By that time I will have our bags and suitcases packed so we can go straight to the airport. When we arrive we will explore the city a bit, go shopping for anything we like and some clothes for both us and Eumppappa, play some games both video games and physical ones if he wants, and go eat at famous restaurants he always wanted to visit and finally rest at my house and do whatever he wants.

They got straight to it.

They looked around for the perfect decorations both online and in the stores.

While searching they were even able to find a dog balloon that was nearly identical to eumppappa, Gyuvin’s lovely dog.

When they finished buying, everything was basically done cause Ricky already took care of the other things (the only time he was a J).

“This was the easiest, most peaceful birthday surprise preparation. Thanks, Ricky. I really appreciate it,” Taerae said, others agreeing thanking him too.

“For real. You planned and prepared EVERYTHING a month in advance…the dedication. I am sure he would love anything you would surprise him with anyway,” Gunwook said smiling at Ricky who returned the smile.

“I know but I wanted to do something really special for him like he did for me.”

“You guys are so disgustingly cute it makes me sick to my stomach.” and that made everyone ijbol.

(To the people that dont know ijbol = I just burst out laughing)

“What should we do now??” Gyuvin asked Ricky excitedly.

Gyuvin and Ricky just finished watching Queen of Tears, now just lying in bed.

“Mmh. I am tired let’s go to sleep Qubing,” Ricky yawned pretending to be sleepy so that Gyuvin would fall asleep.

“What?? Already?? We never sleep this soon!” Gyuvin whined.

“Please Qubing…I am tired” Ricky pleaded.

Seeing how Ricky tired looked Gyuvin sighed before agreeing.

“Ok…” Gyuvin’s had an expression of a kicked puppy making Ricky chuckle softly.

“don’t be upset Qubing let’s cuddle hm?” Ricky’s suggestion made Gyuvin’s eyes light up.

“Yes yes!!! Gyuvin cheered quickly lying down, wrapping his arms around Ricky while Ricky hugged his waist.

“Please sleep gyuvinie…” Ricky begged in his mind.

Gyuvin’s hand kept stroking Ricky’s head so when it stopped it was a sign that he fell asleep.

Ricky carefully lifted his head from Gyuvin’s chest checking if he was really asleep.

“Qubing??” Ricky whispered.

No reaction.

“Qubing?” He voiced out again.

No reaction.

He was asleep!

Ricky quietly took his phone, which was on the nightstand.

11:24 PM

“Great” Ricky cheered in his mind quickly texting the gc.

Hao who had the key to Ricky’s home opened the door for everyone to quickly come in.

They greeted Ricky who was carefully trying to get out of Gyuvin’s tight hold.

He succeeded in the end and together they decorated the room.

Just to be sure the others already blew the balloons earlier so that they wouldnt risk popping a balloon.

If a balloon pops during the decoration process then…they hope that won’t happen.

It didn’t happen!

They cheered in their heads.

By the time they were done, it was 11:51!

Ricky went to take the cake (that he requested and bought) and with Hanbin’s help, they put candles on and light them up.

In the meantime, the members took out their, party horns, hats, and other things before preparing to scream at the top of their lungs.

11:59

“Guys one minute left” Gunwook whisper shouted as everyone scrambled to their place.

“3…2…1!”

“SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!”

Loud shouting was heard along with the sound of party horns and other stuff making Gyuvin jump up from his sleep.

His vision was still blurry because of his sleep so he rubbed his eyes a bit to see what was going on.

When his vision was normal again he saw his boyfriend with a cake in his hands singing along with his friends the birthday song.

“Gyuvin!! Make a wish!!”

“I wish for me and Ricky to be a happy and healthy couple forever”

“What did you wish for??” Yujin asked receiving a slap from Jiwoong.

“You are not supposed to say that!”

“Happy birthday Gyuviniee!”

“Happy birthday!!”

Everyone wished him as Gyuvin couldn’t help but tear up at the sweet gesture.

All of this…for him??

“Aww Gyuvinie don’t cryy. Do you wanna eat the cake now or later??” Ricky comforted his boyfriend before asking.

“Later”

And with that, Ricky kicked out their friends before he and Gyuvin went back to bed.

“Happy birthday baby” Ricky wished him once again making Gyuvin smile, kissing him.

“Thanks love”

Now, Gyuvin thought that was it right. A nice surprise at night and then have a normal celebration with his friends and family which is great by the way BUT little did he know what his boyfriend prepared for him.

August 30th

Morning

Gyuvin woke up with Ricky not in his arms making him frown but as soon as he heard a sweet voice singing from the kitchen he assumed he quickly got up and headed there.

While Ricky was cooking he felt two strong arms wrapped around his waist, smiling knowing who the owner of those hands was.

“Good morning Gyu”

“Good morning love”

“I am making us breakfast. I am nearly done so go wash up and come ok?” Ricky’s words made him whine but still obeyed leaving his love behind. (He is dramatic af we love him for it)

When Gyuvin finished with his routine and went back to the kitchen, he was met with a table full of his favorite food making his eyes light up.

“Babyyy” Gyuvin gasped before calling.

Ricky appeared with a few drinks putting them on the table as Gyuvin hugged him.

“Do you like it??” Ricky asked.

“Like it?? I love it!! You didn’t need to cook all of it though you must have cooked for hours!” Gyuvin pouted while Ricky chuckled.

“Now to not waste my efforts you have to eat a lot!” Ricky said making Gyuvin nod eagerly like a child.

The two sat down and ate and it was time for Ricky’s second part of his plan.

He suddenly took out an envelope and gave it to Gyuvin who looked at him confused.

“Love, what is this??”

“Open it”

Gyuvin did as he was told and when he opened it he saw two tickets ??

“Huh? What is this??” Gyuvin voiced, taking out the two tickets to read what was on it.

“Tickets to Shanghai???” Gyuvin spoke in shock.

“Surprise! We are going to Shanghai!!”

“When?” Gyuvin said as he read more.

“TODAY???!!” Gyuvin shouted in disbelief.

“Why? you dont like it?” Ricky pouted, knowing it was far from the truth.

“No no baby I love it! Thank you so so much! I just ahhhh the flight is in a few hours!! How are we supposed to do everything in time and-” Gyuvin rambled but Ricky cut him off.

“Don’t worry love. I had already packed everything we needed. Just eat and after resting we will go to the airport and fly to Shanghai!” Ricky said calming Gyuvin down.

“I- wow…Thank you so much love! I always wanted to visit your hometown,” Gyuvin thanked, dropping his chopstick so he could hug his boyfriend again for the nth time.

“I know babe. Now continue eating so you have a lot of energy.” Ricky said and Gyuvin did as he was told now even more happily.

In Shanghai

“Wahhhh it’s so pretty heree. No wonder you are so gorgeous. Your hometown is gorgeous too!” Gyuvin complimented.

Silly Gyuvinie.

Although what Gyuvin said was cheesy and silly it still made Ricky blush a deep pink making Gyuvin notice.

“Ohhh did I make my lovely Ricky shy??”

“Shut up, would you? Anyway, I have already called a taxi to pick us up. We will go to our house and put our stuff there before continuing.” Ricky said, Gyuvin just nodded in acknowledgment.

They arrived at Ricky’s house.

They put their stuff in Ricky’s room before Gyuvin plopped down on Ricky’s bed.

“Oh, by the way, how long are we here?” Gyuvin asked.

“For a week.”

“Omg, thats so exciting!” Gyuvin cheered while Ricky just smiled at his cute boyfriend.

“So? What is the plan, boyfie soon-to-be hubby??” Gyuvin asked Ricky, looking up at him since was still standing beside the bed.

“Glad you asked love. 

Since we are here we should definitely explore the city a bit. Then knowing, both of us, shopping is a sure thing. We can buy anything we like. We could buy some clothes and actually, there is a cute shop for pets not far away from here. We can buy some stuff for eumppappa including clothes for her! 

Then, since you love games, we can play some games. It doesn’t matter if video games or physical or both. 

And as everyone knows you are also a big foodie so we can eat at the famous restaurants you wanted to try and finally rest here and do whatever you want.” 

Ricky rambled reading him everything he planned to do from his phone not noticing Gyuvin staring at him as if he hung the stars.

“That’s everything I planned for the week so far. You can add more things to the list too. I am sure we will manage. But if you are interested in doing something else that’s good too! And- What?” Ricky questioned when he finally looked away from the phone, seeing Gyuvins love-struck expression.

“Nothing. I just love you. So what were you saying??” Gyuvin asked as Ricky deeply sighed but before he could say anything Gyuvin beat him to it.

“Just kidding! I am just kidding love. I heard everything” Gyuvin laughed as he pulled Ricky down onto the bed, pulling him into a hug.

“Your plan sounds perfect Ri. I love it. Thank you so much for everything. Let’s do all that,” Gyuvin smiled which made Ricky mirror his expression.

“I am glad you like it. Happy birthday, darling.”
