi, the Komi clan’s grandmother handed a piece to both girls.
Y/N tried to open the leg but to no avail.(Author also cannot open cause she gots wear arm). While trying to break the leg in half, a hand suddenly leaned over and grabbed the leg from her. Shousuke swiftly broke the leg in half before handing it back to Y/N.
Y/N looked at Shousuke who just continued to eat his whole of rice. Both Shoko and Y/N started to scrape and poke the leg for meat.
When they both took a bite, their facial expressions were unreadable.

Both girls started to gobble the crab up.
‘She usually has such a poker face, but she’s actually reacting! It’s the crab!’ Akira thought while looking at Shoko eating.
‘Is the crab really that good?’ Akira gulped with sweat dripping down here face. She looked intense.Â
Y/N places the other half of the crab leg to Shousuke and he took a chomp out of it.
‘Shousuke actually has (YOU KNOW THE REST)?!’ Akira sweat dropped at the sight of the two siblings.
Shousuke’s face was flushed while he continued to eat. It was a surprising sight for everyone even Y/N.
Akira got curious and decided to have some. And it was an interesting sight to see the Komi kids rapidly eating the crab bit by bit. In the end, they conquered the crab.
—-New Year’s Eve 2017, 11.50pm—-
It was almost New Years and Shousuke and Y/N were sitting outside the house whlie Akira and Shoko were running around with sparklers. Shuuko and Masayoshi were standing side by side looking at the children with happiness.
Yuiko walked up to Y/N and placed her hand on her shoulders.
“Y/N, could I speak to you privately for a second?” Yuiko looked down at Y/N with a stern face.
A swear dropped from Y/N’s forehead before standing up and following Yuiko to the side.
“So, I’m aware that you’re dating my grandson right?” Yuiko looked Y/N up and down with judging eyes.
“Y-Yes. Yes I am.” Y/N said with slight confidence.
“Well, I hope he is treating you okay..” Yuiko suddenly had a change of tone to a more kinder and sweeter voice. Y/N was shocked to say the least. Her sudden change of tone calmed Y/N’s nerves a little,
“I know he may be a bit cold but trust me, he is a very sweet boy.” Yuiko continued to talk Shousuke up and it really warmed Y/N’s heart.
“Please take care of him for me.” Yuiko gave one final smile before turning away to Shuuko and Masayoshi.
“I will..” Y/N whispered with a smile before walking backing to Shousuke.

Shousuke looked at Y/N while she looked into his eyes…

Shousuke put his arm around her…

Y/N leaned her head against his shoulder…

Shousuke intertwined his had with hers…

Y/N looked up at him with a eye blinding smile….

Shousuke just admired and soaked in her beauty…

Both of them looked into each other’s eyes…

Both slowly leaning in…

Both their nose touching….

And their lips connected and fit perfectly like two puzzle pieces….
Fireworks and cheers were heard in the background but in their mind, it was just the two of them. They both pulled back and at big smiles on their faces.
“Happy New Years Y/N..”Â

2018, new year, new things to come, but happiness always come with a price…
