As the day passed by, the girls met up at the baseball park after school.
Everyone was already there, including the coaches, and they picked up where they left off from yesterday.
They broke off into their groups and continued learning. Haseul made sure to check on Jungeun to see if she’s feeling better.
Hyunjin’s dad told her that if she didn’t feel good that she can sit out or go home. He doesn’t want to force her to play if she’s sick.
But being stubborn, Jungeun said she was already feeling better and that she can play. She reassured everyone so they didn’t have to worry about her.
Hyunjin walked up to where her dad was setting up their area. She grabbed her catchers gear to put it on and then crouched down into the position.
Her dad threw some pitches for her to catch. Son was still teaching Jiwoo and Heejin how to pitch well enough so she couldn’t practice with them yet.
The others were doing well in their positions and soon it was time for them to start hitting.
“Alright now you girls are going to learn how to hit. Since you all learned quickly and well, we are moving on”
The girls nodded and made their way to where Jung was set up. Chaewon was already there and she just stood to the side. Heejin and Jiwoo were still with Son since they didn’t need to hit.
Jung looked at the girls and proceeded to tell the same thing he told Chaewon. They listened well and made sure to understand every detail.
He helped them get into a good batting stance and made them hit the tee ball.
Yeojin had a little trouble in trying to get her stance good since she’s short. Her unnies helped her and she managed to get it right.
As they were practicing, Mr. Kim pulled his daughter away from the group to talk to her.
“Hey sweetie, have you talked to the principal about this game?”
“Yea, she said we can play but there can’t be any fights. I asked her if you and the coaches can join us at school and she said yes”
Hunjoon had suggested for Hyunjin to talk her principal to see if him and the guys can be with the girls at the game. They can help the girls during the game in case they make a mistake.
He nodded “okay that’s great then. Just tell us what time we have to be there” she nodded.
They went back and it was Hyunjin’s turn to hit.
They were just hitting off the tee for now but Jung decided to throw them pitches.
“Hey Hyunjin its your turn come on” Sooyoung waved her over.
Hyunjin walked to her and grabbed her bat. She quickly got set up and waited for Jung to throw the ball.
He pitched and she swung the bat hard enough for the ball to leave the field. Everyone’s heads turned and watched the ball soar in the air.
“What the fuck?!”
“Damn home girl you can hit!”
Both Sooyoung and Jinsoul commented out loud. Hyunjin laughed and turned to look at Jung.
He smiles “um…you know you didn’t have to hit it that hard right?” chuckles were heard and she just shrugs.
They continued with hitting for the rest of practice. Jiwoo and Heejin on the other hand, were learning really well and they managed to throw some pitches correctly.
Sometimes they would both get distracted by two specific girls. But they still listened to Son even with red cheeks.
Son was happy and surprised at how well these two girls learned so quickly.
“Wow you girls are very good learners and pitch very well for starters”
Jiwoo jumped up and down at his statement. She was thankful and ecstatic for the praise.
Heejin blushed a little because she thought she was going to suck at it. But hearing someone experienced tell her that, makes her feel confident.
Unknown to them, two girls were looking their way. One was proud of Heejin while the other was melting at Jiwoo’s cuteness.
They looked at each other and laughed.
“Damn we got it bad”
“Tell me about it” Hyunjin chuckles as Sooyoung shakes her head. They were both whipped without actually even dating them.
Later on, practice finished and Hunjoon gathered everyone up to talk.
“So Hyunjin told me that we are allowed to be with you girls during the game” they mentally cheered “But there can’t be any fights alright?”
Nods were seen and he then talked about how quickly they’ve been learning. He’s proud of them and he will make sure they win this game.
“Alright I’ll see you girls tomorrow”
Everyone bid each other goodbye and went their separate ways. The seniors gave some of the girls a ride back home while some went with Hyunjin and her dad.

Unknown to them, there was person watching their every move since they got there. The person gritted their teeth and scowled at the group.
They left right after the girls with one thought in mind: ‘I can’t let Hyunjin beat me again. I guess I’ll just have to take them out one by one‘Â they smirked and continued walking away.
