[ Y/n’s Point of View]

You’re late.”

A sharp cold voice echoes within the room as i enter, closing the door behind me in turn. I walk my way in silently with my face burrowing down the ground, i fall with one knees on, not daring to look up.

“Stand up, i do not wish to see you this way Y/n.” She commands, so i rise per her orders, still still with my face faced down the floor unable to meet her gaze.

Her footsteps made a clear indication of its way toward me, the echoes it makes every single step she takes feels as if the ground itself is cracking. Gods, have forsaken me.

“Look at me into the eyes, Y/n”

I couldn’t bring myself to.

“As i said..” she mutters while lifting my chin up with the tip of her finger forcefully making eye contact with her. The skin of her fingertip felt as if it is the ice itself.

. . .

“How strange.” She breaks the silence. “Don’t you usually flutter every time you meet me, why the change..” she pauses.. before she adds.

What could possibly be in your mind other than duty and me?”

“Aside from my mind, what exactly is the reason you have called for me this early, not so close from what you so planned.” Said by me trying to dodge her question. In the wonder that if she have she forgotten that she is the one to plan eliminating any suspicion bought between us.

Well, yes frankly many of the fatuis claimed it to be unusual for Tsaritsa to be taking in too much favors towards me eventually, but to my surprise she wouldn’t usually condemn me not once did i expect it in meetings that is sure enough to lower any suspicion but the same isn’t for the Harbingers who has been around for centuries as i am. Well at very least not like all of them would care to such an extent.

You ought to be certain of it yourself.”
She pitches catching my attention to her as she drops my chin and as she turns walking towards her table.

. . .

“Have you again thought of her.”

“Pardon?”

“Oh don’t play dumb, i know very well there is only one person capable of pulling such reaction from you.”

“Your silence, again tells me otherwise, is that a yes.” She speaks while rummaging through papers and finally she turns to me. Her expression unreadable and I’m like a prey just before her.

“I have mentioned assigning you to a mission which is specially… In a land your familiar with, well perhaps even for today only if after centuries in the hope that nothing has changed.”

Ah yes. Inazuma, oh the misery but, i must have to admit i long for a touch in that land in the bottom of my heart. As i know it would feel as home than what i am in.

“You mentioned ‘document’, if i am correct did perhaps the archives were taken along with La Signora.” I question her.

“That saves explanation for me if you know what it is for.”

For the love of Teyvat she seriously didn’t lost in not in the hands of another Archon not especially.. Tsk–
That documents does not hold that much of importance but it contains information of every single officers and Fatui profile, i can even guess my details are written along with it, i might pray and say she did not stumble into a page to find me alive. Oh, Archon of Justice, save me some trouble, have mercy. I still believe she highly hopes of me dead.

“I’ll leave such tasks to you for i am in the faiths that you are capable of getting your duty clean.”

“..Sending me anywhere is sure to be. However, it is not the same said for Inazuma, who knows if what trouble i may rouse. A war, perhaps?”
I exclaim, and i know well that my hatred the desire of revenge now ignited its place. As clear i have my assumption struck that no one else would be so capable of erasing Signora’s existence other than her.

“You are a reasonable of sort. Y/n, but to speak otherwise, the price that will cost you is something you should be certain of.”

She reaches the scroll to me and so i reach to take it grabbing but only finding her gripping towards it not letting go, i glance at her and back at the scroll.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” She looks at me with the eyes of expectations.

“Afraid not, your Grace the papers are what i am here for and i will proceed to do my miss-“

“Must you mention everytime is work, duty, and whatever else when it is clear that the things between us alone here is set for something else?”
She began to tug my wrist and i don’t budge seemingly hesitant, though i know what she meant i dare not and even today i am not into such–

Come closer, this is an order.”

Her eyes momentarily flicks a glow, so does my delusion, the pain it inflicts on me is threateningly excruciating as much as i know this gadget is under her control, without wasting time in this misery take a step closer to her wish she reaches her free hand to my cheeks caressing it, her hand felt so cold, as cold than ice itself so i activate my pyro delusion as she does in order to keep myself warm while the coldness of her remnants caresing my skin.

You have endured my bitter cold for all these centuries.”

“And in the end you still continue to rely in the thing you once denied.” She adds, and thats where i start to pull back with the scrolls now in my hand.

I do not remember allowing you could leave” She hisses, the room again turning cold and so i activate my pyro delusion for the sake of not freezing again this once.

“Your Grace i–”

I was interrupted with a knock behind the door

“I am here to report.” the voice behind whom i familiar with is definitely coming from Pierro himself and if it is him i am saved from my position, that even Tsaritsa can’t find any reasonable excuse to refuse so but if she wishes she would however, Pierro holds utmost importance.

Give us a moment” She booms while shooting a cold glance at me, knowing that i left my victorious smirk intact, well i couldn’t care less I’ve gone too bold to this point where i find myself fortunate enough with my flesh by neck intact up to this day.

“For the sake of time’s day your lover had abandoned you, and you must know who you belong to now”

“I belong to no one other than myself. I have not been abandoned.”

“Then betrayed.” She exclaims, and so i narrow my eyes at her trying not to buy her taunts, for an Ice Queen she sure does pick what word is fit to salt the wound.

“Tomorrow starts your quest, return as soon as you finish everything be sure to report anything of sort.”

She finally finishes but holds her hand out to me in a way again expecting me to kiss it. Oh, what an old fashioned way but fine i must show courtesy..

I take a step closer taking in her hand planting a kiss in the back of it, unexpectedly she pulls me by the collar immediately that i could even have the time to—My lips felt cold.

. . .

Pulling away, in a panted breath growling bewildred i turn away wiping my mouth caught off guard by her sudden turn of actions.

“May the fate led you in your way.”

She exclaims her voice echoing through the room. I dare not to turn around and speak, except for silently walking away from this forsaken room to leave passing by Pierro as i do.

. . .

. . .

“Unbelievable truly.” I groan as soon as i arrive by time walking my way in the lab, it seems the Doctor isn’t here yet today im sure he isn’t cancelling any meeting between us not to mention there is a something we both needed to discuss. I look at myself through the reflection glass of the tube seeing my flustered face from it, i shake my head.

Ugh, Y/n you buffoon how could you be so, so–!

“Oh you’re earlier than i estimated.”
Interrupted by a familiar voice behind me. I know it well enough I don’t even attempt to turn for a glance.

“Surprisingly your late than the usual, Doctor.”

“If not for such unfortunate turn of event i wouldn’t be so. Y/n you’re heading to Inazuma by tomorrow, correct?” He questions me while taking off his coat down also noticing that he takes one of the injection with a grin, again i will never be used to this sort of method.

“Precisely.” I sigh.

“And i am sure the Tsaritsa might have listed you aswell in retrieving the Gnosis, correct?” He adds, while i turn to him with a rised brow, i haven’t even checked the scroll yet all my mission must be listed there.. could he be.

“You act as if you know everything as usual Doctor.”

“Am i wrong though? Oh waste no more it is time for your daily dose.”
He smiles at me and i couldn’t do more than just loudly sigh, just doing this every day makes me sick. He approaches me reaching for my wrist piercing the needle down my vein, i watch as the liquid flows in slowly and painfully.

“When must this end exactly.”

“Instead of a small shoot, count yourself lucky that I won’t be drowning you down the tube.”

“Must you do countless unnecessary things just because i cannot die?” I bite back with him giving me a chuckle. Oh, a childish reaction.

“You are the very first person (product) I’ve never lost so far, perhaps even longer than the Balladeer himself, it can’t be helped, being a genius is a curse to me so does your blessings.”

Oh the audacity of this…
.
.
Patience. Y/n. Patience.
If not for this gadget that holds me down i would have murdered him not so long ago.

“Ah, speaking of which i nearly forgot, how about we strike a deal before the dawn.”
