HUH YUNJIN

“Chaewon! Wait!” I shout, chasing her out the room. She enters an empty room and sits down, crying. I enter the room and close the door behind me. I sit down next to her, placing a hand on her back, rubbing it soothingly.

“Why? What did I do to deserve this?” She says with tears in her eyes. “Oh Chaewon, You didn’t do anything… but tell me what’s happened” I say softly. “I saw Kazuha cheating on me with Sakura” She says softly, tears flowing freely from her eyes.

my eyes fill with understanding. “Oh Chae… I’m so sorry, you didn’t deserve” I say, pulling her into a hug. She buries her face in my chest, crying a little harder. I stroke her hair soothingly. “Thank you Ms. Huh” she mumbles in my chest. “Shh, right now, I’m not Ms. Huh, right now I’m Yunjin” I say, continuing to stroke her hair.

for next few minutes, it’s silent besides Chaewon’s soft crying. then she sniffles and pokes her head up. “Thank you Yunjin” she says, a weak smile forms on her face. I smile at her. “Of course” I say, still holding her in my arms. For a moment, we stare in each other’s eyes. Then I lean in, She leans in as well.

We share a tender and passionate kiss. She doesn’t pull away, she kisses me back, matching my passion. I move my arms to her waist as she wraps her arms around my neck. The taste of her lips taste like candy.

then someone knocks on the door. we both rip away from each other and I go to answer the door. I open it to see Eunchae. “Can I come in?” She says. I nod, letting her in. “Hi Eunchae” Chaewon says softly, looking away. I look away too.

this moment went from passionate to awkward real fast. Eunchae looks at us in confusion. “What’s going on here?” She asks, looking at me. “Nothing Eunchae” I reply quickly. “You don’t do that unless your hiding something, spill it” She says, stepping closer, her eyes narrowed.

“Eunchae, seriously it’s nothing. It was just a kiss” Chaewon says. “Wait… you guys KISSED!?” Eunchae says in shock. I scratch the back on my head in nervousness. “Yeah” I say softly. Eunchae just stands there in shock, then puts her hands together.

“Well, I’m not mad about it” She says. My eyes snap to her. “You’re not?” I ask. “Nope, it’s not my business” She says, in which I smile. “well anyways, it’s getting late and I should take you girls home” I say. “Eunchae, can I stay at your house?” Chaewon asks my little sister. “Yeah, Mom wouldn’t mind” Eunchae says.

“Okay, well I’m staying with Mom for the weekend anyways so I guess we’re all going to the same place” I say, then the girls nod. “Come on, let’s head out” I say, then I leave the room, heading towards the exit. The girls follow behind me. We both leave the party and Eunchae climbs in the back of my car, Chaewon takes the front and I get in the driver’s seat.

I start the engine, and I pull out the driveway and drive home.

We arrive at the house, Eunchae is already asleep in the back. I smile and shake my head. Chaewon is staring out the window. I get out open the backdoor, picking up Eunchae. Chaewon quickly follows behind.

We enter the house and I take Eunchae to her room. I lay her down on her bed and cover her up with her blanket. I plug her phone in and leave it on her bedside table. Then I head to my room, but Chaewon follows me in my room. I turn to her.

“You need something?” I ask softly. “This is gonna be weird but can I sleep with you?” She asks, fiddling with her fingers.

My eyes widen, and a blush forms on my face. “Sure” I say softly. She looks up at me, a little stunned. “Really?” She says. I nod,and she climbs into my bed, laying next to me. she wraps her arms around my waist. “Goodnight Yunjin” She says, then lays her head on my chest.

Not to long later, she’s sound asleep. I smile and stroke her hair, taking in her peaceful expression. I have to admit she is very cute when she’s asleep. I smile to myself. Soon, I fall asleep myself.
