“Anyways, how do I look, Y/N?” William asks, the mask concealing most of his face but you can still make him out since he needs to adjust it a bit.
“Um, like Bonnie?” You say, not knowing if he wanted you to say anything in particular.
“Perfect.” He responds, ruffling your hair slightly.
You roll your eyes playfully, “Do you genuinely like wearing that thing? Is it not hot inside?” You ask, the suit was furry on the outside and it was a metal casing with even more metal. Surely it was hot
“Anywhere near you are hot.” William jokes, glancing at you up and down. Okay, this time you know that he definitely checked you out.
You blush again, seriously!? You dart your eyes away, “I’m serious…”
“So am I.”
You just sigh, you really need to get used to his teasing… You look up and just see him staring you, you can’t help but stare back. You want to ask him about how he feels about you… He makes you think a certain way but what if you’re completely wrong? What if kissing people is his normal!?
Ugh, that’d be weird. You shake your head slightly, “Hey uh, William?” You say, getting his attention and making him snap out of his staring.
“Yes?” William responds, fixing his suit in the mirror.
“I… Um, is there… Nevermind.” You can’t, it’s too embarrassing.
William turns around and looks at you, the way he looks at you makes you weak in the knees. William looks at you like you’re the only thing in this world that matters, like you’re important. You don’t know how to feel about that, it’s very possible he likes you but what if he doesn’t want a relationship or anything? You still don’t know if he’s single, you can assume yes but… You don’t know. Or what if once you’re together, William doesn’t like it because teasing you was more fun?
Ugh! Fuck! Why does this have to be so very complicated? It’s not fair, you came here to avoid drama and complications yet here you are…
“You know, you could help me with this,” William says as he continues to fix his suit, it looks fine though.
“What?” You ask, confused about what he means.
“The suit, I don’t know. Looks a little off, could you help?” William continues as he stares into the mirror.
“Um okay?” You respond, your confusion even bigger…
You get up and walk over to William, you can’t help but be intimidated by the suit. It’s massive and bulky, it’s like a big killer plushy. It’s dangerous so you can only assume what those spring locks do… It’s like a trap, a springtrap? Nonetheless, you try to ignore your fear and stand in front of him and the mirror, you clear your throat to get ready to speak.
“What do you need help with?-” You try to say but you’re suddenly pinned against the mirror, ah fuck, not again… Your face is flushed way too quickly for your comfort, why are you always blushing around him? Like, you need to learn to control it.
“You’re so fun to tease… And easy.” William says with a chuckle, his Bonnie suit was overwhelming to look at so you focus more on his words. But…
You just stay quiet, and those two words, fun and easy, make you uncomfortable. Like is this some game, is it all a lie? Have you been tricked this whole time? Ugh, these thoughts… And now you really believe them…
“So I am just a game to you?” You ask, looking away.
“What? No, I just find you… Entertaining that’s all. I can assure you, I am very much interested. We talked about this…” William responds, grabbing your chin to make you look at him. You look into his dark blue eyes. They’re entrancing to look at.
William keeps saying things that give you fucking mixed messages! Just please say something that it clear and obvious to the point, you don’t deserve to be overthinking everything he does. You want a clear answer, does he like you romantically or not? Sure, you’re fine if he doesn’t, you’d be okay with that. You just want to know.
You barely realize he’s just been staring at you, fuck he asked a question, didn’t he? You weren’t paying attention. Or he’s just staring…
“D… Did you ask something?” You ask, embarrassed to have been zoned out probably staring at him…
“Yes, I did,” William confirms firmly.
“Can you repeat it…?” You ask in a soft mumble.
“I asked if you’re interested in me?” William repeats, the question making you very much flustered. Sending butterflies to your stomach instantly…
“Um…” You struggle to find words, you want to yell yes but you’re a little worried. What if this is all a ploy or what if he thinks you’re too eager… Ugh…
“You can trust-” William starts to say.
You both freeze when someone walks backstage, “Woah, are we getting busy in here?” It’s Fritz.
William pulls away, you’ve become completely distracted by his voice to really remember he was doing all that in the Bonnie suit of all things. That’s super embarrassing. Now it looks like you have a thing for him in the suit…
William clears his throat slightly, “What do you want Fritz?” William asks, clearly unhappy to have this conversation interrupted. He didn’t even look at Fritz when he spoke.
“We’re about to open so we need you either out the backstage for the kids or you to put Bonnie back…” Fritz says, a sly smirk on his face, asshole.
“Right.” William says with a sigh as he continues to stare at you for a second, “Anyways, Y/N, ciao.~” William says in a teasing tone before walking off. You can hear kids on the other side of the wall, the place probably opened while you and William were uh…
“Dang, didn’t know you’d be freaky like that Y/N I barely know you but still. With the Bonnie suit?” Fritz jokes, catching you off guard.
“I… It’s not like that!” You say in a whisper-yell, your face bright red. Well, maybe it kind of is but not because of the suit! Could Fritz be any more of a fucking tease? It’s not your fault William did any of that or that he came in so can he just leave you alone!? It’s embarrassing.
“Whatever you say, I don’t judge. Well, I do but like William? Could do better you know.” Fritz comments, making you roll your eyes. You don’t know if he’s implying himself or if it’s just a joke.
“I said it’s not that, okay?” You repeat, embarrassedly. You seriously don’t need someone to tease you right now, you get enough from William…
“Right. Anyways, you also need to be out too. No slackers rule.” Fritz says, laughing slightly as he just stares at you collecting yourself from what he just walked in on.
“I’m not slacking off.” You respond, crossing your arms.
“Good, then let’s go, your boyfriend is probably entertaining kids,” Fritz says with a slight snicker at your surprised expression.
“He’s not my boyfriend!” You loudly mutter out, punching him in the arm.
“Ah, but you want him to be.” Fritz teases, rubbing his arm slightly as he only smirks.
“No, I don’t!” You hiss out, ready to punch this fucker again.
“Sureeee. I definitely believe you,” Fritz says, the sarcasm in his voice makes you wanna just punch him. So you do just that, you punch his arm again.
Fritz just laughs again and walks away, you stand there for a couple of seconds. Wondering what you should have said to William had Fritz not walked in. What if you don’t get that chance again? You don’t even know if you want anything romantic with him, it’s all so new to you… Seriously.
