If KokuZan is them as demons… would it be MichiZan for them as humans? ðŸ‘

Michikatsu was making breakfast when he realized it was Valentines Day. Which was stupid, because people had been talking about it all around him, yet he’d forgotten until now.Â
In his panic, he abandoned the food he’d been previously making and pulled out his phone, typing furiously. He quickly found the location of a restaurant he’d heard was really good, and close, and then went searching through the cabinets for chocolate. He found a bag of chocolate chips and opened it, getting a pan and dumping it into it, turning on the stove.
He searched through the cupboards for chocolate molds and found one of flower shapes, after a bit, and placed them on the counter.
He checked the time. It was 6am. Good. Muzan wouldn’t wake up for a couple hours, then.
He poured the now-melted chocolate into the molds, tapping them gently onto the counter to set it flat.
Then he carefully put them in the freezer, hoping that it would harden by the time Muzan awoke.
He wrote a quick note explaining that he would be out for a bit, in case Muzan woke up early, and then set out, wrapping a scarf around his neck comfortably.
The thin layer of snow crunched under his feet as he walked quickly down the street, making his way to the stores where he could buy something small for Muzan.
He found flower store which had already opened and stepped in, a bell ringing gently as the door opened.
He looked around, strolling through the aisles of flowers until he found a bouquet of red spider lilies, deciding they looked like Muzan’s eyes. He picked them up and walked to the cashier who smiled.
“Buying something for your girlfriend?” they asked.
“Fiancé,” Michikatsu corrected, “and yes, I’m buying something for him.”
“Oh! I apologize,” the cashier said, laughing nervously.
“It’s alright,” Michikatsu said, handing them the flowers. “I want to buy this.”
“Very well, is that all?” they asked, checking the flowers.Â
“Mhm.” Michikatsu paid then took the flowers, thanking them, before leaving.
He quickly returned home, relieved to see Muzan hadn’t woken up yet. He threw the note he’d left away and placed the flowers on the table, checking the chocolates that were luckily hardening quickly.Â
Then he went back to the abandoned breakfast, warming it back up.Â
And then he waited.
It was nearly two hours before Muzan trudged into the kitchen, his hair messy and eyes bleary with sleep.Â
“‘Morning, Michi,” he mumbled, immediately clinging onto Michikatsu’s arm.Â
“Good morning, love. Did you sleep well?” he asked, laughing as Muzan attempted to blink the tiredness from his eyes.
“Mostly. You?” Muzan asked, trying to steal a kiss from Michikatsu.
“I slept fine.” Michikatsu pulled Muzan away from him, rejecting the kiss. “Go brush your teeth, it’ll wake you up, too, hopefully.”
Muzan whined but left to the bathroom, coming back a couple minutes later.
He grabbed the plate of food Michikatsu had set aside for him and started eating, scrolling through his phone as he did.
“Hmm, are you free today?” Michikatsu asked hopefully.
“Yep. Why? Wait.” Muzan narrowed his eyes, tapping quickly on his phone. “Fuck, today’s Valentine’s Day??? I FORGOT.”
Michikatsu resisted the smile that tried pulling his lips up and nodded. “I almost forgot, as well.”
“Well, fuck.” Muzan sighed, putting his plate down and running his hand through his hair. “Can we go shopping? I want to buy you something.”
“Of course.”
And so they went, hand in hand.
Muzan insisted they went to a mall first, saying there would be a lot more he could scour through—despite Michikatsu’s protests that they’d be in there all day.Â
After several hours of jumping from one store to the other, Muzan had finally bought something he felt were worthy and presented them proudly to Michikatsu.
“So… you’re telling me we went to 25 different stores and a mall just for you to buy… matching bracelets???” Michikatsu asked, exasperated.Â
“Mhm!!” Muzan said, grinning.
“I hate you,” Michikatsu said, pouting.Â
“I love you, toooo,” Muzan teased, grabbing Michikatsu’s arm and forcing the bracelet onto his wrist. “Also I bought these at the first store, in case you were wondering.”
“You…”
Muzan ran away, laughing, taking the street towards there house.
Michikatsu chased after him, shouting as he ran.Â

Back at home, Michikatsu presented the chocolates he’d made (making up some random excuse on why they were flowers and not hearts) and asked if he wanted to eat out for dinner.
Of course, Muzan agreed, popping several chocolates in his mouth at once and nearly choking on them.
(i’m skipping the restaurant thing bc i’m lazy-)
Later, as they left, Michikatsu entwined his hand with Muzan’s, their bracelets clicking gently together as they walked. He bent down, guiding Muzan’s chin up, and kissed him, a smile wavering on his lips.
“I love you,” Michikatsu murmured.
Muzan smiled. “Love you too.”
They walked quietly the rest of the way home, and I’m not finishing this sentence because no matter what I write it’ll sound cringy.
