[ Y/N’s Point of View ]
“Stars and Skies of Teyvat..!” I said through gritted teeth. I stood there for a moment gathering everything i could fathom in a fitted line of a script inside this damn head of mine.
As clear is the moon to me, she is surely not indicating me that i must shoulder all her word for the sake of Inazuma, which i no longer serve.. let alone that stubbornness of hers never one bit took a change.
‘Speaking of Miko… How in the name of Justice i am gonna explain this.’ I though to myself.
To Teyvat knows i might aswell swallow my pride if she ever questions me being with Ei as a witness isn’t something a comfort to speak of… Not to mention she is very well aware about the tension between us…
Though… I do have a choice of leaving and simply let the whole nation know their Archon has disappeared. And Miko herself can figure out the rest, albeit it is not a very bright idea… Let alone she wouldn’t expect her having a battle in a consciousness of elsewhere especially for.. ‘centuries‘ sure enough that would cause a whole nation in uproar or whatever panic that is..
. . .
“Urk… If.. if only-” i shake my head refusing to finish my sentence further, as i began to journey my way above the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Finally arriving by the Shrine, just a few further step away from Miko who appeared to be standing right before the Grand Sakura tree.
“It seems someone’s not in the best of moods… Let me see you’re all tangled up to another situation and need me to unravel it for you?”
Miko claimed turning around as if she had sensed my presence coming from a moment ago. Sure those quick senses of hers are sharp, quick enough to grasp the exact detail i have in mind.
“Y/n it is not everyday i get to see you and it has been centuries from the last time i saw you. And yet you don’t even bother to tell me anything so far from your disappearance, only now appearing to this very day.”
Miko said with her hand slightly rouse before motioning them to go down.
“I though Ei, would tell you everything after my disappearance, it turns out you have no clue at all or do you remain not to ‘know it all’?” I replied to her exclaim with a raised brow, quickly regaining my reason and purpose for coming up here to the point.
*Sighs* “Aside from all of this, you ought to hear me out.” I said as i began to explain her the whole event that took place.
. . .
“Alright… Well yes that does sounds like Ei you speak off. You ought to know she has always been like this, why start fretting now.” She simply said in a shrug and i couldn’t believe what am i hearing. She speaks as if she half heartedly care and as if she had to handle this kind of thing for over a thousand times… Well how can i blame her for the tough job which sounds like babysitter’s doing.
“Look, Miko… Aren’t you gonna go and save your god?” I said with a followed sigh.
“Why must i? She rushed into this without thinking… Ah, she acts like a child sometimes.”
“You seem to be under an impression that i am able to offer some sort of help? Who gave you that idea?”
She finishes, with a crossed arm. I could only raise a brow at her.
“Alright, let me make things clear to you. Miko.” I said lowering my tone.
“I only came here to pass what i ought to for the last time, of course. Whatever may befall Inazuma has nothinh to do with me.”
And for once her expression grew serious.
“You speak that way, although you still came here? May, may if Inazuma really had nothing to do with you… Why bother coming all this way to begin with?”
“As i said, i only came here to pass my word nothing more. I am a person of promise, thus i can do no more than this… I have other business to finish, if you excuse me.” I declare turning to leave.
“… Speaking of business, Is it a piece of paper you speak of?” Miko’s remark stopped me from stepping away further, i stood there frozen in my trail. And sure enough that the Document could be in her very hand, why? She is of course, the one whom they call a fox envoy.
“Judging from the way you stopped, then that alone proves i am correct.”
Tsk- Dammit, i suppose she is a sly fox for nothing. I turn to her, with a crossed arm, my gaze threatening her to speak.
“Now, don’t give me that look, for this poor maiden heart of mine cannot possibly take-”
In a verge to roll my eyes i take my chance to speak interrupting her. “Get to the point.”
“Fine, you are by the same, Ei speak of. *She sighs* Now, how about we strike a deal? Hm~”
“What exactly.” I say impatient on my feet.
“You get my god with your very own hands back to me, in return i will give what you have been looking for.”
“And how are you certain, it is what i am seeking for?” I question her still not clearly convinced, clear enough that growing up with people like her has instilled cautiousness into my bones.
“Well, i may not have the little booklet with me at the moment but, i am far certain it is something you seek, if not then.. you wouldn’t bother breaking within Tenshukaku in the first place.”
Miko exclaimed, now that she puts it this way, sure enough that the personnel information of the Fatui had befallen in the hands of the Fox envoy, but.. for some reason i needed confirmation.
“Tell me why should i believe you? First give me a reason, then i might aswell save that god of yours.”
Her face went coy, her hand motioned to cover her mouth with a chuckle as she spoke. “May, may well. A reason you say, how about this, i must ask you…” She paused for a moment before slowly stepping down, coming to me speaking in a more lowered tone.
“Why would Inazuma’s once proud mighty and great Tengu who stood in equal command of a God.. even to be with one… Doing in a Heinous Organization under Tsarista’s rule? May, you surely did not abandon your once proud duty you speak of. A warrior once respected with honor now your nothing more than a felon whose hand had heavier blood than ever.”
… As she spoke each word she uttered sent a sharp shoot, striking every nerve i had, as clear it is, she do have a tongue sharper than blade itself.
. . . Tsk– silence was all i could return, for i could not deny the truth of her word. It was throwing a salt straight to the wound.
“I wouldn’t blame you… Honestly if the Death of previous Electro Archon is what made y-“
“She killed me.” I interrupt her. As i regain every composure i had back to the reality. Inhaling the fresher air back to my lungs as i speak to remind her of what she hasn’t yet known.
“You, and your child of a God had ended me when i was off to save her sister.” Forced at my turn, she could tell the visible pain that burned in my eyes, alone it was enough for her to read.
“..You… Were known for you Traitorous act-“
“Traitorous? How ridiculous. If you were too in my footing, serving Inazuma with all your blood, pledging your loyalty to a God, your soul shackled to one duty. To protect and to fight. And in the end you get only to be disposed of, because you were pinned for something you did not do.”
We both could only stare at each other, and i with a heavy heart had to turn away.
“Rest assured… Your act wasn’t public, Ei had only told me abit except for the whole story.”
She sighs, as she speaks one more with my back was the only thing that could greet her.
“Look, i won’t force my hand weither you aid me in getting back Ei or not, you can leave and search whatever you have, or go back empty handed. For all i care. I will leave this deal open for you to decide, i shall be waiting by the entrance.”
Miko declared before brushing past me, with my pride remained swollen and intact. How can i possibly go there and be a service of whom had ended me? But it why does seems that i still stand to her as if i had forgotten all the hate, only if she did not bore the same face then it would be easier to bring myself looking for vengeance.
This is absurd…. Only if… Well… If i had a answer of what led to that day then i would ease away my grieve. For that i know there is no taking back the dead, i have a promise to carry… Her letter… Just where is it.
