Sooyoung was currently at bat to start off the game. She watches the pitcher throw the first pitch and she gives a swing at it.
The ball is fouled off towards the right of the stands. People tried to catch it as they stood up over each other.
She backs up to fix her helmet. Stepping back in, she focuses on the pitcher and gets ready.
The next pitch thrown manages to make her swing and miss. Sooyoung winces at how she swung too late. She fixes her elbow guard before getting into her stance again.
She watches the third pitch get closer to the zone and sees how the ball is going towards the outside. So she doesn’t swing thinking its a ball.
“Strike three! You’re out!” The umpire yells out as the catcher gloves the ball.
“What? That was a ball!” Sooyoung tries to argue but the umpire just nods his head. She sighs and walks back into the dugout chewing her gum.
She takes off her helmet and sits down to take off her shin guard.
Chaewon comes up to bat next. She gives a small swing before stepping into the box. Getting into her stance, she looks at the pitcher nods at the catcher.
A pitch is thrown as the sophomore watches it head towards the middle. Swinging at it, the ball lands into the catcher’s glove. She sighs and steps back to look around.
Jung and Choi were standing on the sides of first and third base to help the girls whenever they get on base.
The pitcher waits for her to step back in before giving a nod to his catcher and sending another pitch to her. Chaewon makes contact with the ball and quickly runs to first.
She watches the first baseman glove the ball thrown to him by the second baseman. She steps on the base before jogging back to the dugout. She smiles at Hyejoo who was watching her.
Yerim walks up to plate fixing her gloves. She then gets into her stance and waits for her pitch.
A ball is thrown off the plate which she takes for a ball. Stepping back in, the pitcher throws a curve ball that Yerim makes contact with.
Her swing causes for the ball to fly towards the outfield. She runs to first watching the ball land into an outfielders’ glove. Yerim stops running as she takes off her helmet and walks to the dugout.
That was the third out so they had to change sides. The cheers of everyone in the stands were loud as the guys walked into their dugout. The girls put on their fielding gear and run onto the field.

Jiwoo walks up to the mound feeling a little nervous. She’s not used to a lot of people watching her.
Turning around, she catches Sooyoung make eye contact with her. The senior gives her a comforting smile as Jiwoo sends one back.
Hyunjin crouched down ready to catch Jiwoo’s pitches. A guy walks up into the box as the sophomore signs Jiwoo a fastball.
She nods and grips the ball right before releasing the pitch. The guy swings and misses and the ball lands into Hyunjin’s glove.
Jiwoo catches the ball thrown at her from Hyunjin. She then waits for her sign.
Hyunjin signs her a slider as she jumps into her position. Jiwoo pitches the slider and watches as the sophomore gloves the ball. The guy has swung and miss again.
The other girls were smiling a little as Jiwoo may be able to get a strike out. They get into position seeing as Jiwoo was about to give her pitch. Everyone erupts into cheers as the guy swings and misses again.
Hyunjin stands up tosses Jiwoo the ball with a smile. The junior struck him out and the girls were smiling.
“Nice one Woo!
“Aye you got him Ji!”
Jiwoo was smiling at how the people were cheering for her. She just struck someone out that wasn’t her friends.
The coaches were smiling at her as well. The inning continued on with Jiwoo striking out the other two guys.
The girls were ecstatic and happy for the junior. They patted her back once in the dugout.
“Way to go Wooming! Good job!” Jungeun told her best friend and gave her a small hug.
“Thanks Jungie” She smiles at her and then is hi fived by the coaches. Hyunjin was going to bat to start off the second inning.

The game progressed normally without the score changing. Although, Jinsoul has been hit by a pitch the two times she’s been at bat.
First, she was hit in the shoulder then in the back. The girls and coaches were mad but they couldn’t do anything unless Jinsoul gets injured.
They knew that it was intentional because Jinhyuk was seen smirking every time she would walk to first.
And he would give the signal to his pitcher to hit Jinsoul whenever she walks up to bat.
Both teams haven’t been able to do anything offensively but defensively, both teams are really good at getting outs. Haseul made a fantastic out by jumping up and gloving the ball quick.
Jungeun made a diving stop to pass the ball to Jiwoo and get an out. She stopped the ball from going into the outfield for a base hit.
So nothing happened that would cause an uproar from the people in the stands.
It wasn’t until the bottom of the 5th inning when Jinhyuk’s team gets a chance to break the scoreless tie.

Jiwoo was pitching really well with Hyunjin signing her good pitches. And the girls were doing well in making sure the ball doesn’t go into the outfield on a ground ball.
Right now, in the bottom of the 5th inning, there were two outs already and Jiwoo was ready to strike Jinhyuk out. He is at the plate right now with a smirk on his face.
“So I see you girls are good but let’s see if you can catch this ball” Jinhyuk tells Hyunjin as he gets into the box. She just scoffs and ignores him.
She signs Jiwoo a fastball up to make home swing and miss. The junior gives her pitch and Jinhyuk fouls it off to the left. The umpire hands Hyunjin a ball to toss to Jiwoo.
Once he gets ready again, the sophomore signs the redhead a curve ball down.
The girls get into position as soon as Jiwoo throws her pitch and its too low. He doesn’t swing at it which makes it a ball.
Jiwoo frowns a little but quickly composes herself when she catches the ball thrown to her.
Again, she’s signed a curve ball but higher. Releasing her pitch, the ball goes more towards the left and Jinhyuk gives a big swing.
The ball is sent into the air as it travels to left field. Everyone stands up to watch where the ball goes as Jinhyuk starts running to first. Sooyoung chases after the ball with Hyejoo right behind her.
Hyunjin stands up and takes off her mask to look at Sooyoung run after the ball. Jiwoo holds her breath when she sees that the senior stop running.
The girls frown and sigh when they see the ball go over into the stands for a home run.
The crowd erupts into cheers as the ball goes into the stands. Sooyoung sighs and looks at Hyejoo who also has a frown. Hyunjin looks down as Jinhyuk rounds the bases.
He gives a long stare to Jinsoul when he rounds third before smirking at her. Once he touches home plate, he still has the smirk on his face and looks at Hyunjin with a ‘I told you so’ expression.
She looks at him walk off to celebrate with his teammates before she gets into position again.
It was 0-1 now.
Jiwoo was mad at herself for giving up a home run to their enemy. But she can’t do anything about it now so she just focuses on getting the next guy out.
The guy manages to strike out as the inning is now over but the damage has been done.
The girls enter the dugout with frowns but the coaches try to cheer them up. Sooyoung walks up to Jiwoo to cheer her up and it works seeing as the younger blushes.

That home run didn’t stop the girls from achieving the win. Its the top of the 6th inning with one out since Haseul got a lineout.
Up next is Sooyoung as she steps into the box. She manages to foul off the first two pitches thrown at her.
The next pitch that is thrown at her is a ball up high. She fixes her gloves and helmet before getting back into the box.
The pitcher winds up and releases a pitch that makes Sooyoung smirk. She swings as soon as the ball hits the zone and sends the ball into orbit(Pun intended) and flips her bat.
Everyone stands up as the ball quickly lands into stands for a home run.
There were cheers everywhere as Sooyoung runs around the bases with a smile and gives a smirk to Jinhyuk as she passes him. He clenches his jaw and looks at his pitcher.
She gave a fist bump to Jung as she steps on third base. The girls were going crazy as Sooyoung touched home plate. They were ecstatic and yelling at her for a good at bat.
“Hell yea! We’re on the board!”
“That ball was a goner!”
They hi fived Sooyoung as she entered the dugout and the coaches also congratulate her. They knew the girls can come from behind to tie it.
She was smiling and laughing with the girls after hitting the home run. Jiwoo thanked her for tying the game even though she didn’t need to thank her.
The game was tied at 1-1.
Chaewon walks up to the plate after congratulating Sooyoung. She focuses on the pitcher giving his pitch way off the plate.
She takes a ball and quickly fixes her gloves. The next three pitches thrown at her are taken as balls so she works a walk.
She jogs to first after taking off her elbow and shin guard and tossing her bat. Hyungwon decided to become the ball and bat boy for them to help Hyunjin.
Choi talks to her with his hand around his mouth and gives her pointers. He tells her to try to run all the way to third if Yerim hits the ball.
Yerim steps into the box after she puts on her helmet. Chaewon was on first as Yerim is pitched two balls. The freshman tightens her gloves and gets into her stance.
She gives a big swing to the slider thrown at her and sends it into the outfield. Chaewon takes that as a signal to run and she takes off.
She keeps running as Jung signals her to keep going seeing that the outfielders are barely getting the ball in.
Yerim runs and slides into second for a double. She watches Chaewon slide into home plate as the catcher applies the tag late and cheers.
Cheers were heard as Chaewon gets up to thank Yerim and hi five Hyunjin coming up to the plate.
She goes into the dugout celebrating the new point she made as the girls were ecstatic again. She was out of breath since that was the fastest she’s ever ran.
The score was now 2-1.
Yerim calls for time to take off both of her guards and gloves before giving it to Jung. She stands at second with Hyunjin at bat.
The sophomore was already frustrated that she hasn’t been able to hit anything. Yerim watches the sophomore get struck out and curse at herself.
Her same aged friend comes up to bat and she hopes she can send her home. Hyejoo swung and missed on her fist pitch and fouled off her second pitch.
The next pitch thrown at her is a fastball and she sends the ball into the right side. Yerim sees the ball go into the outfield and starts running as fast as she can.
Jung yells at her to keep going sending her home, so she picks up her pace and touches home plate.
Hyejoo stops at first with a single while watching Yerim get safe at home. She smiles at her and hi fives Choi while their dugout cheers along with the crowd.
The dugout was going crazy as the girls put on a show. The coaches were also ecstatic as they watch the girls doing what they do best.
Hyejoo hands both of her guards to Choi before taking off her gloves and putting them into her back pocket. She pulls out a sliding mitt to help her slide into bases when she runs.
The score was 3-1 now.
Jinsoul steps up to the plate for the third time. She hopes she can at least hit a ball because she’s only been hit by a pitch since her first at bat.
Jinsoul notices the first two pitches thrown at her were close to her body. And the next pitch hits her on the ribs which makes her drop the bat and hiss in pain.
“Oooh!” The crowd yells seeing the senior get hit again. She winces a little as the ball hit the spot where Jinhyuk had hurt her. Jungeun can be seen looking at her with concerned eyes.
Their dugout was yelling at the umpire to throw out the pitcher as Hunjoon comes out to argue with the home plate umpire.
“Thats the third time he hit my player! Its been intentional since her first at bat! He needs to be ejected already!” He argues but the umpire just stands there staring at him.
So Jinhyuk’s coach comes out to argue and say that he didn’t know his pitcher was doing that.
“I apologize for him hitting your player. Ump, just eject him already, we have another pitcher warming up” Seungmin tells the umpire and he nods before ejecting the said pitcher.
The other team were mad as he walked off into their dugout and there were some boos from the crowd.
Jinsoul quickly took off both of her guards and gloves, giving them to Hyungwon. She takes of her gloves as she jogs to first and puts them in her back pocket.
Hyejoo heads to second as Jinsoul pulls out a sliding mitt to wear on her hand like Hyejoo. After the next pitcher comes in, Vivi is up to bat.
Hyejoo is at second while Jinsoul is at first and there are two outs. It seems like the new pitcher sees how Vivi will swing and miss at a splitter.
So he pitches her a splitter three times in a row to strike her out and to end the inning. She heads off into the dugout while shaking her head.
Jinsoul follows her as well as Hyejoo to get their fielding gear on. Jiwoo gets ready to come back out before Heejin gets put into the game.
Jiwoo manages to get three easy outs in the bottom sixth inning. That was the last time she pitches since Heejin will be coming in for the bottom seventh inning.
Overall, Jiwoo had eight strike outs since the start of the game and everyone was proud of her.

In the top of the 7th inning, Jungeun comes up to bat. She hopes to hit a ball this time to impress Jinsoul. Jinsoul has already swooned over the junior so she didn’t need to.
She wants to show her that she can play well. So while at bat, she fouls off the first pitch thrown at her.
Jinsoul was watching her and thinking how hot she looks with a small blush on her cheeks.
She choked on the seeds she was chewing on as she tried not to think inappropriate things. Jungeun’s bat makes contact with the ball as she quickly runs to first.
The ball was hit as the left fielder picks it up to throw it to second. She stops at first and hi fives Choi for hitting a single.
There cheers from the dugout and the crowd as she took off her elbow and shin guard giving it to Choi. She kept her gloves on so she can slide into the bases.
Haseul comes up to bat as she puts on her helmet. The senior watches as Jungeun prepares herself to run if she were to hit a ball.
And on the first pitch, Haseul hits the ball into center field. She drops her bat and runs to first as Jungeun advances to second. She couldn’t go farther since the ball was thrown to Jinhyuk, who was the shortstop.
“Aye, thats our class president!”
“Good swing Seulie!”
Her friends cheered along with the crowd and she smiles. Choi gives her pat on the back before grabbing the guards handed to him.
He talks to her as she takes off her gloves and stuffs them into her back pocket. Sooyoung was up next to bat with no outs in the inning.
Jungeun was at second and Haseul was at first as Sooyoung struck out for the second time. They stayed on base as Chaewon walks up this time.
They hoping to run and score more but the pitcher also manages to strike out the sophomore. With two outs, Yerim comes out to bat for the fourth time.
Yerim knows she needs to bring Jungeun home so she does the job just right. The freshman hits the fastball thrown at her before she starts to run.
Jungeun takes off as fast as she can and sees Jung telling her to run to home. Haseul runs to third and stops seeing the ball being thrown to home.
Jungeun slides feet first into home plate as the catcher just barely applies the tag.
“Safe!” Yells the umpire and the crowd stands up to cheer. Yerim had stopped at first with a single and saw Jungeun score.
She smiles at her and the other girls feeling a pat on her head by Choi.
As Jungeun goes into the dugout, she was being hi fived by everyone. Jinsoul gives her a hug instead causing her to blush.
They were in the lead 4-1.
After Yerim took off both her guards and gloves, she got ready to run as Hyunjin came up to bat.
She was signaled to steal second base by Hunjoon but as she’s about to run, Hyunjin strikes out. The team walks off as the sophomore throws her helmet and bat to the ground in frustration.
“Why can’t I just hit a damn ball?!” Heejin just worriedly looks at her before she steps out to head to the mound.
Seeing Heejin come out, Hyunjin quickly picks up her stuff and enters the dugout to go and catch for Heejin.

As Heejin started pitching, she’s off to a great start. She had struck out the first player that came up so there was one out in the inning.
The next guy to come up fouls off three of her pitches that were a fastball, slider and cutter. The next pitch she throws, he makes contact with and hits it towards third.
Jinsoul dives to make the catch but just misses as Sooyoung runs up to glove it. She throws it to Vivi but the guy stays at first for a single.
Heejin just nods at the base hit and focuses on the next batter. Hyunjin signed her a curve ball to pitch and it causes for the dude to swing and miss.
Heejin pitches a splitter next and he hits a ground ball towards Haseul. She quickly gloves it and runs to step on second before throwing it to Jungeun.
But as she steps on second, the guy slides into the base wrongly and accidentally hits Haseul’s right ankle with his cleats.
“Ahh!” She yells and falls onto the ground as the ball she threw was way off of Jungeun’s glove. The ball misses her glove and lands into the net beside the dugout.
Hyunjin quickly runs to grab it and tosses it to Vivi before the guy can run to third. Both runners were safe as time is called and the crowd quiets down.
Vivi quickly runs up to Haseul’s side and crouched down “Seulie, are you okay?! Where does it hurt?” The younger points to her ankle and she calls for Lee and Hunjoon. The other girls run to see if she’s alright.
“Haseul, are you okay? Let me check your ankle” Lee pulls her to sit up before he gently grabs her ankle. She winces a little and holds onto Vivi’s hand. Hunjoon frowns knowing she’s gonna have to sit out.
“Okay I think you probably sprained your ankle so you’re going to have to leave the game” Lee tells her and she frowns. She was about to argue saying she’s fine but Vivi squeezes her hand.
So Haseul just sighs and nods her head.
“Yeojin! Get ready, you’re coming in!” Hunjoon yells to the dugout where the youngest was. She nods and quickly gets ready.
Lee helps Haseul stand up as Vivi releases her hand. She gives her a smile before Hunjoon and Lee help her off the field.
Yeojin walks out and smiles at Haseul as she goes to her position. Haseul sits on the bench as Lee grabs a bag of ice to put on her ankle.
She was mad at herself for having to come out but the pain in her ankle was hard to ignore. Yeojin was now standing in between second and third base.
Heejin sees that Jinhyuk is next to bat and she secretly rolls her eyes. Hyunjin just ignores him as he smirks at her and doesn’t say anything.
She signs Heejin to pitch him a slider as he sets up. Jinhyuk fouls it off to first and steps back to fix his helmet.
Hyunjin tosses her a ball given to her by the umpire. She signs Heejin a fastball down and in. She nods and winds up before throwing the ball.
Jinhyuk waits for it get closer to give a big swing. He stands still for a second after he hit it before flipping his bat.
Everyone stands still to watch the ball soar through the air and head into the stands. The people erupt into cheer as they just tied the game.
Heejin closes her eyes after watching the ball land in the stands and curses at herself. The girls all curse at Jinhyuk for tying the game.
Hyunjin clenches her jaw as Jinhyuk smirks at her and bumps into her shoulder after touching home plate.
She looks towards Heejin to check up on her. Heejin makes eye contact with her and mouths that she’s fine with a small smile as Hyunjin nods.
They were tied again at 4-4.
Then, Heejin manages to strike out the next two batters. The inning was over and the girls walk to their dugout. Heejin was mad at herself for giving up the home run.
Hyunjin comforted her saying it alright and that they have a chance to break the tie. Heejin felt a little better by being next to the younger.

The game continued on still being tied at 4-4. In the top of the 8th inning, Jinsoul managed to hit a triple with one out.
Which means she made it to third after she hit the ball. Although, she couldn’t score because Vivi struck out and Jungeun lined out.
But in the bottom of the 8th inning, Heejin gave up another home run. One of the guys hit a solo shot towards right and into the stands with only one out in the inning.
She had pitched him a cutter up high and managed to get all over the ball to break the tie.
So it was now 5-4.
Heejin was mad at herself again but Hyunjin called for time to go talk to her. She talked to her and told her it was okay as the other girls also walked up.
Heejin smiled and nodded before thanking her and the other girls. The next two outs were fly balls to Sooyoung and Yerim.

It was now the top of the 9th inning and Yeojin was up to bat. This was their chance to either tie the game or be in the lead. She hoped to get a base hit since this maybe the only at bat for her.
But looks like luck wasn’t on her side as she grounded out to third. Sooyoung came up to the plate after Yeojin.
Getting into her stance, the pitcher throws a slider low. Sooyoung waits and swings at before she starts to run. She watches the ball get thrown to second as she stops at first for a single.
Choi fist bumps her and grabs her elbow and shin guard. The girls were yelling at her for doing a good job as well as the crowd.
She looks up to see Chaewon up next. The senior stays on base as the sophomore takes a ball and a strike. Then, the sound of her bat making contact with the ball causes Sooyoung to run.
Chaewon runs to first as soon as she hit the ball. Jung signals for Sooyoung to stop at second once the ball comes back in.
“Whoohoo! Aye get that shit Wonie!”
“Yes sir!”
Their friends yelled from the dugout as their coaches had a smile on their faces. They could come from behind to maybe win this.
Chaewon was ready to run as she sees Yerim step into the box. Both Sooyoung and Chaewon watch and take off as soon as Yerim hit the first pitch.
Sooyoung had to stop at third because the ball wasn’t hit that far enough. Yerim had hit an infield single which is why no one couldn’t score.
Although, the bases were loaded with only one out and Hyunjin was up to bat. The crowd were on the edges of their seats as Hyunjin walked up.
They were hoping the sophomore can do something to make them tie the game or get in the lead.
So she got into her stance and focused on the pitcher. The girls on base were holding a breath every time Hyunjin would foul off a pitch.
She was getting frustrated as she keeps fouling off every pitch thrown at her. She has fouled off five pitches already and was ready to hit the next one.
The pitcher threw another fastball up high and watches as Hyunjin swings on time to send the ball into the air. The crowd gasps as they stand up to see where the ball goes.
Their dugout were also standing up watching the ball land into someone’s arms. Hyunjin was shocked but then took off running with a big smile.
The girls on base also start running to home after hearing everyone yell and cheer.
“Oh fuck yea! In your face!” Hyunjin yells to Jinhyuk as she passes him and hi fives Jung. He grits his teeth at her and looks away.
After she touches home, the girls were hugging or hi fiving her.
“You saved our ass bro!”
“We just won this game!”
Their dugout was going crazy as she stepped in. Even Hunjoon was jumping around all happy.
He felt proud of his daughter and looked up into the sky with a smile. He hoped his wife was watching them with a smile.
They were in the lead 8-5 now.
Hyejoo came up to bat next. Hyunjin was smiling as she watched the younger and Heejin had gave her a hug that caused for the taller to blush.
Hyejoo knew the pitcher was tired because he kept throwing balls. So when he threw a pitch that was going to be a strike, she swung.
She ran and stopped at first with a single. Hyejoo pointed to the dugout as the girls cheered. Choi patted her helmet and talked to her.
Jinsoul walks up to the plate. Hyejoo put on her sliding mitt ready to run. The senior takes a ball and two strikes before she send one into the outfield.
Hyejoo begins running as Jung signals her to go home. Jinsoul takes off quick and sees the ball come in quick.
She slides head first into second base as Hyejoo slides into home. Cheers erupt as the freshman was safe at home as they add another one.
It was now 9-5.
Vivi comes up to bat next. Jinsoul takes off her elbow and shin guard to give it to Jung. She put on the sliding mitt after taking off her gloves and putting them away.
Vivi steps in to get ready for her pitch. Jinsoul looks over into the dugout to see Hunjoon sign her. She looks away to focus on the pitcher.
Once he winds up, Jinsoul takes off to third. Jinhyuk yells “Three, three!” The catcher stands up and throws the ball to third as Jinsoul dives head first.
She touches the base as the guy applies the tag late. Their dugout cheer for her as she stands up on the base. Jung just pats her helmet before standing off to the side.
The crowd cheers seeing Vivi hit the ball into center field. Jinsoul jogs to home as the older stops at first.
She nods at Choi before giving him her stuff and taking off one of her gloves. The girls hi fived Jinsoul as she walked into the dugout and sat down.
They add yet another one 10-5.
Jungeun steps up to the plate as Vivi prepares to run. The junior takes two balls and fouls off one ball. The pitcher releases the ball and she swings at it as hard as she can.
Vivi takes off to second as Jungeun heads to first. Jung had hold Vivi at second because the ball was thrown in quickly.
So now, there were two girls on base for Yeojin. She walks up to the plate as Jungeun was ready to take off. The youngest tightens her glove before getting into her stance.
She hears her bat make contact with the ball and takes off running. The ball bounced off of Jinhyuk’s hand as he tried to throw it to first but Yeojin was too fast.
He grits his teeth as everyone is safe. The bases are loaded again and Sooyoung comes up to bat.
She could hear how the crowd was waiting for something to happen again. But it seems like it wasn’t her job to put on a show as she strikes out.
She was mad entering the dugout but she let it go since they were in the lead. Up next was Chaewon. The sophomore fixes her helmet and gets into her stance.
The first pitch was swung and missed by her as she had swung late. Then, she manages to foul off the next one but she watches as the first baseman looks up and catches the ball.
She sighs as she was thrown out and the inning was over. At least they were in the lead by a lot.
Their dugout was feeling upbeat at how they knew they could win this. Hyunjin was feeling ecstatic as the end approached quick.

The bottom of the 9th inning was going well as Yeojin had thrown out the first guy at bat. The girls were ready to end this game and show Jinhyuk that women can play a men sport better than them.
The next guy comes up and hits a ball that goes over Vivi’s glove for a single. Yerim tosses it to Jinsoul as they toss around the ball.
They remain calm and hope for Heejin to be able to strike the next two guys. Hyunjin signs her a curve ball to strike the guy out but he swings on time.
The ball is juggled as Jinsoul tries to grab it but she cant. So there were two guys on base with one out.
“Fucking shit!” She yells at herself for dropping the ball. They could’ve ended the game with a double play.
She sighs before looking at the girls “My fault, sorry!” She told them but they just shook their heads saying it was okay.
Heejin threw the same pitch to the next guy three times. And the guy sends the pitch towards center field. The girls hold their breath as it looks like the guy may get a base hit.
Yerim quickly runs after it while keeping her eyes on it. Sooyoung runs towards it as well but Yerim stretches out her body into a dive.
She miraculously catches the ball as she dove into the grass. The crowd erupts in cheers after watching her catch the ball.
She quickly gets up to throw the ball to Jinsoul in case they tried to advance to another base. Sooyoung comes up to her and hi fives her as the other girls yell at her.
“Great catch, Yerimie!”
“Thanks Yerim! Love ya!”
Heejin had thanked her for saving her ass. If she would’ve gave a base hit again, she was going to be so mad at herself.
Their coaches felt relieved seeing the freshman catch the ball and they could win this. The girls gulp seeing Jinhyuk walk up to bat.
Heejin was feeling nervous since she had gave up a home run to him. She hopes to strike him out to win the game.
Hyunjin signs a cutter and gloves the ball once thrown. The ball had hit the lower right corner of the zone for a strike but the umpire called it a ball.
She shook his head and tossed back the ball. Her team were confused but thought it was a small mistake. It was not. The next two pitches thrown by Heejin were called balls by the umpire.
They were either on the corner or the side of the zone. Hyunjin was getting angry so she stood up to argue.
“Come on! Those were strikes! How are they balls?! Get your eyes checked hag!” She yelled at the umpire as Jinhyuk was smirking at her.
Heejin was angry as well as the other girls but couldn’t do anything. Hunjoon wanted to come out and argue but he might get ejected so he just cursed at him from the dugout.
They continued on as the next two pitches thrown by Heejin made Jinhyuk swing and miss. He cursed out loud as Hyunjin smirks behind her mask.
Heejin could strike him out with one last pitch. Everyone were on the edge of their seats. Hyunjin signs a slider down and in.
Heejin nods and grips the ball before getting into position. The coaches were standing watching as Heejin threw one last pitch.
The girls got ready and held their breath. Hyunjin jumps into position ready to glove the ball. Jinhyuk smirks as the ball is released from her hand. He gives a big swing at it and the crowd gasps.
