“We’re almost there I promise!” James said while guiding Kate down the street with his hands covering her eyes.
“James, this better not be a trick.” Kate urged, after having a bad week, not in the mood to be pranked.
The two were now official and all of their friends knew and celebrated when the time came.
Frank and Alice had an amazing, intimate wedding and it was magical.
“We’re almost there.” He replied, “Ok. Close your eyes for real.” Kate could hear him walk away in front of her.
“3… 2… 1… Open!”
Kate opened her eyes to see herself stood outside of a empty building, and then James shouted “Surprise!”
He’d bought her a building and laughed while she stood there starstruck.
“Come inside.” He urged and when she walked inside she saw all of their friends inside.
“You can finally start your cafe.” James said and leant down to kiss Kate’s cheek.
“And we will be your most loyal customers!” Marlene shouted and ran over to hug Kate.
“I know Mar, you eat most of my food as it is.” She laughed but then turned back to James.
“Thank you!” She jumped him and smothered him with kisses and embraced him tightly.
“I’d do anything for you, you know that.” James whispered into Kate’s ear.
“James you really didn’t have to-” Kate stated as small tears ran off her cheeks from happiness but then he cut her off.
“I wanted to.” He smiled and kissed Kate one more time not phased by the groaning of their friends.
