Pete pov
“Peteeee!!! you are back” khun no hugged me as soon as I entered his room. “why didn’t you come back right after your mission? Why did you spend the night there Pete?” he made a pouting face.
Well, what should I say I don’t even have the answer to that “Uhm.. sorry khun no”
“no, you have changed you only care about kinn now” he started to cry so loud!! I rolled my eyes and looked over to arm and pol direction they looked at me with pity. We are used to this. Whenever khun kinn sends me on a mission khun no will make a scene that I don’t care about him but I think this time it will be worse because khun no hates vegas to the core.
Just when I am thinking about a way to cool him he suddenly stopped crying “okay, I will forgive you but..” he pulled out his hand kin and sneezed dramatically “but you have to spend the whole week watching the series with me” he demanded which I agreed to do so.
We would watch the series whole time anyways. This is not a big deal right? “during the weekend too” he added. What? But weekend is my day off. Huff… vegas is right khun no is a grown-up yet childish baby of mine but I love him.
It’s been three days but still khun no didn’t seem to get bored with the same drama. He has been repeating the same drama again and again arm and pol are already gone to sleep while watching.
I sat beside khun no on the bed so I have no chance to take a nap as for Porsche he is with khun kinn. “oyeee what the hell? you guys look like zombies and Ai arm, pol you guys are sleeping?” khun no shouted !!
we all flinched. “khun no, we have been watching the same thing let’s watch another drama please” pol asked, arm and I nodded in agreement.
“ohh why are you so boring let’s watch another drama then” he picked another drama we all sighed in relief at least he agreed to change the drama.
It is a simple love story, we all kept silent while watching but when the male lead kissed the female lead on the forehead my heart jumped it reminded me of vegas and his warm kiss.
Again my mind is filled with vegas, WHY DID HE DO THAT? “Because he loves her” Porsche whispered, I didn’t realize his presence beside me when did he came?
“What did you say” I whispered back.
“A kiss on the forehead is a symbol of affection” he said with his gaze still fixed on drama.
I must have said that out loud but affection? Did vegas… before I can think of anything the realization hit me hard what am I thinking? Vegas is our enemy. Khun kinn will never allow me to go out with vegas and
khun no?
he would burn down the minor family house if he found out that vegas touched me.
Wake up Pete!! This won’t work out I shrugged off all my thoughts and tried to focus on the drama.
Vegas pov
I am now in major family house why? Because of just god damn meeting just seeing his face makes my blood boil.
My eyes rolled to every corner of the room but Pete is nowhere to be found. Where is he? Usually, he will be in every meeting with kinn. Or was he avoiding me again?
“are you even listening to me vegas” kinn snapped me out of my thoughts.
“oh yeah! I was”
“here, hand it to uncle kan” he gave me a file
“well, I’ll take my leave then” I glanced at him and left.
I reached the garden area hoping to see him there but he was not there too. So I decided to retreat that was when I saw Porsche smoking while leaning onto the wall I approached him.
“Porsche”
“huh vegas?” he turned to me and I smiled
“meeting with kinn?” he asked throwing way the cigarette in his hand.
“hmm its already over so I came to say hi to you” he just nodded didn’t say anything.
“well, where’s him?”
“who”
“The bodyguard who accompanied me on the mission. I haven’t seen him anywhere”
“oh Pete? he is with tankhun all day in fact for the past three days” he gave me a weird look before answering.
Am I being too obvious?
I know I should focus on Porsche but Pete got my attention what can I do?
I was quite busy with all the dealings with customers and there were times when my dad scolds me for being a useless son. No matter what I do and how much I tried he will never satisfy. That’s the reason why I hate to be in my house it never felt like a home not after my mom died.
Pete? As soon as I saw his smile my stress seems to be gone but What was he doing in front of that restaurant this early in the morning?
Without any next thought, I followed him inside. To my advantage he was alone so I sat on the seat opposite him.
“khun veg- Uhm vegas” he was quite surprised to see me here
“haven’t met for days baby do you miss me?” I teased him.
“uhh what are you doing here” he dodged my question.
“why? You don’t want to see me?”
Pete pov
I thought khun no was going to take up my leave but he said he is no longer upset and I could hang out. I was craving some curry so I head out to the nearby restaurant, Porsche said it’s weird to eat spicy curry early in the morning but who cares as long as it fills my stomach.
But…
How did I end up in this situation.
“why? You don’t want to see me?” vegas asked with a mischievous look. I know! This bastard is clearly flirting with me before I could say anything the food was placed on the table by the waiter and he placed a cup of coffee in front of vegas.
Just when did he order that?
“Are you going to eat that?” he pointed to the curry with his eyebrows lightly raised .
“I love this” I smiled widely.
“The smell is too strong isn’t that spicy”
“when I say I love it, I mean I love it because it is strong and spicy” I clarified to him.
“I am strong too” I choked on my rice which I scooped just before he said that.
“here drink this” he laughed hard. I bet his favorite thing in his entire life is teasing me. I was annoyed.
“here try this” I don’t know what happened to me I just placed a spoonful of rice with curry in front of his mouth
“I can’t eat spicy food”
“come on just one spoon won’t kill you”
“no…” he moved his head away.
Did he that afraid of spicy food? Maybe I shouldn’t force him. I took back my spoon and continued to eat. After a while “feed me some” he asked, what? Didn’t he say that he won’t want to eat it, what now? huff!!! The so-called vegas and his mood swings
“here” I took some rice and curry on the spoon and fed him he started to munch the food. I waited for his response but I noticed his difficulty and his eyes become watery.
“vegas, are you ok?” I handed him a glass of water he drank all of it. Well, the devil vegas can’t stand spicy food it’s fun to see him like this he looked like a kid.
Vegas pov
he was eating mindlessly like he was enjoying every bite his smile didn’t drop even once he is cute but the fact he is smiling at his food disturbs me.
I have never seen him smile this widely and genuinely before he never smiled to me like this and he is not even looking at me? It’s like I am air. Only if I have a chance, I would burn that curry… but no he seems to enjoy it I will just let it go.
Wait,
don’t think I am jealous I mean why should I? I just don’t like spicy food.
That’s all!!!
I got so curious that I asked him to feed me some but fuck it was damn spicy how could he eat it.
