JENNIE
Three months left and I’ll be leaving Korea for good. I really wish time could go slower but it just went so damn fast.
I’ve been going on a lot of dates with Lisa despite the hectic school works and extracurriculars. I’ve been preoccupied with my photoshoots too since Chanel had already released their new products and it’s been getting a lot of attention. I really feel like a walking zombie now who kept on mixing school, dating, and work all together in a single cup.
“Are you really leaving in three months?” Jisoo who recently become the talk of the town because of her new hair color sat in front of me with a frown painted on her pretty face.
Gosh. This girl is really a goddess and I still can’t believe that she’s single and not dating!
“I don’t have a choice.”
“How about us? How about Lisa?” I stopped reading for a moment and met Jisoo’s serious gaze.
“Me leaving this country doesn’t mean that we are not going to see each other again—”
“I know. But still, I’ll miss you.”
I reached for her hand and gently pressed it.
“I’ll miss you too. I’ll visit you from time to time so don’t worry and stop giving me that look,” Jisoo’s face immediately lit up.
“Promise?”
“I promise. But for now, you should focus on reviewing because you will be taking your unit test in an hour.”
“Oh shoot! I almost forgot! Gotta go,”
“Go? Where?”
“I’ll be having a date with the librarian!”
I let out a soft laugh. She looked so cute while running away from me. I will really miss her when the time comes.
From Poopoo
I’m so dead!
To Poopoo
Why? And why are you texting when you’re having a class? Focus, will you?
From Poopoo
My professor got angry at me.
It’s okay as long as I’m texting with you😉
To Poopoo
Why? What did you do this time?
You’re such a rule-violator!
From Poopoo
Because he said “How do you spell ‘correspondence’ ?” I spelled it like c-o-r-r-e-s-p-o-n-d-e-n-s-e. Then he told me I was wrong!
To Poopoo
You are technically wrong! It’s “c” not “s” for pete’s sake Lisa.
From Poopoo
Maybe I was wrong but he asked me as to HOW DO I SPELL IT so basically, it’s up for me to tell whether I’m right or wrong!
I facepalmed myself upon reading her reply. Seriously?! This girl is really up to something. She can become a great philosopher because of her unbeatable philosophies!

Graduation Day
This feels like a funeral. I’m wearing a black dress topped with my black graduation gown. I wore a light make up and slightly curled the lower part of my hair.
Jisoo and Chaeng looked so pretty today. They are genuinely happy as they pose in front of the camera.
But Jennie. She’s been ignoring my calls and my messages since last night. I kept on dialling her number but it can’t be reached anymore. I asked Jisoo and Chaeng to call her but they can’t reach her too.
As far as I know, we didn’t argue or anything. This is very unusual, specially today. This is supposed to be the last day that I’ll be spending with her. This is supposed to be the most memorable day of our lives but she’s nowhere to be found!
“Still no signs of her?” Chaeng asked from behind.
“Maybe something happened. She will not do this for no reason specially now that it’s our graduation,” Jisoo added.
Maybe Jisoo’s right but it won’t hurt to message me or update me about what happened right? I’m still her girlfriend and I deserve to know the things about her.
I stayed silent. I can already hear the presenters telling us to gather because the program is about to start but there is still no Jennie walking from the gate.
I’m getting more and more anxious and I was near to breaking down but then I tried to conceal it although it is a bit impossible. I can’t show my sad face to my parents. They went all the way here from Thailand and they’re just gonna see me ruining my own graduation? Hell, no.
“Let’s go Lisa-yah. The program will start in about 2 minutes,” Chaeng tapped my shoulder.
“She’s not coming Lisa. If she had plans of showing her ass here, then she would have been here already,” Jisoo said as she let out a deep sigh.
“I’ll wait. One more minute…”
I waited. But nobody came. All throughout the ceremony, I can’t feel my own presence. My mind is wandering what could have happened, did something bad happen? But Jennie will surely ring me up and not just ignore me. This is not like her at all!
If it wasn’t for the loud applause and cheers, I wouldn’t know that the ceremony had ended.
“Congrats my babyyyyy!” Mom came hugging me. Dad also did the same.
“Congrats our Lisa dear!”
“Thanks mom, thanks dad! Love you both!”
When we let go from the hug, I saw my mom shed some tears.
“Oh come on mommm! Don’t cry, you’re making me tear up too!” I squeezed mom’s hand while dad patted mom’s back.
“I just can’t believe that you made it this far. You really are a big girl now.”
“Your mom’s being emotional again. Anyway, I’m the best dad because of surprises, right? So here is our gift,” Dad handed me a key.
“No way?!”
“Yes way dear. It’s the new model that you’ve been dying to have. It’s in the parking lot,” I squealed and hugged mom and dad once more before I dashed to the parking lot dragging Chaeng and Jisoo who were on their way to my direction.
“Lisa don’t forget our dinner! I’ll message you the address!”
“Got it dad!”
At the Parking Lot
“Hey. You were excited a minute ago and now you looked like someone who’s gonna breakdown any minute.”
“Chaeng’s right. Is something wrong? Why are you staring at your new car instead of riding it already?”
“I just remembered something… I’ve been wanting to have this because Jennie loved this model first.”
There was a moment of a long monotonous silence.
“Why don’t we go clubbing and ditch the fancy dinner?” Chaeng suggested out of nowhere.
“Sound good! Let’s go!”
Before I could respond, they already snatched the key from my hand and dragged me inside the car.
