Taming The Bad Boy By Ivy Coleman Chapter 35

Sam watched Hunter’s reaction carefully, his eyes were wide, his heart pounding against his chest as Hunter blinked slowly.

“You..”

Sam gulped, shuffling when he looked up at Hunter who sat on the edge of the bed, still shocked.

“You… kicked someone so hard they died?”

Sam’s eyes widened as he hit Hunter’s side. “What the hell Hunter! I tell you I killed someone and that’s all you can focus on!”

Hunter caught Sam’s hands as he calmed the irritated boy. “Whoa, relax, relax. I’m sorry—I was just teasing. Listen.” Hunter chuckled as he caught Sam’s face in his hands. Sam pouted as he looked away, he felt seriously messed up, but he was glad he got it off his chest. “It wasn’t your fault at all, it was self-defence. And from what it sounds like… I want to upset you baby but… it sounds like he’s probably done that to a lot of people… if you hadn’t of stopped him he would have hurt you and others.”

Sam nodded, averting his eyes but he still would never be able to shake the guilt away. Later on, when Sam rushed out and called the teacher, Sam explained what happened through tears when he could finally managed to talk. He thought he was going to jail, that he had ruined his entire life. Yet Neal nervously came forward and told them what Tommy had done to him.

Bryan also came forward with a guilty expression and said that although he never saw it, he had a feeling Tommy was hurting others because it was strange how he invited people into the group, people who he could use the fact that he made them popular as an advantage to blackmail them, and then suddenly watch how close Tommy got to them, almost like he was grooming them.

Sam was sent to the Eastville High, luckily not being sentenced since a lot of other students also began to come forward so it was counted as self-defence.

However, for aggressive behaviour (even though it was self defence) they couldn’t let Sam go unpunished and so he was sent to where he is now.

Hunter stroked Sam’s arm as he kissed Sam’s temple. “Are you okay?” Hunter asked, watching Sam to make sure Sam wasn’t going to suffer a breakdown after finally speaking up about it. Sam nodded as he wrapped his arms gingerly around Hunter’s waist, leaning his head on Hunter’s chest.

The door opened as the to parted, Me Hornton coming in as he smiled at

Sam. “Ah, Sam! I see you’re looking well.” he smiled before his eyes fell to Sam’s leg. “Minus… the leg. Oh well, you’ve always got the other one.”

Hunter narrowed his eyes as a low growl rippled through his throat. “It’s not severed in half.”

Sam smiled nervously at Mr Hornton, sneakily nudging Hunter to warn him to change his behaviour as Hunter pursed his lips together and turned his head.

Mr Hornton stayed longer that either one wanted but of course he was worried for Sam. Thankfully, it was not long before he got up and told Sam he’d go fill out the forms, so he could go back to their dorm.

The minute Mr Hornton left the room Hunter dived towards Sam, careful to avoid his leg as he caught the giggling boy in his arms and littered him with kisses again.

Sam laughed, smacking Hunter’s chest as he closed his eyes completely content. Hunter stopped as he sat back up next to Sam on the bed, still keeping his arms wrapped around Sam’s frame.

“You should try this, it’s really good.” Sam said as he grabbed his jello pot.

Hunter opened his mouth as Sam fed him the spoonful, watching Hunter with awe struck eyes, completely smitten by him.

Hunter nodded, humming as he swallowed it down. He leaned his head down, his lips brushing Sam’s ear as he whispered daringly into Sam’s ear, “You taste better.”

Sam turned a scarlet red as he pretended to try and shuffle away from Hunter, but Hunter tightened his grip as he took the pot off Sam and began to feed it to him. Sam insisted he could do it himself, that his hands were perfectly fine, yet Hunter pulled back the spoon with a warning look whenever Sam tried to grab it.

Sam finally gave up, allowing Hunter to feed him until Hunter purposefully missed Sam’s mouth and smudged some of the juice onto Sam’s lips. Sam’s tongue darted out ready to lick it away, but Hunter was quickly grabbing Sam’s tongue out and running it over Sam’s lip.

Sam’s eyes turned wide as the door slowly creaked open. Hunter took his time in putting his tongue back in his mouth, Sam desperately trying to get away before the individual could come in. Hunter smirked, winking cheekily at Sam before he placed the pot on the side when Mr Hornton stepped in. wheelchair but Sam insisted he could do it.

The two helped Sam into his crutches as Mr Hornton offered to get a wheelchair but Sam insisted he could do it.

He hobbled alongside Hunter who kept his arms outstretched like a worried mother. It was really amusing for Sam and Mr Hornton to witness this side of Hunter.

Hunter placed his hands under Sam’s arms once they arrived at the car, Mr Hornton taking the crutches off Sam to place inside the car as Hunter lifted Sam up with ease and helped him inside.

Hunter wanted to let Sam sit on his lap and just stroke every part of his body the entire time. He was seriously craving Sam and the closer they got to the school the more restless Hunter grew.

“And so, we’ll give him as much time as he needs until he feels he wants to start going to class again, though I’d let his leg heal a bit more because the kids in this school can be A holes.” Mr Hornton stated as he talked to Hunter through the door.

Hunter was standing in the doorway, the door half shut as he looked at Mr Hornton through the crack of it. Mr Hornton had already told them everything in the car but now he wouldn’t stop fussing and every time Hunter nodded, trying to shuffle the door closer, Mr Hornton would speak up again.

Hunter was getting restless, especially since Sam was just awkwardly loitering around behind him on his crutches. Hunter narrowed his eyes, glaring at the rambling Mr Hornton when suddenly he felt a small hand grasp at his back, fingers twisting into his shirt.

Hunter craned his head slightly to see that Sam had buried his face into his back, wobbling on his crutches. Hunter thought Sam was probably tired of standing up on the crutches, his leg hurting, and so he jerked his head up, motioning for Sam to sit down on the bed but Sam didn’t move.

Hunter couldn’t see Sam’s red face because it was buried into his back. He did, however, hear the muffled speech as he turned his head to face Mr Hornton.

Hunter’s eyes only widened slightly as he tried not to react in front of Mr Hornton at Sam’s words. Sam’s fingers clutched the shit tighter as he mumbled, “What you asked me before… I want to go out with you.” Hunter bit the inside of his cheek as the fire inside of him roared to life. The fact that Sam had just agreed to officially being Hunter’s boyfriend made Hunter feel like his blood was on fire. Mr Hornton wouldn’t stop rambling and Hunter had enough. He slammed the door shut, startling Mr Hornton who stared at the door inches away from his nose before he just sighed, shaking his head as he walked off.

Sam let go of Hunter, scooting himself over towards the bed as he fell oblivious to Hunter’s burning gaze watching him.

Hunter bit his lip as he walked over further away from Sam and sat down on the floor with his back resting against the couch. Sam frowned once seeing Hunter so far away, he placed his crutches on the bed as he tilted his head at Hunter. “Why are you sitting all the way over there?”

Hunter chuckled, smirking as his eyes twinkled with a darkness Sam knew all too well. “I’m trying to control myself.”

Sam rose a brow, silent before he carefully lowered himself to the floor. He shuffled over the best he could as he watched Hunter give him a scolding look, his hands outstretched as he fussed over Sam and his leg. Sam ignored Hunter as he finally reached Hunter, sitting beside him but then yelping when Hunter suddenly wrapped his arms around Sam’s waist and pulled him up into his lap.

Sam sat with his legs either side of Hunter’s thighs, his chest pressed to Hunter’s chest, nose to nose. Hunter smirked as he wrapped his arms around Sam’s waist whilst Sam’s wrapped around his neck. “You shouldn’t have came over here. It’s hard to restrain myself when you’re so close.”

Sam grinned as he wiggled in Hunter’s arms. “I don’t want you to control yourself.”

Hunter rose a brow as he chuckled, he was suddenly caught off guard when Sam was the one who kissed him first. Hunter’s eyes were still open before he finally flickered them closed and took the lead again. Sam was slowly bashful.

Hunter angled his head, his tongue sweeping over Sam’s lips as Sam parted his lips, his fingers tangling into Hunter’s black locks. Hunter’s hand soothed from Sam’s waist, resting on his behind as he squeezed naughtily.

When the two pulled away, their lips kiss swollen and their breaths mingling together, Sam rested his head on Hunter’s shoulder as Hunter stared one ahead. He rubbed Sam’s back up and down his other hand still not leaving Sam’s ass as he patted and squeezed it every so often.

“Hey.” Hunter said in a husky voice as he tapped Sam’s back with the hand rubbed it. Sam couldn’t be bothered to lift his head from Hunter’s warm shoulder, so he merely hummed in reply. Hunter wrapped his arms tighter around Sam, turning his head to bury his lips in Sam’s hair and kiss his head as he mumbled into Sam’s hair, “I love you.”

Sam froze, fingers stilling against Hunter as his eyes shot open. He pulled back as Hunter slowly loosened his arms from around Sam, allowing Sam to sit up and gawk at him. Hunter rose a brow, patiently waiting as Sam slowly burst into a grin. “REALLY!? I LOVE YOU TOO!”

Hunter pretended to be irritated as he grasped Sam’s cheeks between his fingers, squishing them together so Sam’s lips looked like a fish. Hunter lowered his head, their noses touching as he rolled his eyes,

“You don’t have to scream about it.” he teased.

Sam turned beet red, smacking Hunter’s chest as he pried off Hunter’s hand.

“Sorry—I just didn’t think you’d say that.”

Hunter made a ‘tch’ noise at Sam as he rolled his eyes again. He had to pretend to be annoyed because he just wasn’t used to being so sappy.

Sam grinned excitedly as he grabbed the back of Hunter’s neck and pulled his head back down again as their lips met.

Hunter’s fingers grasped the edges of Sam’s jacket as he slowly began to tug it off, hungry for more.
