“I don’t know if this is possible but believe me when I say that my heart beats twice in a split second everytime you look at me in the eyes.“
LISA
“Newbie, thanks for allowing me to borrow your pen,” a girl with a cute cat eyes and great body figure placed my pen on my desk.
“W-what?—When did you? I didn’t—”
“Seulgi. Call me Seulgi,” she said then she winked at me.
She has a knack for making people speechless. I didn’t even lend her my pen.
She’s befriending me way too fast!
“Nice move,” I stood up and offered my hand for a handshake. She accepted it with an alluring smile.
“Lisa”
“Cool. Do you dance?” she asked when I walked passed by her. I looked back at her.
“How did you know?”
“Just a hunch.”
“I guess you too?”
“Yeah. Let’s hangout some other time, eh?”
“Sure. Just ring me up.”
I waved at Seulgi before I get out of the room. She’s cute. I never thought that I will be able to find a friend with the same interest as me in a short span of time.
“Chaeng! I missed you!” I immediately hugged Chaeng and forced a kiss on her cheek.
Don’t be surprised. I really am a sweet and clingy type of person. I intentionally overdo it when it comes to Chaeng because she hates it when I get so touchy with her.
“Get off me you imbecile!”
“You’re so harsh on me jagiya” I cupped her face and made a move as if I’m going to kiss her again. Students who were passing by were looking at us. Some let out a laugh, while others had taken pictures of us.
“What?! Jagiya?!“
“Jagiyaaa, you’re so pretty today!”
“Yah Lalisa! Stop this or else I’ll post your wacky pictures on IG!”
“Okay. That’s a hell of a threat. I’ll stop now.”
I let go of her and helped her fix her messed up hair. That was my doing anyway.
“I came here because the SSG President wanted to meet you.”
“Really? You’re the secretary right? Are you recruiting me to be the face of your organization?”
“Face my foot. You got so much air in your head Lalisa. Let’s go now before I change my mind and bring you to the mental hospital instead.”
“That’s absurd!”
Chaeng dragged me to the building where their office is located. I don’t even know why their president wants to meet me. Is this some kind of norm for new transferred students here? Maybe I will be oriented with the school rules and the like.
We stopped in front of a big wooden door. Chaeng opened the door for me but I didn’t move an inch.
“What are you doing? Get inside now,” Chaeng said when she noticed that I just stood still.
“Oh, am I supposed to go in?” I teased.
“Are you kidding me?”
“I’m liking this moment that you’re stretching your arms to swung the door open for me.”
“Ya! You’re really doing this?!”
“My chipmunk is irritated now. I should go in. You’re not coming with me?”
“NO!”
I made a funny face before I let myself in. The room doesn’t look like an ordinary student office. It was way more than that. This place literally screams money!
It has a room where meetings can be held, it also has a space for the officers —they all have their own comfortable working table with the latest desktop computer on top. They also have a pantry room filled with snacks. This is probably the reason why Chaeyoung had signed up to be a secretary. And last but not the least, it has a gaming room!
You might wonder why I spotted everything easily the moment I entered the room, right? It’s because the walls are transparent.
“Coffee?” I turned around when someone spoke.
There I saw a pretty girl with a cute curtain bangs. She smiled at me and it almost made my heart melt.
“Are you the president?”
“Do I look like one?” she walked closer to me.
“Y-yeah? S-sort of,” I gulped. She held my hand and placed the iced coffee on my grip.
“Ya! Kim Jisoo! Leave Lisa alone and get your ass in here. We got business to do!” Chaeng shouted from the door.
The girl in front of me let out a sheepish laugh.
“I wish I was president though.”
“You’re not?”
“Would that Chipmunk scream to me like that if I was? Hell, no.”
“She wouldn’t be Chaeng without that personality though.”
“See you some other time?”
“S-sure.”
“By the way, you’re cute,” she winked at me before she went to where Chaeyoung is.
What the heck? I guess the people here loves to wink, A LOT.
“Lisa-yah! Make yourself comfortable, you can play in the game room while you wait. She said she’ll be 15 minutes late.”
“Arasso! I’ll call you later.”
Nice. 15 minutes? That’s too short. I hope she’ll be an hour late!
I walk myself into the game room and opened the computer.
“Woah. It has PUBG here? Great!”
I spent the next minutes playing. I was just about to kill another enemy when someone turned the computer off.
“Yah, I was just about to win the game, why did you turned it off! That was so frustrating! Who do you think—JENNIE?!”
I was surprised when I saw the cat-eyed girl looking so pissed off at me.
What the hell?
Wait.
Don’t tell me… don’t tell me she’s the president?!
I swallowed hard at that thought.
Did I just enter the devil’s den?
Fvck Chaeyoung! She didn’t even tell me.
But isn’t this a great opportunity? After all, it’s just the two of us here now.
This could be my chance!
Should I start my plan?
I can do it, right?
Wtf. When did I start talking to myself?
