Eunchae
A sigh left my mouth when looking at my room one last time. The whole furniture and decoration still was perfectly placed and there were even new duvet covers on my babypink colored bed, but the whole wardrobe and bathroom were empty, indicating that nobody would use that room from now on. My suitcases and hand bagage were packed and already in the car, waiting for me to finish saying goodbye to my parents.
“Eunchae are you ready?”, my eldest brothers voice echoed through the hallways of our mansion making me heave another sigh and turn around, stepping foot out of my room.
I hadn’t been in Thailand for a long time so it wasn’t hard to say goodbye to our home here, but it hurt to leave again after thinking everything would get better in a new country. I even thought I would be able to make new friends without struggles or any serious problems but life didn’t seem to go like I wanted it to.
“I’m ready, let’s go.”, I forced out a small smile when coming to a halt in front of my two brothers, my parents standing behind them.
“Will you be okay alone in Korea?”, a worried expression was plastered on my fathers face while my mother tried to fight back tears but failed miserably.
“I’m not going to be alone. I have Hyunjin, Wooyoung and Chaewon, so there’s nothing to worry about!”, I tried my best to seem happy about going back, but the whole school thing still bothered me.
They still engulfed me into a group hug, making me hope everything would have just stayed like it was before. Being homeschooled wasn’t entirely the best experience but way better than what I had gone htrough in Thailand.
“Take care!”, my mother yelled as we left the mansion and took a seat in the car, waving our parents off.
The car ride wasn’t long and we soon arrived at the airport, meeting with my best friend. A small crowd had already formed around us as fans and reporters started to make rumours up about the relationship of my bothers and Chaewon and me, but I couldn’t care less. The only thing I wanted to was just finally arriving back in Korea and snuggle myself into a blanket, hoping life would get better there again.
We made our way to the gate after checking in, trying our best to avoid all the questions and annyoing reporters in the hopes of them leaving us alone.
My mind went blank when four familiar faces caught my eyes, small smiles gracing their lips. I gulped when their hands started to rise up in the air, waving us off. My heart got heavy as I thought about our friendship, but diverted my gaze again.
There was no going back anymore.
