Eunchae
“Hey! My poor shirt!”, somebody yelled at me, taking me by surprise and making me look up.
Two of the four boys who were the centre of attention in the stadium, stood now in front of me and Chaewon. One of them having a big stain on his tiger like t-shirt, instantly making me feel bad and letting me forget about my favorite drink.
“Oh no, I’m so sorry!”, I instantly grabbed a tissue out of my black Lady Dior, which matched with the bow of my Mary Janes, trying my best to soak up the juice. Flinching back when he slapped my hand away, Chaewon instantly took a step forward and dragged me back.
“What do you think you’re doing?”, he looked mad. Really mad.
I looked down, disappointed in myself that I was so careless and didn’t look around. I should’ve noticed him and be more careful.
“She already apologized. Let it be”, Chaewon glared at him surprising both of the boys in front of us.
“What?”, the other one said widening his eyes, checking if he heard her right.
“I’m sorry it won’t happen again, I promise!”, I tried my best to send out a smile even though I was a bit scared of them.
“I’m letting you go because you’re obviously new but make sure it won’t happen again!”, he glared at me and turned around, the other boy shortly mustering us before following his friend.
I sighed looking at Chaewon, who was busy death glaring the boy with the tiger shirt.
“Rude”, she muttered under her breath.
I pouted looking down on the floor, where my whole peach juice was spilled.
“Don’t worry, I’ll buy you a new one”, Chaewon softly smiled at me seeing my dull face, trying to lighten up my mood.
I instantly smiled thinking about my favorite packet drink and happily linked my arm with hers and headed towards our class, already forgetting about the incident.

The next classes went by pretty quickly, nothing really special. Nobody seemed to recognize Chaewon so far or they just were too shy to talk to her, which I was really glad for. It was really annoying sometimes, people following you and asking for a picture every five minutes, but Chaewon loved her fans and also showed that. I really looked up to her because of that. Managing to be so lovely with your fans and even being nice to the rude ones really was an amazing ability.
“Do you wanna go and grab a new packet drink now? I’m free!”, she smiled at me as we finally entered the school.
“Yes, you can come with me!”, I cheered already looking forward to getting my drink.
Chaewon chuckled and quickly made a phone call, probably telling her driver that there was no need to pick her up anymore. I already went ahead and happily skipped my way to the car, where my driver waited for me.
Opening the door for myself, I was about to get in when I saw the four boys of the stadium looking at me, one of them having an angry gaze. I quickly smiled regardless and took a seat in the right backseat of the car, waiting for Chaewon who didn’t take a long time before taking a seat next to me. We buckled our seats before my driver started to head towards some convenience store Chaewon told him to drive to.
The ride wasn’t long and we arrived at a cute and small convenience store, my driver dropping us off leaving me and Chaewon alone. We walked in and grabbed two peach packet drinks and a pack of gummy bears before heading to a small bench where we sat down and enjoyed our snacks. Talking about our weekend and how we both looked forward to finally go to the same school again, we lost track of time and my phone was full of messages from my brothers and parents, asking where I was.
I quickly wrote a short message in the family group chat, saying that I was still out with Chaewon and that we were about to head home.
“You wanna sleep at mine?”, I looked up to her hoping that she would say yes, so we could spend some more time together.
“I waited for you to ask that”, she chuckled and quickly made a phone call again, so her parents would know that she was safe and fine.
Waiting for my driver to arrive again, we spotted a small flower shop on the opposite side of the street. Deciding to take the rest of the time to buy some for my room, we quickly crossed the street before opening the door and stepping in. The smell of flowers rose through my nose as a bell shortly rang, indicating that we entered the store.
“Hey, can I help you?”, a pretty girl with brown, long hair smiled at us, shushing another girl who sat on a chair and whined about something.
“I would like to buy a small bouquet of babypink roses and tulips please!”, I gave her a bright smile back as she nodded and started to prepare my order for me.
Chaewon looked around the store, mustering the different types of flowers and other plants. Shortly glancing at the short haired girl, who still sat on the chair and continued to whine about something, I decided to approach her.
“Hi! I’m Eunchae!”, I stood in front of her, the smile still plastered on my lips.
“I’m Gorya!”, she looked up, a little confused why I was so happy but still tried to send the same energy back.
“Do you need help?”, she asked me, probably working here too.
“No thank you. I just saw you whining here so I wanted to cheer you up!”, I took a seat on the chair next to her while she glanced at my medium sized Lady Dior, which was gripped by both of my hands.
“No need, thank you though”, her smile started to fade a little, glancing at all of my clothes. Did I have something on it? Was it stained? I shortly looked at my white long arm shirt, which was layered with a black Chanel mini dress with straps to find everything all right, looking back up again the other girl came back with my bouquet already. I quickly paid before taking one last glance at the short haired girl and left along with Chaewon.
