Evan’s POV
My heart was beating profusely the whole time while I was hiding in the bathroom stall. If they found out I was in there, I would be as good as dead meat. There was just one thing that confused me to no end, the conversation between Dave and Alex.
Alex sounded so cocky and confident, like knew something he wasn’t supposed to while Dave looked so damn pissed. It’s not like I’d be able to find out what was going on anyway. It’s not like I can just go up and ask. I wasn’t even suppose to hear the conversation in the first place.
My interest was certainly sparked though. I couldn’t help but think about it. I really wondered what they were talking about. I’ve never seen Dave like that, but then again, they were always busy beating me up when I did see them.
I was so engrossed in my own thoughts that I didn’t notice I started walking down the hall, until I got body slammed against the lockers. “Watch where you’re going nerd.” Alex scoffed.
I got up slowly. Before I could say anything, the bell rang. The hall monitor walked down the hall and ran the students to class. “Does there seem to be a problem Evan?” He asked me. I looked at Alex and shook my head no.
“Get to class then, both of you.” He ushered. We both quickly walked down the hall for English since we had the same class after lunch.
