Living in this world isn’t as great as I thought. I wish I hadn’t made the promise that day.
Tears rolled down from Great’s face on seeing the dreadful sight he never imagined, even in his dreams. Maybe this was his final destiny which can’t be reversed.

The exams for this semester were going to begin. While lying on his bed Great thought of asking for help from korn as he hasn’t prepared much for the exams.He dialed his number.
*beep beep*
*Korn picks the call*
Korn : Hello. What’s up great?
Great : It’s good dude. Actually I called you to ask for some help with the upcoming tests.
Korn : Yes, what is it?
Great : Can you help me learn some of those defence techniques an descriptions of latest military guns.
Korn : Of course. You just relax, I will help you with all of it. We are best friends after all.
Great : Thanks dude. I know I can always rely on you in these situations. After all you are the top performer of our class.
Korn : haha you don’t need to mention it. But great I know you aren’t interested in this course at all. Why are you studying this? You have enough money to do what you want. Are you forced by someone.
Great : Mmmmmm…. Actually it’s kind of true and false. I don’t like it but my brother requested me to do so. He said..
*Someone knocks at Great’s door*
Great : I will talk to you later. Someone’s here. Bye.
Korn : Ok but..
*The call ended*
“Who could be here this late at night?” Great thought as he went towards the door. He had a gun in one of his hand as he was the son of a mafia head so risk of death was constantly high.
*He opens the door*
It was Vegas.
“Bro? How come you are here this late at night?” Great said looking at Vegas with relief in his eyes.
*Vegas looks towards the gun which was in his brother’s hand*
“Seems like my lil bro has learnt how to protect himself” Vegas said with a smirk on his face.
“Of course I have to. I was moribund last time if you wouldn’t have come to save me!!”
“Yes I know, Now can I come inside or are you gonna talk like this at the door.”
“Oh yes.”
*Vegas walks in and great locks the door*
*They both sit on the sofa*
“So, has anything very inauspicious happened in the group for you to come suddenly at this hour?” Great asked with questioning eyes
” Yes, some utter chaos has occurred.”Vegas replied.
“What happened ?”
“As you know, our rival ‘ Enforcers ‘ already have a huge share in the armory and weapons market. They are now going to focus on drugs trade too”
“How is it related to the chaos in our group?” Great asked.
“It is related. Do you know why they didn’t set foot in the drugs market till now?”
“Why?”
“Because they need to have the secret formula of one of the most demanded and dangerous drug ‘antiphyne‘. Without it they can’t expand their business in drugs because most high level dealers have this drug as their top priority. Now they have the formula because one of our ‘cartel ‘ has sold the secret to them!!!”
” And if they set their foot in this market they will be more powerful than us. We will lose our top position in the underworld. Many of our cartels will join hands with them. Some are even planning to do so. We might be overtaken.”
” Is there no way to stop this? ” Great asked
“There is but I will need your help. “
“But Vegas, you know I don’t want to be involved in the ordeals work”
“You are the only one who can help me. The situation is very fragile. Just once, please help me.”Vegas insisted.
Great doesn’t want to be involved in any of mafia works. After all , he just wants to live his life as a common man. A life with his small family: his children, his love. But he can’t also deny his brother’s request.In any situation, His brother was the one who helped him, gave him all the luxuries to live comfortably.
“Fine, I will help you but only this time.”
” I knew I could entrust you, but promise me in any situation you will not back off and will complete the work I am gonna give you.”
Great thought of what kind of work it’s gonna be that his brother wants a promise from him!!!
“What kind of work is it?”
“I will tell you but promise me first you will complete it.”
Great was reluctant but still….
“ I PROMISE, I WILL COMPLETE IT“

*Few days later*
Great was already late for the exams and was running all the way there.
“Why didn’t I took my car today!!!! ” Great screamed in his mind.
” I can’t do much now. I have to run or else I wouldn’t reach there in time. And i definitely don’t want to give this exam again!!! ”
* Suddenly a car came in front of him and hit him and he fell on the ground*
” Don’t you know how to drive!!!! Ahhhhhh!!! My ankle broke!!! Ahhhh!!!! “
*Blood was flowing from his forehead*
*The man came out of the car and asked *
” Hey! Are you okay? I am sorry!!! I was in a hurry to the hospital. Let me take you there! “
*Great looked upon the man with pain in his ankle*
*Their eyes met and got locked with each other*
* He was a tall man with a good physique and face that anybody would fall for . He was wearing a black shirt and trousers.*
* He then took him in his car and bandaged him*
*Great felt a little relieved*
” Don’t worry, I will take you to the hospital and will do proper medication”
* He started driving his car *
” What’s your name?” Great asked
“I AM TYME” he replied.
