Monday came making everyone groan at how quick the weekend passed by. The girls were at school waiting for the bell to ring.
It was a calm morning without any of them fighting each other. Due to Chaewon being injured, they made sure to not fight for the day.
Haseul was feeling better and her bruise didn’t swell up. Her nose doesn’t bleed anymore and she has a small scratch on it.
When Jinsoul went to pick up Chaewon, her and Hyejoo helped get in and out of the car. She’s wearing a wrap on her thigh and has to limp a little but she’s okay.
The bell rang making them groan and have to go to class. They went their separate ways as the day begins. Hyejoo and Hyunjin helped Chaewon get to her class.
Both of them told her that they would help walk her to all her classes. She told them that they didn’t have to but they were stubborn.

The seniors were currently in math class having free time. It was their last class before lunch so the teacher gave them time to do whatever.
They sat in the back with Haseul and Vivi turned around in their chairs to face the other two.
“So what’s up with you and Jiwoo?” Haseul asked Sooyoung. Vivi gives her a teasing smile and Jinsoul snickers.
Rolling her eyes, Sooyoung shoves Jinsoul “What do you mean? She’s cute and really nice and pretty” She says and starts to blush. Haseul laughs and points at her.
Vivi laughs at how lovestruck their friend looks as she starts talking about the redhead.
“Damn bro you’re really whipped for her huh? And here I thought she would be the one whipped for you but it seems to me that she barely acknowledges you”
Jinsoul smirks at her and laughs. Sooyoung slowly turns to her and smiles a little.
“Oh you don’t think we see you staring at Jungeun with heart eyes. We can literally see the sparkle in your eyes when you look at her” She smirks as Jinsoul blushes and shoves her.
Haseul laughs along with Vivi and they start teasing her. The blue haired was about to say something to Haseul but closed her mouth realizing Vivi was there.
She rolls her eyes “Okay so what if I like her more than a friend. I doubt she even likes me and I don’t even know she’s gay” She sadly tells them.
Vivi watches as her friend looks down “Really? Have you seen the way she looks at you?” She tells her and Haseul nods at her.
“Yea Soul she looks at you the same way you do at her. And you literally skipped school to go take care of her when she was sick” She points out which gets Jinsoul to look at her and think.
She was right but she just doesn’t know if Jungeun likes girls or is at least bisexual. Sooyoung sees how her friend thinks hard at what Haseul said.
Laying a hand on her shoulder, she smiles at her “You should probably ask her about her sexuality to make sure. I asked Jiwoo but I didn’t really ask her out or anything. And there’s a 99% chance she likes you, trust me”
Jinsoul stares at her as she’s smiling. She then looks over to Haseul and Vivi to see them smile and nod.
“Alright I’ll ask her about her sexuality but if she says she’s gay then you have to ask Jiwoo out” She tells them and points at Sooyoung.
Her eyes pop out “What? Shouldn’t you ask Jungeun after knowing she’s gay? Why do I have to ask out Jiwoo?” She questions her friend.
Jinsoul laughs “I can’t just immediately ask her out when she tells me that she’s gay. Its sus” Sooyoung rolls her eyes.
“Fine I’ll asked Jiwoo out but then you’ll have to ask out Jungeun I’d Jiwoo says yes” She tells her friend who nods.
Haseul and Vivi just shake their heads as the bell rings to dismiss them. They pack their things and get up to leave.

Lunch was normal as they just ate and chatted. Vivi was talking about something and everyone was paying attention to what she said.
It was calm but then the devil himself shows up and ruins everything.
“So Hyunjin, are you ready to get your ass beat this Wednesday? Does your team even know how to play at all?” Jinhyuk tells her as he begins to laugh with his crew.
The entire cafeteria had stopped what they were doing and watched them.
They glare at him and his friends for ruining their lunch. Hyunjin smiles a little before looking at him.
She stands up “The real question is are you ready for me to make you my bitch again?” She smirks at him as he frowns.
A bunch of ‘ooohs’ were heard and a few snickers as well from everyone.
“Aye get his ass unnie!”
“Tell his crusty ass who’s the real bitch here Hyun!”
The girls were yelling at her to continue telling him off. He clenches his jaw and scoffs at her.
“You really think you’re all that since making some new friends. And do you really think you’re going to beat me and my team who have experience in baseball? I don’t think any of you are ready to know what it feels like to lose to me” He tells her and smirks but she doesn’t back away.
Hyunjin scoffs at him and takes a step closer “I don’t think that I’m all that, I know I am all that. And we don’t think that we’re going to beat you…we know we are” She starts smirking after seeing him frown and look at the table.
The girls were also smirking at him. They were ready to pounce on him and his crew if he touches Hyunjin.
Hyunjin and Jinhyuk were having a stare off.
“Alright, I guess we can settle this score on Wednesday at the field. Everyone will be there to watch you and them get beat by me and my team. So prepare to be humiliated in front of the whole school” He gives her a smirk as his crew chuckles.
Her friends glare at Jinhyuk and wait for Hyunjin to say something.
“Game on, we’ll be there but remember how I already humiliated you once and I’m pretty sure its gonna happen again. Trust me, you’re not going to like it”
She smirks at him and then turns around to sit back down. Everyone starts clapping and cheering as she says that.
Jinhyuk just watches her sit down like nothing happened. He clenches his jaw and walks away with his crew.
The girls laugh at him and just continue what they were doing before he came over.

School was almost over and everyone couldn’t wait to leave. Hyunjin and Chaewon currently had class together as they were talking for a bit.
Hyunjin faces her friend “So what do you think about Hyejoo, Wonie?” She questions her.
Chaewon stares at her confused wondering why she wants to know. She narrows her eyes at the taller.
“Why do you want to know?” Hyunjin shrugs which makes the green haired more confused.
She sighs “I just want to know because I can see that you like her. Don’t deny it dude I’ve seen the way you are with her” Chaewon blushes and looks away.
She smiles “Well I think she’s really nice and funny. She’s really pretty and she’s even helping me when I told her that she didn’t have to. But I don’t think she would like someone like me” She looks down and frowns.
Hyunjin watches her and cups her cheek for Chaewon to look up at her “What is there not to like about you? You’re pretty, funny, nice and you put others before yourself. I’ve always loved that about you ever since we first met. So trust me when I say that there’s a possibility that she likes you”
Chaewon smiles at her and waits for her to continue.
“And if she didn’t like you, she wouldn’t even be helping you after you told her she didn’t need to” She gives her friend a hug so she knows how serious she is.
They release the hug and Chaewon nods “I’ll see how she is around me and maybe ask her out” Her friend firmly nods at her.
But the younger says something that gives Hyunjin a mini heart attack.
“But that means you’ll have to ask out Heejin too if I ask Hyejoo out” She smirks at her.
Hyunjin stares at her with wide eyes and thinks about it.
“Fine I’ll ask her out but if she says no then I’m blaming you” She points at her friend and smiles.
Chaewon nods and they continue talking till the bell rings, dismissing them. Hyejoo is at the door by the time Hyunjin helps her walk out.
They walk side by side to help make sure Chaewon doesn’t put any weight on her right leg.

They were going to work on their offense more then defense. So they started off practice with hitting and then they scrimmaged again.
A scrimmage is a great way to practice because it helps them prepare for the actual game.
The scrimmage started off well as Jiwoo was making sure she didn’t give up a base hit. In the bottom third inning, Vivi was up to bat as Yeojin took her place.
She waits for her pitch as Jiwoo nods at their catcher. She winds up and throws a fastball just off the plate. Vivi let’s it pass seeing it was a ball.
She tightens her gloves and does a practice swing. Hyunjin signs a curve ball to Jiwoo as Vivi steps up.
The curve ball is thrown heading towards the middle. Hyunjin gets ready to glove it but Vivi gives a big swing.
By the crack of the bat, you already know she hit a bomb. They watch the ball fly over the fence in right field and land in the ditch.
Vivi smiles as she runs around the bases. Jung gives her a fist bump as she heads for home. Yerim didn’t even move when Vivi hit the ball.
As Vivi touches home plate, the girls come to congratulate her on hitting her first home run.
“Good job Vivi unnie!”
“Damn that ball was a goner dude!”
The coaches smile seeing Vivi smiling brightly at everyone. They set back up and continue playing.
Heejin comes in to pitch during the sixth inning. It was Haseul’s turn to bat as she fixed her gloves.
Hyunjin signed Heejin a fastball up and she nods. Haseul got into her stance and looks at her.
The first pitch she throws causes Haseul to swing and miss. She swung on time but the ball was too fast. She steps out and tightened her gloves.
The infield is shifted more to the right as the outfield stays the same.
Heejin pitches the class president a splitter but she sees it go too high and doesn’t swing at it.
“Its alright Heekie!” Hyunjin yells at her seeing how she shakes her head.
This time, Hyunjin signs her a cutter and as she throws the pitch, it makes Haseul swing and make contact with it.
She drops her bat and starts running to first while watching the ball. The girls watch the ball travel towards the outfield.
Hyejoo and Sooyoung are chasing after it and are trying to call off each other but they don’t listen.
Haseul stopped at first to watch as Hyejoo and Sooyoung collide with each other.
They kept their eyes on the ball which made them not see where they were going. Sooyoung knocks into Hyejoo’s body as the younger catches the ball.
“Oof!” Hyejoo falls on top of the senior’s body after she gloves the ball.
The ball miraculously stays in her glove as they fall onto the ground. The other girls wince at the sight of them colliding and run to them.
“Are you guys okay?!” Yerim was the first one to get to them and crouched down.
Sooyoung groans in pain as the other had landed on top of where Jinhyuk had kicked her in the chest.
Hyejoo hisses in pain and tries to get off of her. Yerim helps her roll off and onto her back. The black haired rubs her stomach on the spot where she was kicked at by Jinhyuk.
The girls and coaches stop running once they’re next to them. Lee and Hunjoon crouch down next to them.
“Are you girls alright? Where does it hurt?” Lee asked them and they pointed to where it hurts.
He nods and helps Sooyoung sit up but keeps Hyejoo down. The girls noticed how they pointed to the same spot where they were hurt by Jinhyuk.
Jiwoo worriedly looks at Sooyoung and crouches next to her. She holds her hand as a sign of comfort.
Lee then helps Hyejoo sit up once she tells him she’s okay. Chaewon was standing up and watching them from the dugout.
She frowns at how she can be there to comfort the younger and see if she’s alright.
“You’re going to have to ice that when you get home but for now do you girls wanna stay in?” Hunjoon asks them and they immediately nod.
“I’m fine, it just still hurts from when I got kicked a few days ago” Sooyoung answers and she’s helped up by Jiwoo to stand.
The coaches nod and Yerim helps Hyejoo stand up as Yeojin checks on her best friend.
Lee looks at Hyejoo “Are you fine to continue? You don’t have to if you’re in pain” He tells her but she shakes her head.
She breathes in “I’m fine to continue, it was just a hard fall but I’ll be okay” She gets down to grab her glove with the ball still in it.
Sooyoung does the same and smiles at Jiwoo. The redhead smiles back with a blush tinted on her cheeks.
Hunjoon nods “Alright we’ll continue but be careful. Oh and nice catch Hyejoo” He smiles at her and she lightly smiles back.
He calls for them to head back to their spots to continue playing. Hyejoo looks around and makes eye contact with Chaewon.
The older lightly frowns and Hyejoo smiles at as if saying that she’s okay. Chaewon nods and gives her wide smile before going back to sit down.
She goes back to her position with a smile and a small blush on her face.
They continue playing till the sun starts to set and no other injuries happened, to the coaches relief.
After Hunjoon talked to them and checked up on the two outfielders, he dismissed them.
They all went home to rest up knowing how close the game is. Chaewon was already able to walk by herself with a small limp so Jinsoul and Hyejoo didn’t help her.
Both Sooyoung and Hyejoo ice the spot that had hurt when they collided. They were just grateful that the collision wasn’t really bad.
The day came to an end as tomorrow would be the girls last day of practice. The game would be on Wednesday and it would be after school so they couldn’t practice.
The coaches knew they were ready and the girls themselves knew they had a chance to beat Jinhyuk and they know they will.
