Unknown Daughter Of Poseidon | Pjo × Shameless | introduction to the family

A+ A-

The screen pans down to reveal a bustling city where the sounds of partying fill the air. The camera then zooms in on a group of people as Frank begins to speak. “Nobody’s saying our neighborhood is the Garden of Eden. Hell, some people say God avoids this place altogether,” Frank’s voiceover remarks as the scene shows a group of people laughing and celebrating.

Athena sighed as she glanced at the place where Kaimana had grown up. “God probably doesn’t want to be there,” she remarked.

“Is it that bad?” Poseidon asked, his voice tinged with concern and regret for his daughter.

“Yes,” Athena affirmed, meeting Zeus’s gaze.

“Maybe not that bad,” Zeus attempted to lighten the mood, but his words only drew glares from the others instead.

“But it’s been a good home to us…to me and my kids, who I’m proud of because every single one of them reminds me a little bit of myself,” Frank’s voiceover continues as the camera pans through the crowd, eventually settling on him. He is smoking a cigar and gazing at a fire that crackles and lights up the night with its flames.

Zeus turned to Poseidon. “Kaimana isn’t his,” he told him.

“We all know that, Zeus. You know what? I would have my daughter if it wasn’t for you and Apollo’s stupid prophecy,” Poseidon snapped, his frustration evident. Apollo looked down, knowing he bore half the blame.

“You don’t mean that, Poseidon,” Artemis interjected gently, but Poseidon glared at her.

“Well, Artemis, did I stutter?” Poseidon shot back, his tone sharp, causing everyone’s eyes to widen. They had never seen Poseidon like this before.

“Fiona, my rock, a huge help. She has all the best qualities of her mother,” Frank’s voiceover narrates as the camera focuses on a happy, smiling Fiona. “Except she’s not a raging psycho bitch,” he adds, as the scene cuts to a flashback of Fiona with a young Debbie and Carl. “Blow,” Fiona says, as the scene transitions back to the present.

“So he’s saying her mother’s psycho,” Athena retorted, taking it as a personal insult.

“Athena, why do you always make everything about you or someone else? Let’s be honest, she probably is psycho,” Zeus remarked, earning a glare from Athena.

“Some of you are psychos,” Percy chimed in.

“He’s not wrong,” Hades added.

The scene then shows Kaimana smiling at a boy nearby. “Kaimana, the devil of the family. She looks like she can’t do anything wrong, but she can be devilish,” Frank’s voiceover explains. The scene shifts to a flashback of Kaimana running from the cops, seducing a married man, and pretending to be an innocent angel.

“My baby…” Carmelina whispered, watching Poseidon’s happy expression as he stared at their daughter on the screen.

“She’s so pretty! Are you sure she’s not my daughter?” Aphrodite asked, a gleam in her eyes.

“My older sister is so pretty!” Percy exclaimed, but Kymopoleia glared at him and their father. She felt they were playing unfairly, ignoring her all her life until Percy was born and her father started noticing him instead.

She knew he didn’t mean to hurt her, but it stung. Now that her older sister was returning, she felt she had to eliminate her (and Percy) to reclaim her father’s favor.

“Lip, smart as a whip. Straight ‘A’s and the honor roll. The boy’s definitely going somewhere,” Frank’s voiceover says as the screen shows Lip drinking something. The scene then transitions to a flashback of Lip.

“He’s smart, I gotta say. He’s perfect for my Annabeth,” Athena remarked, her tone reflecting both admiration and a hint of approval. Annabeth blushed, her gaze momentarily lingering on Percy, who was comfortably cuddled up with Nico and Will nearby.

Despite Athena’s compliment, Annabeth couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness. She cherished her friendship with Nico and Will, but part of her longed to be in Percy’s arms instead. She forced a smile, hiding her inner turmoil as she tried to focus on the present moment.

Lip was running until he encountered a low gate. Police sirens blared as Lip sprinted with two cops chasing after him. “You, come back!” one of the cops shouted. “Stop!” the other yelled, continuing the pursuit.

“I kind of take back what I said,” Athena admitted, her expression shifting as she watched the scene unfold on the screen before her. She had spoken too soon, and now seeing the situation play out, she reconsidered her earlier statement.

“Ian, industrious, conscientious, ambitious, incredible work ethic,” Frank’s voiceover says as the camera shows Ian laughing at something. “Don’t have a clue where he got that from. Wants to be a paratrooper. Knows how to disembowel an enemy with a roll of dimes and an old gym sock,” Frank continues as the scene shifts to Ian going through some training with a gun.

“These kids are screaming trauma,” Percy remarked, his sentiment echoed by many around him.

“Yeah,” Nico added solemnly, “we’re all screaming trauma.”

“Carl. Uh, I don’t really know that much about Carl,” Frank’s voiceover says as the screen shows Carl laughing. “Always dragging home some poor stray he found, taking them up to his room,” Frank continues. The scene shows Carl trying to get away from Lip while laughing.

“Aw, he’s caring for the animals… isn’t he?” Artemis asked, prompting everyone to shrug their shoulders.

It then goes to a flashback of him with a cat wearing some sort of helmet, and holding what looks like a gas tank that is on fire.

Artemis looked wide-eyed with sadness. “That poor animal.”

“Ah, Debbie. Sent by God, a total angel,” Frank’s voiceover says as the camera shows Debbie looking thoughtful. “Raises money for UNICEF year-round, some of which she actually turns in,” Frank continues as the scene shows Debbie emptying her bank and a sock filled with money.

“Saving money is important, especially for college funds,” Athena advised, drawing the attention of the demigods. “Not everyone’s headed to college,” Clarisse retorted, giving Athena a side-eyed glance.
“People have different plans,” Hera added diplomatically.

“Liam, going to be a star. I’m no biologist, but he looks a little like my first sponsor. He and the ex were close,” Frank’s voiceover says as the scene shows a baby Liam, then transitions to a flashback of him picking up a mini basketball.

“He’s so adorable,” many cooed at the screen showing baby Liam.

“Kev and Veronica, fantastic neighbors. There’s nothing they won’t do for each other,” Frank’s voiceover said as it showed the two couples smiling, laughing, and hugging.

“That’s so cute,” Hera remarked, receiving a small smile from Zeus.

[ I’m not going to write this part sorry ]

“I never realized how little action I was getting until V and Kev moved next door,” Frank’s voiceover said as the scene shows Frank observing everyone.

There was silence all around.

“And me, Frank Gallagher, father, teacher, mentor, captain of our little ship,” Frank’s voiceover said as it shows him smiling. “We may not have much, but all of us, to a man, know the most important thing in this life…”

“So they broke?” Nico asked, devoid of remorse.
“Yeah,” I replied, feeling sorry for them.

“We know how to fucking party!” Frank’s voiceover exclaimed just as sirens from approaching cop cars interrupted. Someone tried to say something, but Frank yelled ‘no!’ It then shows police cars arriving where everyone is gathered.

“Party!” Apollo yelled, causing people to cover their ears.

“Fuck you, man!” shouted some random dude. The scene then shows people dispersing, with cops searching everyone before eventually letting them leave. Kaimana looked around with a smirk on her face.

“Ah, the infamous Poseidon smirk,” Amphitrite said, smiling at her husband.

“Oh, how I love this time of year!” Kaimana exclaimed with a laugh, moments before she ran from the cops, laughing like a maniac.

“So this is what my sister is like?” Kymopoleia remarked with a hint of judgment.

“My fabulous daughter!” Poseidon gushed proudly, beaming at Kymopoleia.

Kymopoleia glanced down at her father. He hadn’t given her the same attention as Percy or now her older sister, Kaimana. It was beginning to grate on her nerves.
