“That’s it! I’m not going out of the room anymore!” I exclaimed irritatedly sitting back on the bed in anger.

“What’s wrong?” He asked running a hand over his wet hair. A towel wrapped around his waist, giving me the perfect view of my nail and bite marks.

“Am I supposed to go out with these?!” I asked pointing a hand over my neck and waist, highlighting our amazing night with bite marks.

“What’s wrong in that? That’s your husband’s love, you should show off it proudly.” He shrugged pulling out a shirt from the wardrobe.

“Then you also don’t wear it. Shouldn’t you also show your entire office how much your wife loves you!” I yelled at him, snatching the shirt from his hand.

“But fresh marks will be more better..” He said leaning to close to me.

“You literally ate me last night. So I’m very hungry right now and I have to go down for breakfast as soon as possible.” I blurted, stepping back and fixing my saree because I suddenly felt the urge to wear a saree today.

The amazing thing is he didn’t even minded telling me how I look.

“Who’s telling you to go down for breakfast when you already have it here?” He said leaning closer to my face and I couldn’t help the redness around my cheeks.

“You’re too horny, Arhaan!” I exclaimed throwing the shirt at his face before walking to the dressing table and grabbing the concealer from there, painting it all over my neck.

“But only for my wife, Akshara.” He answered putting on his shirt and buttoning it.

I always wanted a nickname but now the best thing I can hear from his mouth is my name.

I looked from all the angles and sighed when the marks were almost invisible. “There’s still one mark left.” He said fixing his tie.

I turned back to the mirror and looked carefully. “There-” I lowered my voice when I turned back to him and found him standing exact close to me. “-isn’t any..” I muttered.

“Because I haven’t gave you another yet.” He said before leaning to me and planting a kiss at my neck. I shook in a sharp breath

He instantly stepped back making an awful face. “What did I just tasted?!” He asked. I grinned realising it and showing him my hand with “Concealer.” That’s what happens when you try to be over smart.

I walked to him and sighed. “Now I’ll have to fix your taste.” I said pulling him by his tie and putting my lips on his. He instantly joined in, pulling me tightly by my waist.

I broke the kiss standing straight again and was about to leave the room when he stopped me by his hand. “Suno naa” He said in a soft voice.

“Bolo naa” I said turning to him and he suddenly pulled me to him by my hand, causing me to hit his chest. “I don’t want to go today.” He said and I glared at him.

“You’ve already said it 5 times and I’ve already answered you 6 times that no! You’ve already took leave so many times and you’re not taking any more leave unless it’s necessary.” I told him.

“It’s absolutely necessary! ” He said and I hit him slightly on his head. “I’m going down for breakfast and you also come there soon, horny Arhaan!” I said before walking out of the room.

I stepped down the stairs and went to the dining area.

“Did you also fell from the bed while sleeping?” I heard a new voice and looked there to see Vansh also sitting there too. Arhaan told me about him coming here because his parents are going out of the city for some work basis.

Reyansh, Shaurya and Neil looked at me while Maa and Arhaan’s father didn’t paid attention. He continued talking to them.

He literally fills their stomach with business talks and I also wonder if he really has something else in his life or not.

“No, why?” I asked again walking forward when Vansh asked me again.

“Then why are you walking so weirdly?”

I stopped on my tracks and again looked at others. I closed my hands in fist when I saw the three of them controlling there laughs with there heads down.

“I-I think I forgot my phone back in the room.” I said awkwardly before taking a U turn and running back to my room.

“You’re eating speed is increasing day by day.” Arhaan said taking a last look at his phone before putting it back in his pocket.

“I’m still hungry Arhaan!” I said irritatingly sitting back on the bed in anger. Can they really understand about what we did? Naah! It’s a normal thing people normally trip down and fall then walk weirdly.

“Now you tell me who’s being horny.” He said wrapping his arms and I glared at him. “I haven’t eaten yet!” I mumbled looking down.

“Why?” He asked worryingly, putting his palm down my chin and forcing my head up.

I opened my mouth to answer but didn’t said anything. He sighed. “When did you became that shy?” He asked before walking out of the room.

I waited there for a minute before he came back with a plate in his hands. “These are made by maa and Healthy too.” He said handing me the plate of Aalu ke paranthe.

“AAH!” I said putting the plate beside me on the bed. “It wasn’t that hot, was it?” He asked taking my hands in his hands and looking at it carefully.

“My hands are paining, and I can’t eat unless someone helps me.” I complained biting my lips to control my smile.

“First you tell me to go and now you’re making me late.” He said squatting down in front of me. “You’re boss for a reason baby.” I said and he chuckled.

He fed me some bites and I enjoyed the food and him both. “Aren’t you gonna eat?” I asked with my mouth full and He glanced at me before taking another piece of food in his hand.

“I’ll eat once you’re ful—” I interrupted him in the middle by stuffing a big piece of parantha in his mouth.

He glared at me, chewing the food in his mouth. Suddenly something striked to my mind.

“Did you eat anything yesterday or not?” I asked with narrowed eyes swallowing the food in my mouth. Is there a chance that he stayed hungry all day only because I wasn’t home?

He nodded.

I myself ate double in anger yesterday and was expecting him to be hungry! I also nodded and took another bite from his hand but again stopped. “But What?” I asked

“You.”

I choked on my food, coughing loudly when he handed me the glass of water. Here he was getting tortured in hunger and there I was eating even his share.

“I’m full you can eat the rest.” I said standing up from the bed and walking here and there in the room. He just kept staring at me with a hidden smile on his lips which wasn’t completely hidden.

“Arhaan.” I said walking to a corner of the room. He hummed with his mouth full and I started walking. “Am I walking normal?” I asked and I saw a smile forming on his lips.

He’ll need a wheelchair if he laughs by even mistake.

He nodded giving me a thumbs up before his phone started ringing and he answered the call.

“Yeah I’m coming.” He said taking the last bite and running outside, I also followed him before someone called me in the middle.

“Bhabhi..” I looked behind to see both Reyansh and Shaurya standing there. “What?” I asked.

“I want your help.” They both said in sync before looking at each other with narrowed eyes. “Look, I’m busy let me talk first then you can.” Shaurya said turning to me.

“I’m busier than you, you can wait.” Reyansh said holding my hand. “Reyansh, it’s for your own benefit so let me.” Shaurya said holding my hand and pulling slightly to his side.

“You both leave her hand right now and talk from one meter distance.” Arhaan shouted with a phone over his ears from outside the door and they both left my hand in swift motion.

“Bura mat manna par aapka pati ek jalkukda hai.” Reyansh said with a smile in a polite tone. “Agree.” Shaurya said.

“Let me talk firs—” I cut them both. “Who’s the best?” I asked loudly. “You.” “Who?” And I looked at Shaurya. “You’re first.” He instantly motioned me to walk to a corner and I went with him.

“What is it?” I asked. He took a deep breath before saying. “I don’t know how to put this…If Reyansh..” He gulped. “Likes your friend or something then I don’t want to come in way. I didn’t find anyone more understanding than you so you can tell him if he has any feelings then he does not need to stop because of me. She doesn’t likes me anyways.” He shrugged.

“What about you?” I asked as I noticed a nervousness in his voice. “I fall for every second girl everywhere, I’m not hurt. Agar wo majnu at least move on kar sakta hai then that’s the best for me. Now you can listen to him. And yeah thankyou.” He said before walking away before Reyansh suddenly appeared. “My turn!”

“Reyansh just because I’m not doing any job right now doesn’t mean I’ve got the entire day to waste. If you have to say then say quickly!” I said after watching him looking everywhere finding words instead of saying anything for over a minute.

“Yes, yes! I just wanted to ask you…” he said and I waited for him to continue. “How to get rejected by a girl instantly?” And my eyes enlarged. “You wanted to ask this?!” I asked and he nodded. I put a palm over my forehead.

“How can I answer this now? It depends on the girl’s choice.” I told him and his brows furrowed. “Any tip?” He asked again. “Just be disrespectful and that girl will kick you in the ass.” I answered and he thought for a second before going back muttering “My father will make me do anything!”

I’ll talk to him later about whatever Shaurya said.

I walked outside to find Arhaan. I saw his car in garden and looked out the main door to see him talking with a girl.

“Her name is Navya, right?” I heard a voice and looked beside to see no-one. “I’m here!” I bent my neck downer to see Vansh with another lollipop in his mouth.

His teeth are in danger.

“How do you know her?” I asked, looking in their direction as She was looking through some files and kept handing Arhaan some. “I saw her once in Chachu’s cabin.” I raised my brows in amusement, leaning against the car.

“I want to seat on it.” He said from beside me. “Then seat!” I said looking in their way, Is that big smile required too?

“Make me seat!” He said and I realised he can’t seat on it himself. I carried him and put him on the car, again turning to them.

“Don’t you think they are taking longer time than needed?” I asked him. “Don’t worry, you’re more sexy.” He said and I nodded “You’re righ—” I stopped gasping and turning to him.

“That’s not a word for kids to use!” I exclaimed looking at him. “Papa always says that to mumma whenever she looks beautiful and mumma also glares at another aunty when they talk to papa.” He told me. That is why! Kids are dangerous, they open up everything with everyone.

“Shut up, I’m not getting jealous!” I told him when my eyes went to the 4 lollipops in his little waist bag.

“Give me one of your lollipops.” I said forwarding my hand to him. “I don’t have any.” He said and my jaw dropped.

“You’re just like Arhaan! Liar!” I said pointing at the lollipops.

“Neither me not my chachu is a liar! I said I don’t have any for you!” He said and it really hurted my feelings. “Why?” I asked him.

“Since you came here, he has stopped visiting me.” He said pouting and I hate myself! I really hate myself because I smiled at it instead of denying to it.

“Ole le le, bacche ka jalan hori hai?” I asked holding him by his both cheeks and shaking his head causing his face to turn redder and he jerked my hands off his cheeks.

“You’re too bad!” He exclaimed. “I know!” I said pulling a lollipop out of his bag. “You’re a thief too!” He said wrapping his arms and I looked at him. His chubby cheeks looking like two-two balloons.

“You called me thief?!” I asked angrily opening the wrapper and putting it in my mouth. My eyes widened and my eyebrows furrowed slightly. I puckered my lips, as my taste buds were hit with an intense sweetness that I found overpowering.

“How the fu— how on the earth you like strawberry flavour?” I asked him with a frown and noticed a satisfaction over his face. “You were about to curse, right?” He asked with a grin.

“I was, any problem?” I said looking again in Arhaan’s direction to see them still talking. “You’re so rude!” He muttered pulling out his lollipop from mouth before putting it back after saying.

Last time I remember, I wasn’t this rude to any kid. There’s something about him that’s forcing me to be rude. “Do you even know the spelling of rude?” I asked with raised brows, he can’t be more than 5-6 years old.

“Be quite, I’m focusing on them both shaking hands.” I jerked my head to Arhaan and Navya instantly and saw them both shaking hands. “Is it necessary to shake hands always?” Vansh asked looking at them.

I shook my head, “No, why?” I asked. “Then it means Chachu wanted to shake hands.” My eyes lit and I turned back to Vansh and glared at him. “You think I’ll get jealous by that?” I asked and he nodded with a big and cute smile.

“Shut up and seat qu—” I was cut in the middle by Vansh pulling out his all lollipops and asking loudly. “Which one do you want today?” He can’t be so sweet to me suddenly, can he?

My doubt was cleared when I looked at my front to see Arhaan staring at me before looking at the lollipops in Vansh’s hand.

“If you had so many flavours then why did I had to get the one I hate?!” I muttered before I suddenly felt the lollipop in my mouth pulled out.

Arhaan put it in his mouth and I heard a loud “ewwww” and turned to Vansh to see his shocked face. “You could take these instead of taking hers…” He suggested.

“But the flavour I love is coated over this one.” Arhaan said winking at me and I kept glaring at him for taking my lollipop. He could at least ask before taking it.

“I don’t like this friend of yours, so you’re not talking with her.” I gasped looking at Vansh and his audacity to say this. “Don’t forget you’re mother threw you here because she was annoyed of you!” I said pointing my index finger at him, I noticed him panicking.

“Liar! You’re friend is a liar and thief too!” He said turning to Arhaan. “What do you thi—” I was stopped by a hand over my mouth.

“Can’t you understand Akshara that I’m back here after handing the important files to her even though I’m getting late then there might be a reason?” He asked and I heard Vansh muttering from the side. “Brainless Akshara.”

I’m sure he did his manners class from the same place Arhaan did.

“What is it?” I asked with a seriousness in my tone as he removed his hand from my mouth. He glanced at Vansh then carried him down to ground. “Go inside.” I saw him pouting before walking inside slowly.

Arhaan again turned to me and stepped closer, holding me by my both arms. “I’ve made a decision.” He said and my brows furrowed in curiosity. “About what?” I asked and he was going to say further when I heard a loud yell.

“Arhaan he’s not there!” Shaurya yelled and I looked behind to see his tensed face. “What?!” Arhaan exclaimed tensely before glancing at me and going inside holding my hands.

“I never went inside your basement before.” I muttered taking smaller steps down. He didn’t replied and we kept walking downstairs.

Why am I having a bad feeling?

We reached the floor and saw Reyansh and Neil already there. I looked all around and found the place filled with some old things. My eyes lit when I saw a plate of food on the ground.

Only thing if the lights were deemed then it would be more filmy.

“How can he ru—” I cut Arhaan in the middle asking “Who was here?” I looked at them all with narrowed eyes when Arhaan held me by my shoulder, turning me to him.

“I’ll go check out.” Reyansh said before walking away. “We will also try to find some information..” Shaurya also said holding Neil’s hand and dragging him out with him.

“This is what I was about to tell you.” My breath became heavier as everything felt so tensed, even his eyes, it weren’t that warm but cold.

It’s always this way.

Whenever I think everything is going well something worse comes my way.

Why am I thinking so negative!!

Calm down Akshara.

“Siddharth was here.” I felt a small relief but then again panic took over me. “But why?” I asked that only came out as a whisper as my heart was still heavy.

“Because.. He hurt you.” He said and I took a step back in disbelief. “For god sake Arhaan, don’t say that you’ve hurt him in any way.” My voice trembled as fear took all over me. He didn’t said anything.

“What did you do to him?” I asked again walking to him and holding him my arms. “Nothing, just gave him some shots for unconsciousness.” He answered looking down.

“Where is he now?” I asked with a heaviness in my voice. He shook his head in no and I tightened the grip of my hands around his arms.

“You know he was involved with that letter writer, right?” He nodded.

“You also know the fact that he can kill him, right?” He nodded.

“But do you know that who can be blamed for that?” His eyes rose to me and stared at me.

“You can be okay but I can’t. I can’t let another fake blame come over you. I don’t want you to be more hurt, Arhaan.” A tear dropped down my eyes as I punched him softly on his chest before he pulled me to his chest.

“Then Why do you do these mistakes?” I muttered hugging him tighter. If anything happens to Sidharth then the first person suspect could be Arhaan and his old accusation aren’t even proved wrong completely yet.

That fucker can use this for his benefit very easily, killing him and putting all the blame over Arhaan and that’s what I can’t let happen all over again. I wasn’t there to stop it the first time but I’ll make sure that there isn’t the second time either.

We stayed like that for some seconds before I pulled away.

“Did you asked him anything?” I asked wiping my tears. He made a tsk sound pulling me by my head and getting my hands away from my face and running his thumb over my tears softly .

“He didn’t know anything.” He answered tucking a hair lock behind my ear. I knew it earlier.

“Even though you guys made a mistake by keeping him here, but did you not even tied him?” I asked looking around and finding no rope like in the movies after the hostage runs away and ropes are shown on the floor.

“No.” And I hit him on the head for this mistake. “This is why watching movies necessary.” I said and he giggled at this causing me to hit him on his back again.

“So some of them left the door open and he ran away.” I said putting a finger over my chin and looking everywhere again with narrowed eyes, turning my detective mode on.

I saw him leaning against the wall and looking at me with amusement. I ignored him and kept my inquiry on the way. “When did he ate last time?” I asked and Arhaan answered. “Last night.”

That’s the easiest time to run away.

But if he ran, then where? I should check his home first. I pulled out my phone and was about to call Aaliya when Arhaan interrupted me. “I’ve checked already he’s not there.” I sighed putting my phone back.

“Fine let’s continue where I was. Last meal was at night, who gave him?” I asked turning to him to find him in the exact same position and his eyes still on me.

“Neil.” He said and I joined my both hands in excitement. “He left the door open!” Absolutely who else can be more careless than Neil.

“No, I checked on Sidharth after he was done eating.” I furrowed my eyes again thinking. “Then did someone go there later ?” I asked Arhaan and found him still looking at me.

“Your eyes are distracting me, Arhaan” I said and he raised his brows. “Is that also my fault?” He asked and I greeted my teeth, smiling and shaking my head.

“Yes, Shaurya went to give him a medicine for headache that asshole was begging for.” The weird thing is that I didn’t felt bad, instead it was good for him to feel pain because of the wounds he gave me.

I’m slowly turning into a criminal

“So it was Shaurya who left the door open!” I exclaimed, he may have something like medicine or glass in his one hand and his another hand is fractured so he left the door open!

“No! I checked after that, he was still there.” I rolled my eyes and asked again. “Then… did someone go after that for anything?” I asked and he nodded, absolutely in the same position and his eyes still on me.

“Reyansh went there to ask him some questions, not a single useful answer was received.” He said and I smiled turning to him. “Reyansh left the door open!”

Sidharth might have added something related to love and Reyansh remembered his past then the sad music started playing in the back of his head making him exit the room in sadness and leaving the door open.

“Naah, I checked on him even after that.” Arhaan said before walking to me. “Then was it me who left the door open?!!” I exclaimed in anger before it hit me.

Arhaan just discovered about Sidharth running away, then how did he checked already wether he is home or not?

“No, it was me.”
