Taming The Bad Boy By Ivy Coleman Chapter 39

A+ A-

The three fought alongside Hunter, their fists swinging into the air and slamming down into bruised flesh as crimson painted the floors.

“What the fuck—” a boy screeched when he landed a direct punch on Bear’s stomach who just blinked blankly as he looked down at the boy without so much as moving an inch. The boy gulped as he looked up at Bear slowly. Bear wrapped his large paw around the boy’s face as he picked him up with ease like he was merely holding a dodgeball and tossed him aside.

Carter slammed two heads together, whooping as he did so. He walked backwards, his back crashing into Happy’s as the two stayed together, protecting each other back.

“Yanno… I’m starting to think you’re enjoying this way too much.” Happy chuckled as Carter grinned at him.

“Hell, yeah, I am! Do you know how long it’s been since I got to do this.” Carter chuckled as he slammed his foot into a boy’s ribs. Happy raised a brow as he glanced at Carter before grabbing the arm of a boy trying to swing at him and twisting it behind his back.

“What even got you sent to this school in the first place? I always picked you out to be a really friendly guy.” Happy yelled over the scream of the boy who had just gotten his leg twisted by Carter.

Carter ducked an oncoming punch as he glanced at Happy with a smirk.

“Funny—I had you pegged as the same thing.” he chuckled before he brought his knee up into a boy’s nose. “I got caught banging my teacher.”

Happy’s eyes widened with shock and amusement as Carter smirked at him.

“That’s what got you sent here?”

Carter laughed, “that and I was a troublemaker. We weren’t violent though we just liked to cause trouble, I guess seeing me fuck his wife doggy style was the last straw for my principle.”

Happy laughed throatily as he slapped Carter’s arm playfully. “Man, I thought you were gay.”

Carter laughed as he clapped Happy’s back.

“I dabble in a bit of both.” Carter joked as Happy burst into laughter.

Hunter growled as he picked up two boys by their collars, tossing them into the wall. “Could you two save the flirting for later!”

Happy pretended to be offended as he grasped his chest. “I would never cheat on my true love.”

Hunter ignored them as he reached forward, his leg extending to kick a chest as his hands grabbed the back of two boys’ shirts, pulling them together so they smashed into each other.

“Damn.. now that’s just scary…” Carter muttered as they saw how Hunter was able to take on three or more at a time, yet they had one each.

Finally, one boy was left standing, but the minute Bear looked down at him with his fist raised, the boy went scrambling off.

Happy and Carter laughed, slapping hands as they slumped down the walls panting with laughter.

Hunter kneeled down, chest towards the floor as his elbows hung limply on his thighs. He panted, blood trickling down his forehead as he glanced up at the two out of breath boy’s and the one giant bear who simply sat and waited for everyone to catch their breath.

“Damn, Hunter.” Carter winced as he got up, pulling up Happy with him.

“Shit, are you okay? You really took a beating.”

“But still… to take down twenty guys in the darkness with bats… man you’re just something else.” Happy whistled.

Hunter panted as he stood up on his shaky legs. He nodded, ignoring the throbbing body parts as he glanced around. He frowned, brows knitting together. “Someone… turned on the lights…they knew I was at a disadvantage, so they turned them on to help me…”

Bear nodded as his usual blank face turned into a goofy grin.”That was

Charlie. He likes to read in here cuz it’s quiet and all. Then they all came in, after he turned the lights on he came and got us.”

Carter nodded, resting his bruised hands on his hips. “Yeah, you should have never spoke up.”

Hunter nodded, his head pounding as he closed his eyes, wincing. He really just wanted to get back to Sam, but he also knew that when he saw Sam he was going to have a fit.

“Come on, let’s get out of here before the teachers show up,” Hunter grunted as the three nodded and walked out of the sports hall.

“Where the hell is these teachers anyway… I swear they never show up when things turn violent..” Happy trailed off as he scratched his pink locks.

Upon exiting the door, he stopped when he saw Kay waiting nervously for him by the wall, pacing back and forth with a panicked look painted across his face.

“BABY!!!” Happy grinned playfully as he threw out his arms and rushed towards Kay. Kay’s eyes widened when he saw Happy’s state.

He caught Happy as he clutched the boy grinning from ear to ear, nuzzling his pink head into Kay side. “Geez, Beau! You said you’d come back in one piece!”

Happy chuckled as he nuzzled his head against Kay like a child clinging to its mother. “I am.” He laughed. Kay frowned but as he looked up he saw Hunter’s state and winced. “You should see, Sam. He deserves to know.”

“Well. not like he can hide it…I mean..you could always say you sneezed too hard.” Carter joked as they all took in Hunter’s bloody and bruised.

Hunter ignored Carter’s joke, only nodding at Kay as he began to walk away.

He halted, stopping as he craned his neck back, ignoring the pain.

He glanced at the three.

From Carter who was leaning against the wall, still smirking his cheeky smirk even when covered in bruises.

From Happy who was nuzzling into Kay as if he would disappear from him, all coated in blood yet still smiling.

And from Bear who was holding Charlie’s book to give back to him, bruises scattered along his fists.

Hunter exhaled slowly as he looked at them all.

“Thank you.”

Sam was barely awake when he heard the shuffling noise coming through the door, the exhausted sigh and the sound of shaky hands clasping the wall for Hunter closed his eyes, his hand rubbing his aching temples as he inhaled slowly. He shut the door behind him as he glanced over towards Sam. He smiled softly, his mood lifted as he quietly walked over to Sam’s side.

The naked boy lay sprawled against Hunter’s bed, the sheets tangled around his small frame as his bandaged leg stuck out of the bed. Hunter leaned down, wincing as he did so, his hand gently cupping the back of Sam’s head as he placed a tender kiss on the crown of Sam’s head, his fingers melting into the caramel locks.

Sam stirred as Hunter pulled back, reaching up and pulling off his shirt as his muscles ached in response. Sam’s head was buried in the pillow and so he could not see Hunter’s bruised form as he mumbled, “what’s going on?” Hunter chuckled at how out of it Sam was. He really must have exhausted the poor boy last night. “Nothing baby, go back to sleep.” Hunter chuckled softly.

He undid his belt, slowly sliding his trousers off his thighs as he stepped out his underwear and headed into the bathroom.

As he reached up and turned on the shower head he sat down on the tiled floor, back against the wall as his aching limbs couldn’t handle standing up anymore. He bent one knee to his chest, the other extended out as he rested his hand on his kneecap. His head dipped low, black locks becoming drenched as they clung to his forehead.

His lips parted, inhaling harshly as he moved his head back, leaning it against the wall so the water was not pouring onto his face anymore. His locks dipped into his jaded eyes that grew tired as the sound of the door clicking open echoed in his ear.

Hunter turned his head as Sam stood in the doorway with wide eyes. His crutches were under his arms but the minute he saw Hunter he stumbled back in shock, losing grip of his crutches as Hunter leapt up, reaching out quickly, his fast reflexes kicking in as he caught his hands under Sam’s arms.

Sam’s clothes became a little damp as Hunter caught his crutches in the other hand and helped Sam get back on them. As Sam hobbled to sit on top of the toilet lid, placing his crutches against the wall whilst Hunter sat back down underneath the stream to wash the blood away, Hunter nervously looked at Sam.

Sam said nothing, remaining silent with big eyes as Hunter felt very nervous and tense about how Sam would react.

Sam sighed as he fiddled with his hands, a sad expression on his face. “What happened?”

Hunter raised a slight brow, shocked Sam wasn’t going mad or getting angry at him, assuming he had gotten himself into another fight. Everyone else always assumed Hunter was the one causing trouble… yet Sam waited and asked him what happened first.

Hunter explained as best as he could to Sam, leaving out a lot of gory details as if describing a mature movie to a minor.

Sam took it all in, his head lowered the entire time, so Hunter could not gauge his reaction. Hunter flinched when hearing a sniffle, his eyes widened as he tried to shuffle towards Sam but winced in pain. “Baby—don’t cry.” he groaned out as Sam lifted his head.

Hunter would rather have laid down and taken the beating back there if it was that or to watch Sam cry.

Sam nodded, weeping quietly as he wiped his face. It was then that Hunter noticed Sam was wearing nothing but his shirt which because Hunter’s frame was so large and muscular, looked oversized on Sam’s tiny frame.

“I’m sorry—I—I just… why can’t they just leave you alone.” Sam whimpered as he carefully hopped onto his good foot and limped over towards Hunter.

Hunter chuckled as he opened his muscular arms, waiting for Sam who immediately curled up in Hunter’s chest. The shirt became soaked yet neither cared as Hunter stroked his fingers through Sam’s damp locks.

He kissed Sam repeatedly, gently caressing his body as Sam pulled away after a while. He reached over, Hunter’s hands lingering on him as if reluctant to let him go. A curious gaze settling on Sam’s face.

Sam reached over, grabbing a cloth as he ran it under the stream. He rolled it over Hunter’s bruised skin. Cleaning up his wounds as he dabbed it gently on Hunter’s face, their eyes locking as Hunter gently clasped his hand around Sam’s wrist, pulling the cloth away from his face.

The two leaned in, their lips joining together as they melded as one. Hunter’s hands roamed Sam’s body, stroking every piece of flesh he could find. Sac brushed away Flunter’s dark locks, kissing his cut lip as the two stayed in each other’s embrace.

When the blood had no longer swirled around the drain, Hunter stood up, turning off the shower as he bent down and picked Sam up bridal style. Sam panicked since Hunter was injured but Hunter thought nothing of it as he carried them out into the room and grabbed two towels.

He helped Sam dry first before he dried himself. Though halfway through Sam decided that he also wanted to help Hunter dry.

“Stop.” Sam laughed as he squirmed, flinching. Hunter laughed happily, his eyes sparkling with pure adoration as Sam was sitting sideways on his left thigh, his hands reaching up to dry off Hunter’s hair but every time he raised his arms Hunter would graze his fingers over Sam’s ribs, enjoying watching the boy giggle and squirm.

“Stop! Otherwise…” Sam warned with a stern yet playful expression as he gently hit the towel against Hunter’s nose. Hunter bit his lips, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he brushed his fingers over Sam’s side again. Sam let a giggle ripple from his lips, his hands dropping the towel as he clasped his own hands around Hunter’s and tried to stop the teasing fingers.

Hunter let out a throaty laugh when seeing Sam’s red face that just couldn’t contain the giggles. Sam’s back leaned against Hunter’s arm as Hunter held him close, so he couldn’t fall yet still ran his fingers up and down Sam’s side.

“Hunter! Ah—a—e—en—enough!” Sam cried out with giggles tumbling from his lips. Hunter chuckled as he clasped his arm tightly around Sam’s waist, so he wouldn’t actually fall but lowered Sam’s upper body, so it looked like Sam would fall.

“Tell me you love me, and I’l let you back up.” Hunter teased, grinning as he watched Sam. Sam laughed, squirming when Hunter’s hand tickled his side again.

“AH! N-no! o-okay!” Sam laughed, “I love you! I love you! Now let me go!” Hunter raised a playful brow. “Let you go… well…okay. I thought you didn’t wanna fall but if that’s what you want…” Hunter teased cruelly as he pretended he was going to let his tight grip on Sam go and leave the small boy falling down since his upper body was still lowered.

Sam gasped as he hit his hands on Hunter’s arm where it was not bruised.

“Ah! You’re so cruel! You know what I meant!”

Hunter laughed, pulling Sam back up as Sam immediately clung his arms around Hunter’s neck, burying his face into Hunter’s broad shoulder. “You’re so mean.” Sam muttered as Hunter chuckled, rubbing his back.

“I know, but you love me.”
